I cant find my iphone 4s and the power is off, can it be located still
i lost or was stolen (my iphone 4s) and I have gone to the find my iphone app, and it says its not set up. I have used it before and it worked. I am sure the phone battery is dead by now. Is there any way my phone carrier can find it somehow? I was hoping someone would turn it on so It can be located with the app.
Im not the most savy tech person so excuse me if this is something obvious just not to me

Been reading through the site searching for anything to give me hope that someone... may power it on and then the app locate the phone for me.
From posts, that is most likely not going to happen...
I dont have insurance so this is a no win situation, but should I stil call provider and report it missing? or should I just hope someone is careless enough to try to use it so it will eventually be able to be tracked?
Again sorry for the stupid questions, this was my first iphone and I am way behind on the technology

I downloaded a free game last night and since then under the shared tab in my finder it says "hp002655a82ea0" and the only info I can get about it is that it is a pc. Then under console I see several "stealth mode connection" attempts ti TCP 192.168.1.107:##### from 74.125.225.82.443. The second number has jumped around and sometimes starts with 192. I dont really know what those numbers are but how do I stop them from attempting to get through my firewall and kick them out of my shared tab??? Do you mean when the water was spilled on it, it shut down? That would indicate a major internal short occured.
Really, I'd say you need to take it into Apple or an Apple authorized repair center and get it looked at. Odds are you've got a significantly damaged device that will require professional repair and parts replacement to get working again. -

My kids misplaced her iPad, we can't find it for almost three months already. Check using 'find my iPhone' it show the iPad still OFF. Is there any way to find it last location before it was OFF ?

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone. -

Are you trying to use the phone in Bahrain with a supported carrier there? I suspect not. If you try to use this phone outside of Bahrain, you won't have FaceTime. This is done to prevent folks from simply crossing the border to purchase iPhones in Bahrain...FaceTime is banned in Saudi Arabia & the UAE. Sorry, but you'll only have FaceTime on that phone while using it in Bahrain on a supported carrier's network there.
