I cant email my daughter at yahoo,nor can I access yahoo help line didI do something on firefox that is causing this problem as it has never happened before and there are no changes in my daughters email address,she has had it for 10 + years.Please help thanks Pam

Thank you for your question. It sounds like there might be an issue with the clipboard, but I do not know exactly what might be preventing this. Did you make any recent changes to the Firefox configuration?

If it does, this is most likely just a website programming error. Simply report the issue to the website development team. There is nothing we can do on this end.

I don't know why this just started to happen unless v3.0 were somehow moved from its location.
I once had FCP7 get confused between Motion 4 and Motion 5 when I failed to follow Apple's installation recommendations but never a problem with FCPX going to the wrong app. (But I don't use the Send to Compressor workflow.)
When you have the legacy apps already installed on your system, the new pro app download moves the old ones into a folder, named Final Cut Studio. That's what I was getting at when I suggested you create a new folder for C3.

My mac has started sending yahoo emails out as if they were being sent from an old gmail account I haven't used in years. Why has this just started happening?
It is important to understand that Mail uses TWO servers, a Receiving Server and a Sending Server.
When you create a new mail message, or reply to a message, the Sender server is shown in the message composition window like this:
That drop-down window allows you to select which of the Sending Servers you previously set up should be used.
In general, once you choose a Sending server, its choice will "stick" for all future replies to messages from that Receiving mailbox. -
When I type my email address in the "To:" field, a random name comes up next to it as "Holidays in United States". This just started happening out of the blue and I have no idea why. Does anyone else have any idea?
Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. I can receive emails, but I cannot send emails. This just started happening. I have an iPhone and I can send emails from my phone fine. It's just not working on my Macbook. Every time I try to send an email it goes straight to my outbox. Can anyone help?
Thank you for heading me in the right direction. I reset my Mail account for Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net:(customer ID)@att.net (instead of smtp.att.yahoo.com, per Apple's online troubleshooting information). I'm not sure what "(Offline)" means when it appears at the end of my Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)?? In the Advanced box I clicked on "Use custom port: 465" and checked "Use Secure Sockets Layer." Authentication: Password; I have correct User Name and Password put in. After doing all this, when I try to send emails again today, they go directly to the Outbox and sit there.
What's curious is that my first sent email this morning did go out using the Outgoing Mail Server, smtp.att.yahoo.com: (customer ID)@att.net(Offline) but subsequent emails I tried to send with this server were rejected with the message: "Cannot send message using the server smtp.att.yahoo.com (etc.). The SMTP server doesn't support TLS(SSL) on port 587. Verify your account settings and try again." That's when I tried resetting my Outgoing Mail Server to outbound.att.net (etc.), as mentioned above, and was unsuccessful in sending out any further emails. I guess my next step is to contact my email service provider, AT&T, and see if they can help me. Thanks, again, for taking the time to respond and for giving me your input! Much appreciated! -

I resolved both my problems. The problems with Walgreens is that my own Frontier internet connection is very slow and will allow only minimal downloads. When I used a Verizon Hot Spot to download pictures they downloaded without any problem. So I am working iwth Frontier to resolve my slow internet speed. The problem with pictures be syncronized to a gallery was resolved by using the Help column and the pictures were easily deleted by following their instructions.

Are you using Google Bookmarks rather than the built in Firefox bookmarks?
Google changed the login URL for Google accounts and the Google Toolbar addon needs to be fixed by Google to correct the URL it is trying to log in to. -

You're flat-out wrong and you should really try to refrain from passing off your opinion as fact. I happen to be the admin for my organization's SharePoint site and when I use Safari on my MacBook Pro with OSX 10.9 I see this error/warning message all the time on our portal. However, when I use Firefox on my Mac or when I'm using my Windows 8.1 laptop (with IE 11) I NEVER see the message.

This just started happening.. I open Itunes and the little round rainbow loading indicator just goes on and doesnt stop.. My itunes wont function.. It gets stuck. Then i have to force quit.. I tried to shut down and restart. also reloaded the latest itune 11.1.3 and it still gets stuck.
i use an external HD and thats fine.. all files are in there. But I have no idea why my itunes app is getting stuck.

Ok i have indesign CS6 and all files are stored on a 10.7.5 MAC server. This just started happening. When I open a file indesigns is creating a textfile in the same folder? I need some help on this.
Ask in the ID forum and be much more specific about your configuration. there could be any number of reasons why manifests, temp files or restore files are created.

In Adobe Send, I have sent files several times now and when the recipient clicks the link to open, it says page cannot be found. This just started happening. What needs to be corrected?
I can think of a couple of reasons for this behavior.
You inadvertently turned off the sharing for the files.
The link that the user is clicking on is incomplete; perhaps it got broken across lines in an email message. Are you sending Anonymous Links or Personalized Invitations? If the former, are you certain that you copied the entire link?
Some things to try.
Have the user send the link back to you so that you can test it. Does it work for you?
If you look at your Sent Files list, is the name in the Sent To column struck through (e.g., John Smith)? That would indicate that it has been unshared.
If you could get back to me with answers, perhaps we can get to the bottom of this. -
Why are my text messages being erased after automatically after a 24HR period. I would like to have the option back to erase the history when I choose. This just started happening when my voicemail was fixed. How can I stop this? I have plenty of storage available on my Iphone 4S. It is 16 GB.
