Front Row cant find my music

Hi,
Im pretty new when it comes to Mac. Ive added all my music and downloaded some from IStore, but Front Row says that it cant find the music and that I need to either import it or buy it from Istore. But Ive done this and still it doesnt work.

I too have found this. My sharing was already on. However, my issue relates to Audiobooks specifically. I get them from Audible.co.uk. I have a specific library for audiobooks and keep music in the standard iTunes folder and use the Alt key to choose the library when starting.
In the audiobooks library I have set up playlists for different genres. This works in iTunes and on the iPod I use for the books, but not in Frontrow. In FR all my non protected books appear but the protected do not unless I go to the specific Audiobooks folder. They all appear and work fine, but that means I have to know who wrote the book in order to find the book I want. In a substantial library this is long winded. It would be better if I could just choose a custom playlist.
Any ideas?

Cant find PS Extended CS6 in Download assistant?

I cant find it anywhere in the download assistant and don't know why not. I am not to savvy with tech specs and dont know what is preventing me from downloading it. Pleas help me. I have an ACER ASPIRE 3830TG TIMELINE X 13.3". Here are some specs:

Cant find converted music file using videora

It says convertion succesfull
So i go to look for it in my documents and it doesnt show up
I dont know hwta is wrong
Ive even tried to change wherer the video goes after it is converted
But i still cant find it

Restoring backed up itunes library - itunes cant find my music HELP

Hi guys,
Im hoping someone can help me as im currently puling my hair out...
Just bought myself a new laptop after my old system got a virus, i followed apples guid to backing up my music to an external hard drive and can confirm all my music is safe, however upon following instructions to restore the itunes library for use on this pc, i have hit a brick wall, it seems you need aa degree to get itunes to work correctly..
I copied the itunes folder as directed to the desigated path under users and chose to replace the itunes folder saved on my c drive. Now itunes is displaying all my songs and album art work etc, but when i try to play the music it cant find the original file??? This is driving me insane, im desperate for some help.
Ive even looked into ituneswift but i cant use it as its looking for a .twf file which i dont have?
Can someone please instruct me how to get itunes to find my music, it works if i click the file but it wont work if i select the song through itunes.

Somehow just got it all working again!! wooohooo, just chose the path to locate the original file and itunes then ask if id like to search this folder for the other files i said yes and now it seems to be back working woohoooooo

i put the music on my ipod but when i look for it i cant find it i can plug it into my computer and it will play off of that and when i look at the folder it shows it in there but when i unplug my ipod and attempt to listen to the music i cant find it on my ipod

How can I find my music files. I had over 300 songs and now their gone only ones left are 3 songs i had purchased in itunes. The music was my own files from my cd collections. THey are not on my computer and they arent on my iphone any more/

See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash.
Has anything else changed, i.e. are the rest of your documents and settings as before?

Help...cant find my music

I love(d) my ipod and everything was going really well until my little girl got a new computer for Christmas. Tonight she has tried to download somthing from her new machine on to my ipod and now I can only access the new stuff she has downloaded (and not my huge library from the original machine). When I plug it back into the original machine it just updates what she has downloaded and the ipod still does not show any of my library. I am absolutely gutted!
The music is still on my original machine...why does it not show on the ipod. It seems what she has done has overidden it.
Can somebody please help..I am lost without it but I am a complete ICT novice. Simple instructions please!!!

It would help if you said exactly what steps you took to get your music from your old computer to your new one. Also where your music was located i.e. was it all in the iTunes Music folder or was it in other folders in My Music - this tends happen if you saved music outside iTunes.
The exclamation marks mean that iTunes can't find the tracks.
Note that one thing that can go wrong is that your account name is not exactly the same as it was on the old computer.
The default loction for iTunes music files is:
c:\Documents and Settings\<youracountname>\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music.
You can see that the accountname is part of the location.

I cant find the movie i recently downloaded please help asap!!

I recently downloaded a movie on itunes and when it had just finished downloading I shut down my computer. when I turned my computer on again, my movie wasn't there. It's not under downloads, movies, purchased. Its under nothing. I went onto the store and tried to buy it again and it just said: 'you have already purchased this movie, are you sure you would like to buy it again? if you cannot find it in your library go to store>check for available downloads.
And that is what I did, and I still cannot find it anywhere. not on my ipod, my computer no where. And my version of itunes on my laptop and on my ipod are both as updated as they can be.
Please help me

It sounds like it was probally not quite done downloading. I have had this happen to me too. I suggest that if your country allows it you try redownloading the content through the purchases page. If the movie is not available there you should contact support.

Even though you can have up to 5 authorized systems to play your purchases on, store policy states that you can ONLY download ONCE. You will need to move your office purchase to your home computer by a secondary method such as burning data discs, a flash drive, or external hard drive.

Used migration assistant--cant find my music files now????

I transfered all of my pictures from my old macbook to this one and found them, then I did the music from itunes and now I cannot find those files.
I know they transferred because my hard drive has much less space. Where else can I look for these files? I even searched "itunes" and ".mp3" in the hard drive search box and it doesn't come up with any of my old music..any suggestions?

The files should be in /Users/your_name/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music - if you've changed usernames with the migration they are possibly in another User/name/Music folder ?
The extensions are probably .m4a and if you use Finder/Find (or Apple F from the Desktop) you can search for them that way too.
