I cant get a password reseting email from apple?!

Hi everybody,
I really need some help if you have some time. Two months ago i made an app store acount and reedemed an gift card worth 15€.One month ago i forgot my password and since then im trying to reset my password via email because i forgot the questions.I am not receiving any email for password reseting and i dont know what to do.Please help me and sorry for my bad english.

Not receiving the email is the same problem my wife has had this week
Her account got disabled for Seurat reasons and she had to go to iforgot to get a new password.
Half a dozen attempts and no email. The prompting security questions don't work either and she still has no access to her account, so any solutions would be appreciated

• Don't get password reset email from Mozilla

I filled in the 'please reset my password' form 3 times and still do not see any password reset email. Over the weekend all my bookmarks disappeared and the solution apparently is to logon and perform a Sync reset. But I can't do that without my password. How can I get my new password link? I use gmail and my spam folder has no reset email. Is the Firefox password reset service working?

I forgot to mention for future finders of this error report. If you click on the 'Server Status' button that appears at the bottom of your FF screen (I'm running v15.01) you are taken to a web page showing there is supposedly nothing wrong with the Sync servers and a link to send in troubleshooting information. That link is[http:// http://blog.mozilla.org/jv/2011/10/03/help-mozilla-services-operations-debug-whats-wrong-with-sync/ http://blog.mozilla.org/jv/2011/10/03/help-mozilla-services-operations-debug-whats-wrong-with-sync/] and if you follow the procedure and send in the info it sounds like they are supposed to follow up with you debugging your Sync issue. So far the follow up has not occurred for me.

• Blackberry ID Password reset email doesn't contain a link to reset password!

I'm having the same issue that this guy had in this forum (which doesn't seem to have a solution?): http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-PlayBook/Blackberry-ID-Password-Reset/m-p/1745415#...
Basically, I'm trying to reset my Blackberry password for my Blackberry Curve. I get a password reset email when i request it, but the email does not contain a link to reset my password. The ENTIRETY of the email is as follows:
"This email has been automatically generated. Please do not reply to this email.
If you have not previously indicated that you wish to receive emails from Research In Motion Limited and/or its affiliated companies regarding exclusive offers and updates about BlackBerry products and services and you would like to do so, please click here.

Does anyone know what the problem is? It's not my web browser distorting the email -- i've tried retrieving the email from Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer.
Solved!

That is very strange indeed...with only 2 possible causes I can think of.
1) Your email app (on your PC) is blocking the link that is included in the email...many email apps will do this and sometimes you must override them. If you have an alternate interface to use (e.g., GMail webmail interface versus Outlook), then try the other and see if that helps. Depending on the email environment (e.g., private corporate email system), it is also possible that some gateway along the path is stripping out the necessary link(s) as a security measure.
2) The reset email facility is actually broken, and the email does not contain what it is supposed to. If that is the case, then it requires formal attention from RIM. The only way to achieve that is for you to contact VZW and have them escalate your case into RIM.
Good luck!

• Support forum password reset email not received...

I'm trying to login to the support forums. I have my user name, rsmith79. What I thought was my password apparently isn't. I tried multiple times to get a password reset email sent to me but I haven't received one. And yes, I'm using the correct email address to request one. I was stuck having to create this new account. I want to get access to my old account. Please help.

Have we got a password reset feature now then ?
I had not noticed !
* EDIT yes link is https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/users/resendconfirmation
and I imagine that may only work with the correct and original email account.
You only seem to have made one other post [/questions/816588], but that is now old and unanswered and was closed by this forums automated systems.

• HT5622 seems like every 3-4 days I get an email from Apple saying your password has been reset,if you didn't change it go to etc'

ipad 4
ALmost every few days I get an email from Apple saying your password has been changed.... if you didn't change please go to Apple and change your id password
I have had to do this for the 7th time in 4 weeks

If you are receiving e-mail messages that indicate that someone is trying to reset your Apple ID password, they may be phishing scams. Do not click any links in those e-mail messages, and if you make the mistake of doing so, do not provide your current Apple ID password on the page you are directed to.
Unfortunately, in this case, there's nothing to be done except treat those messages the same way you would any other spam.
The other possibility is that someone is actually trying to reset your Apple ID password. This may be due to a malicious attack, but more likely, it's just someone who thinks your Apple ID is actually theirs (due to a typo, faulty memory or something similar) and is trying to "regain" access. In any case, this is merely an annoyance, but you can put an end to it by enabling two-factor authentication on your Apple ID. This will require an additional piece of information that only you will possess in order to even start the password reset process.
If you are actually seeing your password getting changed, and are having to reset it yourself to regain access, you are being hacked. This could be because your password is not strong enough to withstand a brute-force attack by a botnet. It could also be because the attacker already has access to your e-mail address, and is able to intercept the reset e-mail and complete the reset process. Because of that danger, you should change the password for the e-mail account associated with your Apple ID. You should also change the password for your Apple ID, making sure that it is a strong password, and enable two-factor authentication as mentioned above.

• I keep getting emails from Apple support about changing my password.

I keep getting emails from apple saying someone is trying to reset my password when I have not done such a thing. A couple days ago after the 4th email I decided to reset it myself just incase. Now im still getting a email from apple stating that someone is trying to reset it.

Apple do send out an email if you change your password that is genuine
You could change the password to see if the emails are genuine or phishing by getting a genuine email from Apple
No way otherwise if you cannot tell if they are genuine or otherwise

• I am receiving emails from apple to reset my password that I have not requested

Hi wondering if anyone could help. About 3 weeks ago I received an email from apple that my apple ID was used to download an app that was not from the device which is normally used. This was initiated from the United States, I am in n.ireland. As this was not me I followed the instructions & changed my password. However the past 2 days I have received 7 emails from apple on how to reset my apple ID that I did not initiate & am concerned that someone is trying to get access to my apple account. Has this ever happened anyone else? If so how did you deal with the problem as I can't seem to get through to apple to discus the matter. Thanks

That's very scary. They might do it, but I personally have never had Apple contact me re id's except on their site when signing in. I suggest you DO NOT respond until you have a phone conversation with Apple security. They can verify if they sent you the e-mail and why.
While it's very possible it's true, again, I suggest you not respond until you speak to someone at Apple. I've often read here that when people sign in they are not allowed to because "someone else has used the id" type of statement.
Also, you should be able to go to the app store and see what apps you have downloaded.
Though it could have been a free app, have you checked to see if any were bought with your id account?
I've gotten these types of e-mails from places like USPS and FedEx which look amazingly authentic and were from their website. I also received an odd e-mail from my cousin in Ireland last year that clearly was not from him. It was also sent to others in his family in Ireland. I e-mailed him that I only opened it because it had a .ie, but suggested he change... Days later I received mail from 'him' - same name, but at yahoo.com.
Again, I would call Apple. You can also report it at [email protected], but I would not settle for that given your situation. If nothing else, call Apple sales (sales depts. anywhere answer fast) and ask them to transfer you to security. Apple will not want anybody accessing their name, and while it's unlikely, it's not impossible that it is someone phishing.
Hope this helps and can you let the support community know your results by posting on this thread when you're done? Thank you.
Hope this helps.

• I received an email from Apple telling me how to reset my Apple ID password but I know I didn't request it. Anyone else? Suggestions? Should I just ignore it?

I received an email from Apple telling me how to reset my Apple ID password but I know I didn't request it. Anyone else? Suggestions? Should I just ignore it?

Did the email contain your name? Never click on a link in an email like that and do no enter any personal info after clicking in an email.
There have been quite a few people getting these emails. They are a phishing attempt to get your personal info.

• Why i cannot see email from apple to reset my password?

why i cannot see email from apple to reset my password?

We are fellow users, we won't know why. You've checked the spam folder as well as the inbox on your email account, and if you have a rescue email address on your account then you've checked that email account as well ? If you still can't find it then try requesting the reset email again
If re-requesting it doesn't get it either then try contacting Support in your country, they should be able to reset it for you.

• Why don't I get an email from Apple for an Appleid reset?

Just updated new Itunes a few days ago and my Apple ID which had a credit balkance on it cannot be recovered.
I have gone through the password reset process at least 20 times not but I never receive an email from Apple with the reset link.
HELP PLEASE

That is because you are using a POP account. POP is all local as far as sending emails goes and local for receiving unless you select to leave a copy of the incoming mail on the server for x number of days.
Only with a IMAP or MS Exchange email accounts does sent & incoming emails get saved on the server.
Actually with POP your sent mail never sees your email provider server, except in that it passes through it on its way to the email address you have address the email to.

Tried with my birthdate but that is not accepting. Called apple 8002752273 and guy told me Apple has had problems with this for weeks. I checked itunes an of course there was not itunes email help available. Anyone have email for customer relations or phone# or know how to fix this?

"Could be weeks before anyone gets back to me?"
Where did you get that nonsense? Your involved question sounds like a hoax. Regardless, the phone number for Apple Customer Relations is: 800-767-2775.
