Try This
Go to apple.com>itunes>download imac+windows>the top of the next page offers selection for windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit . DON'T push the downoad button
Further down the page there is a list of software requirements including "itunes 64 bit installer" link.
If you haven't tried this, do it. I think the process is self directing after that

It was copied over when you synced your iPod. Ignore it, or you can manually put music on your iPod via playlist. The following discusses iPod manual mode.

I did the next step per help instructions but had no success.

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.)

If you tried following the steps in the document, where did you run into problems? That document also shows the four types of shuffles. Which one do you have? Which method from that document are you trying to use?
NOTE: In iTunes, if the sidebar (along left side of window) is not visible, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.

Cant get Palm desktop to download for a Tungsten-E

hi guys, I have an OLD Tungsten-E, and I cant get the Palm Desktop to download to my new(er) windows 7....any ideas?

When you attempt to HotSync, what happens? Any error message?
IIRC, the internet connection part was nothing important.. Are you saying Palm Desktop does not appear on your computer if you choose "No."?
Is the HotSync Manager running? Can you see the red and blue icon in the tool tray of the PC?
Might try a "Clean Uninstall"/reinstall of Palm Desktop.
Here are the clean uninstall instructions.
You should first make a copy of your data to have just in case something happens. You can find your data files by going to C:\Program Files\Palm or Palm One. Highlight your Palm Desktop username and right click and copy. Then go to your PC desktop, right click on a blank spot and select paste. You can skip the first step above because of the data not being current.
Now you want to uninstall Palm Desktop and remove everything that has to do with Palm Desktop from your computer. Like the above folder, delete the Palm folder. Once this is done, you will need to delete some registry keys from your PC Operating System registry.
Word of warning, going here and deleting the wrong thing can cause your PC to not start up, crashing and deletion of programs and data. If you feel you are unsure of yourself, see if you have a friend that can help you or a PC technician that you can pay to help you. This will show them everything they need to delete. To retain your current Registry settings, we need to do a backup of the Registry.
On the PC, go to start and run type "regedit" without quotes
Highlight MY COMPUTER, go to File --> export. Should pop up with a Save As box. Current location is fine should be in My Documents or you can change to a location you will remember. In the file name box, type "Regbackup[todaysdate]" i.e. Regbackup07072008. Next, the hard part.
The easiest way to make sure your working with the correct key, highlight the key i.e. palm quick install, and press delete on your keyboard. It will ask you, are you sure. Say yes. Do the same thing for all keys below.
If you make a mistake, stop what you are doing. And call a PC technician. BUT do not turn off your computer.
The reg keys are as follows (Note: some of theses reg keys will not be here but if they are delete them)

Next reboot your computer
Then reinstall your Palm desktop from the CD and do a hotsync. If it asks you for a username and you synced your device before, put in 'test" if you did not sync before you create a hotsync name.

Hp touchsmart, win7, cant get tv tuner working...

I recently upgraded to windows 7 (32-bit) from vista (32-bit) and cannot get my tv tuner working for the life of me.
I have an hp touchsmart iq517jp.......
I'm not exactly sure which tv tuner is in my computer. It's difficult finding information for this specific model because it seems it's an iq500 model that has been tweaked here in japan before being sold.
I have tried installing Pixela, Aver, and Hauppage drivers. The Pixela one is the only one that actually installs properly, but windows media player says the capture card can't be found.
I tried installing StationTV, the software that came installed on the computer in windows vista, but it also says it cant find a capture card and therefore cancels the installation.
Has anyone else had and solved this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of wasting my little free time after work rippin my hair out.

Your system is with Pixela TV Tuner card. They did not release Windows 7 compatible drivers for this tuner. Alternately you can install Windows Vista drivers in Compatibility mode and get the tuner working.

Cant get my printer to work with Windows Vista

I have a Deskjet 932C printer. I bought my computer 2 years ago and my printer worked just fine with Windows Vista. We just moved so I had to take everything apart and put it back together. Now I cant get my software to install that came with my printer and when I plug the USB cable in its not reading that there is new hardware. Can someone help me???

If the printer was installed previously then you would not detect new hardware when plugging the printer in. Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and check for an existing Deskjet 900 series printer. If this printer exists in the list double click on it and check to see if the printer is shown as offline or paused. If so correct the issue by clicking the appropriate line.
If the printer does not show as installed then install it as shown here. If this does not correct the issue then unplug the USB cable, then go to the device manager and delete the ports associates with the USB printer and allow the system to rediscover the USB devices.
