I just bought a new iMac and am trying to install Lightroom. The system is asking for my original serial number which I don't have. The point is. If I have the upgrade registered with my Adobe account, shouldn't that be proof that an earlier version was on my computer??? I'm really stuck. Need some advice! Thanks

I entered. But it showed up that the serial number is valid, but the qualifying product could not be found. I could not be able to find Ver 11 from the list. What can I do?

The qualifying product is the older version that you owned before you purchased the upgrade to version. It is what qualifies you to use the less expensive upgrade version. So you need to select the older version and provide its serial number to prove that you qualify for using the upgrade.

How do I register the serial number for Acrobat when the window disappears?

I want to use Adobe Acrobat for the first time and I got a window for the serial number.
I had the wrong paper in my hand and typed the serial for CS5 which was denied.
I found the correct paper with the serial number for CS 6, but the window for typing it in doesn't
return to the screen.
I can see a getting started window flash by, but it doesn't stay on-screen long enough to read what it says.
I don't know how to get the window for the serial number for CS6 to be entered.

Hello Judy,
one way is to deinstall your CS6 in combination with a reboot. After reinstalling should CS6 start now with the registration mask.

HT4061 I can't use my ipad mini. All buttons are frozen including the on and off, can't even find the serial number, can't see it on the back, can't find it under settings because no buttons will work. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

My ipad mini is frozen and won't allow me to use any buttons. I can't access settings to get the serial number for Apple Support and I can't read the serial number from the back. It's too small and shadowy. There is a message that reads "ICloud Backup--This ipad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Back ups happen when this ipad is plugged in,locked, and connected to Wi-Fi."
It won't allow me to shut if off using the on and off button. I stuck a paper clip into the tiny reset button, but nothing happens.
Has anyone else had this problem? Please help,
