I cant download the newest itunes
Everytime I try to download itunes it says I cannot. I tried everything in the support section of apple's website. It says to empty a folder named "Temp" which I did. It says to uninstall Itunes....which I did. And now I do not know what to do. I need help, I am unsure if anyone knows something I can do to help or someone who can help.
Everytime I try to download itunes it says I cannot.
Do you get an error message if you try to install iTunes? If so, what does it say? (Precise text, please.)

Can't download the newest iTunes on my computer, so I can't download music to my iPhone 5
Call Apple and order a Snow Leopard DVD. Once you have installed it, use the combo updater to update to 10.6.8 and then install iTunes 10.7

My macbook is 4 years old, i havent bought any upgrades but now i cant download the new itunes. Can i buy one upgrade and will it work or is there a way to get the new itunes?
Even a four-year-old MacBook should have come with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Leopard can run the latest version of iTunes; it will download and install pretty much automatically if you run Software Update.
You might first have to be sure that you are running the latest version of Leopard, which is 10.5.8. This, too, will download and install for you if you run Software Update. Just keep running Software Update until there is nothing left to download and install (you might have to run it more than once because some updates require previous updates to be installed first).
If you have a version of Mac OS X earlier than 10.5, then you can't run the latest version of iTunes. You will need to buy a more recent version of Mac OS X. You must be running at least 10.4 Tiger, and you can upgrade directly to Snow Leopard from Tiger. Apple still sells Snow Leopard for about $30 and you might find it slightly less at a retailer or on eBay. After upgrading to Snow Leopard, you will be able to upgrade to Lion using the Mac App Store for another $30 or so if your MacBook meets the minimum system requirements. -
Why can't I download the newest itunes
I am trying to download the newest Itunes and the download file window stays at 10%
Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple website:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Does that go through any better for you? -

When I pluged in my iPad, I was told to download the newest version of iTunes. But the download doesn't work. There is no message about this, except "Thank you for downloading iTunes".
What can I do?
Thank you for your answer.

Can't Download the Newest iTunes--Install Doesn't Complete
If I use the download from the Apple webpage, the Windows Installer hardly ever loads the program. Very rarely it will, and I will get to the page where the program will be installed (the page that says "All Your Music. All in One Place."), the green status bar will be almost full, and then it will stop. If I use the Apple Software Update for iTunes+Quicktime, the green bar will get to about 55% full, above it it will say "Installing..." and then it will stop. I've tried both install methods several times and I have left them for about two hours with no progress. I use a Vista Basic but I have never had this problem before. How can I get it to actually install?
I can't download iTunes either. I have Windows XP and when trying to download just iTunes 9.0.3 it will start to download and then get to 15.60 KB and stop. I tried downloading it thru iTunes using the Update iTunes option, tried downloading from I.E. 8 and Firefox/Mozillaa and no luck. I even found the option to download 8.0.2 and 8.1.7 off Apple's website and neither one of those will download, they all just stall after awhile. I have cleared my web cache for both IE and Firefox, removed the previous version of iTunes and all the apps associated with it. I had a saved copy of iTunes 8.0.2 and reinstalled it, but again with the older app, I still can't download the newest version of iTunes. This time it gives the option to install Bonjour, Safari and iTunes, it got thru Bonjour but froze on Safari and didn't get to iTunes. I have been fighting this since the day the newest iTunes came out.

hi guys,
ive just got a new ipod 7th gen.
trying to download the new itunes version but when i go to itunes page i can select download onto mac, but underneath it the buttons have changed to a small blue and white question mark and the 'download' button in the right hand top corner is fainted out and wont let me select.

i cant go for a run until i get my new ipod working! eeek!If that is happening on the iTunes web page, that is odd. What version of Mac OS X does your Mac run?
You can try using Software Update instead. From the Apple menu, select Software Update. If there is a more recent version of iTunes available for your Mac and version of Mac OS X, it will appear listed as an available update. -
I down loaded the newest iTunes software to update my iPhone 4 and when I open it, it crashes. I have completely uninstalled it twice and reinstalled it again and still it doesn't work. Please help.
- First I would remove and reinstall all the Apple software using the following and then restoring the ipOd.
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
- Next see if manually placing the iPOd in recovery mode will allow a restore. For recovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
- Next try DFU mode:
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- Next try another computer/cable to help determine if you have a computer or iPod problem.
- If the other computer works and yours does not see:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
