My Mac uses OS X still the I cloud is not on my sistem preferences...my mac is a 2007 I did all updates and still can not see...I payed 40$ for I cloud and I am not able to use or see

That "edit option" info is for older versions of Firefox.

If you are using a Mac the option to de authorise is under the advanced tab on the menu bar in iTunes I would expect the authorise option to be in the same place if your Mac isn't authorised.

The same way you would sync with any other version of iTunes.
Connect the device.
Select the device.
Select Sync.
In the new version of iTunes, the sidebar is disabled by default. With a device connected, it will be listed in the upper right hand corner.
If you want the side bar back, type Cntrl + S.
