I cant find a solution with my ipad after upgrading to ios8
hello everybody , i upgraded successfully to ios8 and it s great but recently i found a major problem
when i use safari web browser and write any website it s openning then directing me to a website called goodwebads.com
what i can do to stop that problem
go into the settings, safari and clear your cache. then reset your iPad. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. when you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again.
If that doesn't make it go away then go back into the settings, safari and clear your history.
Basically there's a browser hijack ad on that page and you've got to clear away the cached information to get away from it, or, unfortunately, it'll just keep running.

I have an issue with my ipad after upgrading the firmware to V 4.3.5 (BL1) : I cannot navigate in 3G any more even if I get a good signal.
After a while I get the message (Impossible to connect to the server)

Note: i had no problem before of the upgrade
Reading some italian forum I saw this is a software bug and it will be apple resposability to fixing it in pacth and the issue might occurs with other operator as well

You may have purchased a used iPad that someone had returned. Perhaps iOS 5 will allow you to operate it out-of-the-box, but in that past you had to activate it using iTunes on your computer.
Or maybe someone swapped iPads with you when you weren't looking?? Try running the Settings App. Go to Settings-General-About. Is the Name correct or someone elses? What version is listed there?

Internet speed too slow in hotspot mode on iPad after upgrade to iOS8
Problem:
After upgrade from iOS7 to iOS8 my 3G internet speed shows very poor performance in Hotspot mode.
Before upgrade (on iOS7):
3G
without hotspot -- 4 MB/s
in hotspot mode shared over WiFi -- 4 MB/s
After upgrade (to iOS8):
3G
without hotspot -- 4 MB/s
in hotspot mode shared over WiFi, Bluetooth and USB -- speed drops to stable 20-30 KB/s regardless of attached device or network quality
I contacted my 3G operator, they report to have made no changes, and have no clue and suggest me to contact 'equipment manufacturer'.
I have tried different kind of settings, resetting/experimenting with APN/username/pass. The only thing I haven't done so far is I didn't erase/clean reinstall my iPad. But I will do it soon.
Could you please suggest:
a) has anyone else faced such a problem?
b) has anyone have an idea how to fix it?

A solution was to leave the 'Hotspot APN' blank and fill out the 'login' field instead with <any> symbols. -

Actually I have 2 problems: I cant find my pdf/ibooks on computer after backing up my iPad (they are on my iPad). I looked under Ipad, I Books, PDFs, and it doesn't show them on the computer. How do I manually transfer these files?
Also, I'm having issues with my Ipad turning off about every 2 minutes, and I want to restore it. I want to make sure all of the files are backed up before I restore. My trouble started when I was trying to update my IPad but it was taking too long (internet was scetchy) so I powered off...now Im having problems. I haven't tried to update again since this problem. Any suggestions? Should I restore? Should I update to 7.0.6? (currently 7.0.3).

Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.

I had the same problem but looking at what everyone else said, I simpley slowly started to click on all the tabs in the app store, let them load completely, and then clicked back to the updates afterwards. It worked after a little while

After Upgrading to iOS8, the iPhoto Events on my Mac wont sync with my iPad2.
I recently updated to iOS8 on my iPad2. During the update I got a message that the update failed and my iPad was stuck in Recovery Mode. After Restoring my iPad2 and loading the most recent backup, I'm having issues with syncing all of my data back on the iPad. I have the option selected to sync "Selected Events and Events from the past 12 months" to my iPad2. After completing a sync, NONE of the events appear on my iPad. The only photos that are available are in the Recent Photos's section. I have tried syncing multiple times with no success.
Any suggestions on how to get these events back on the iPad??

Had the same issue. Hard reset not working.
What I did was: start your mac/pc and open iTunes, hold down the home button of the iPad (and while holding the button), connect it to the PC with the cable.
Keep pressing until you get a pop-up asking to upgrade or restore.

After upgrading to ios8 my iPad and iPhone could not sign in to iCloud. The error was either 'server error' or verification failed. I reset the password and verified I could log in via my Mac Mini and Macbook Air but I still get the error on my two iPads and iPhone that verification failed.
