I cant download new iphone update. i have turned off firewalls disabled security cleared dns cache and still nothing. i get this message err = _3259.

im stil on O.S. 4.3.2 as this was the last one i have been able to update to. Please help=)
try taking Thunderbird offline File menu (Alt+F) > offline > workoffline
Close Thunderbird
reboot your computer
Restart Thunderbird and try compacting while Thunderbird is still offline.

You an use your iPhone without connecting it to a computer.
But the product description for the iPhone clearly states that in order to sync with a Mac you must have OSX 10.6.8 or later. That version of the OSX is usually called Snow Leopard. There are two mo recent versions of OSX. OSX 10.7.x (Lion) and OSX 10.8.x (Mountain Lion).
If you can upgrade your computer to at least Snow Leopard I suggest you do so. -

If the phone is locked to a carrier then you will need the carrier to unlock it And only the carrier can do that.

I did the iTunes update yesterday and now I am getting this message when I try to open iTunes - “This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please re-install iTunes. (-42037) Can anybody help me out resolving this?
Download iTunes using the tab at the top of this page, re-install. Back up your computer first.

Go into compositionReady and have 3 variables you will be able to set them like this
strike1 = 0;
strike2 = 0;
strike3 = 0;
So on the wrong item click have
if(strike1 == 0) {
PLAY STRIKE1 ANIMATION
strike1 = 1;
else if(strike2 == 0) {
PLAY STRIKE2 ANIMATION
strike2 = 1;
else if(strike3 == 0) {
PLAY STRIKE2 ANIMATION
strike3 = 1;
So this will make it so when the wrong item is clicked each strike will be played in order.
Random Scrolling -
You should look into the Math.Random function to make things random in edge.
This is an example of the Random function. It will generate a random number up to 100.

Lose Screen Score -
So we can create another variable in compositionReady for the lose score.
score = 0;
Now when the user gains a point to add to the score you could do this code on the click
score++;
which would add 1 to the score, However you can add however much you like to the score doing "score + 2" and so on.
To edit a text with the score at the end which I'm assuming you will want to do you will use .html
so $("Text").html("You score is " + score);

Is your I tunes ID an @me.com ID? If not, i cloud ONLY works with an @me.com ID. You will have two ID's. One for I cloud, one for I tunes

Hard drive is partitioned and I cant download new OS update due to lack of room on main drive
My hard drive has two drives. The smaller drive has the startup programs etc. Ive tried to download new Iphone OS but not enough memory on main drive. How do I resolve this?
Have you considered downloading to a external hard drive or purchasing a larger internal hard drive? The latter suggestion would seem the best option.

Cannot download new U2 album. Says purchased on my account but no evidence anywhere and I definitely did not purchase it. Can anyone help with what is going on?
It was given free to everyone on tuesday as part of the iPhone 5 event/announcement, so it will show as purchased in the store.
If this is on your iPhone then either turn Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under 'show all') 'on' - it should then show in the Music app with a cloud icon against it for downloading.
Or go to the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app, select Music, and it might then show under 'Various' - when downloaded it should correctly be under U2 in Music.
If you are using your computer's iTunes then you should be able to download it into your library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac) - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option on a computer is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download. -
[iTunes 8.0.2]: I cannot download new iPhone updated applications

I am suffering something very weird since three days ago. Well, I have iTunes 8.0.2.20 with QT 7.5.5, so everything is up to date.
I can connect to iTunes Store, I can buy/download new songs and I can buy new iPhone applications at the iTunes Store. But the problem is that the iTunes says that I have 55 Applications updates (and this number grows everyday because there are new updates released), but when I press the button: "55 Updates available" at the Applications section the iTunes says me:
"We cannot complete your iTunes Store request. There is an unknown error (-50)."
And I have been trying everything: Re-install iTunes and QuickTime, flush the DNS with the WinXP 'ipconfig' command, disconnect completely the firewall, etc.
But, it continues happening, although 3 days ago didn't happened and I didn't changed anything in my PC. But suddently began to happen this issue.
Can you help me, please?

i just downloaded most recent iPhone update (for the old 2G phone). it downloaded everything correctly and then when phone reset it came back with an error that my SIM card is not in properly and wont activate my phone. Itunes wont recognize my phone so i can't restore.

Try removing and re-inserting your SIM. To do this, insert a paperclip into the small hole on the top of the iPhone, then push the tray back in.
