I cant download opera mini

Hi..... i am using nokia lumia 620 i am not. Able to upload photos on fb and can't download. Opera mobile & opera mini

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

Trouble wih viewing file on media card/downloaded with Opera Mini 5

Hello all,
I downloaded Opera Mini 5 beta recently and was downloading a .pdf file. It allowed me to choose a specific folder to where I can download the file to (which is really neat). So I chose to download it to my media card. I tried opening it from the download manager of Opera Mini, but there's no such option. So I went on to "explore" it through "Media" and I found it. When I tried to open the file, it tells me that it is "Unable to display file (file name)". Am I doing anything wrong or what's going on? Opera Mini problem or my problem? The file works perfectly fine though because I tried emailing the file to myself and opening it on my blackberry, and it works.
Anyone knows what's going on?

Natively, PDFs are only viewable for the time that they remain an attachment to an email; the email Attachment Service renders them. Once detached (or otherwise not an email attachment), you need an add-on app to view the file. There are several out there...search the alternatives and choose the one that best meets your needs.

Opera mini installation error

Help, i need to download opera mini bt i cant because of the original system file! :'(

For us to better assist you, may we know the phone model you are using? Can you tell us also the exact error message that you are getting when installing the Opera Mini?

Opera mini 6 & c3-01

I've purchased a new c3-01 2 days ago. But i can't update to opera mini 6 as it says "Invalid application to update". How can i solve this issue?
Its also quite disappointing to know that it doesn't support google maps. Even my old 6300 did so.

It can b updated now. Found a round about. Go to www.umnet.com. Download opera mini 6 for c3-01 from there. Its without certificate but still download it. Let it stay in the phone's games folder. Now go to m.opera.com. Download the app from there & it will replace the uncertified app to certified app. the only problem that'll occur is that u'll no longer b able to set mini5 as the go to option.

Welcome to the Nokia discussion boards!
Did you download Opera Mini here from the Nokia applications store? If not, download it and install the application through Nokia Suite which can be found here.
It may be worth also before reinstalling applications, to perform a soft reset, which will restore your settings and not delete any data from the device. You can do this by entering *#7780# into your keypad and when prompted, enter 12345 as the default passcode.

Can't download opera 5.1

hi
i use 6303i classic and recently updated to fw version 9.83, now i am facing problem in downloading opera mini 5.1...
version 4.2 is already installed by nokia, but i am not allowed to update,
in my previous fw 7.10, i was allowed a update and opera 5.1 worked really fine
can somebody help me in this matter

i downloaded 5.1 on pc & installed it, it's working fine, thanks for your reply.
There are some small small issues tough, if somebody can help i would be really helpful,
1.Edge connection suddenly stops working, i have to put phone into flight mode & come back to make it work again, and i am sure this funny thing started after i updated the software,
2. Cannot sync calender & notes, i also updated ovi suite to 3.0 recently

hi i bought nokia 5800 in saudi arabia, i download opera mini from mini.opera.com but installation fails.
the error:
"failed to connect to the internet"
but i have a working data connection from "mobily ksa"

opera services and browsers have been blocked in many countries ... especially in countries with strict internet viewership laws .... i live in pakistan and opera is blocked and it gives me the same error message....

Opera Mini or Opera Mobile --- Help?

Hi all,
I love surfing on my N series (N82) nokia, but the native browser is horrible. i am not a fan of apple products at all but I must admit the safari browser is very cool. I have heard Opera ia a better choice for a browser on my N series. Great. I'm just not sure to download Opera Mini or Opera Mobile for the N82. Or what is the difference? should I buy the mobile version or use free mini version.
anyone got any quick advice or suggestions...

Mini is a simpler version of Mobile.
You have to pay for Opera Mobile, so it comes with more features.
I'm not sure if it offers a huge increase in performance or experience over Mini.
I have an N82 and use Mini. It's fantastic!
I had a friend recently comment "wow, your's is the first mobile that actually made me feel like i was online, and not using a phone."

I download Opera Mini 6 to update version 5. I reboot my BB and when I launch Opera Mini, begin to install. When it is in a 1/5 then it stops and in a while show this message "It's not possible to connect to Internet. Check your configuration (translate it from spanish)". I am connecto to Internet by WIFI and I can browse with the BB browser
Do you know how to fix it?

How cn i get a certificate for opera mini?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
Some Java applications require a certificate to be installed on your phone. To get your certificate back, please try these three steps:
Update your software using Firmware Over The Air (FOTA). If there is an update available, the certificates will be downloaded to your phone
Try reinstalling the firmware using Nokia Suite/Nokia PC Suite. It will install the genuine software for the phone along with the certificate
If the issue persists please contact your local authorised Nokia Care Point

Opera mini for TX

Has anyone has success getting the Opera mini browser to work on the Palm TX? According to Opera, http://www.operamini.com/download/pc/palm/palm_tx/ the mini does work on the TX. I quote: "Based on testing performed by Opera Software, this device [Palm TX] supports Opera Mini Advanced (MIDP 2)."
They also note at Opera FAX: http://www.operamini.com/help/faq/#palm: " Opera Mini works with a number of Palm devices, however you may need to install a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) before downloading Opera Mini. Please see our list of supported Palm devices."
I install the Opera Mini and Java Virtual Machine from Palm (though it was not easy to find), but when I try to use the Opera browser, the opening screeen appears, but then it disappears, and I'm back to the basic menu of the Palm. Pressing any button then reboots the TX. Any ideas?

Opera mini 6 says application error after some bro...

hello, i am using a nokia x2-01 device. I have downloaded opera mini 6.5 from m.opera.com , when i run the app, it runs well. After e while (after browing some pages) , it shows "application error: reason : out of memory error" . Can you tell me, what should i do now ?

Transferring Opera Mini from pc to phone

I have just got a Blackberry Curve 9300 and am trying to download 'opera mini' onto my phone in order to use the internet.
I think I have downloaded it correctly onto my pc and have dragged the files across to my blackberry folder. The files appear to show on my phone under Applications;Files;All Files but when I click on it it says 'unable to display file'
Can anyone give me a step by step guide as to how to get opera mini on my phone??

It's much easier from your BlackBerry browser to simply go to m.opera.com
If you want to do it from your PC, you need to download the specific version for your model from the Opera MIni site, to your PC. Then you will run the BlackBerry Desktop Software on your PC and add the application by following the instructions (Applications > Add).
So, no, you can not 'drag'ndrop' the file from your PC to your BlackBerry to install any application.
