I cant get incoming texts to show emoticons?

i really want things like to show up when I recieve texts, but I can't get them to. I have downloaded and installed the emoji app, but that just lets me send the emoticons. help please?

If that doesn't help it may pay to tear down and reinstall iTunes in the following manner...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Look no further help is here! Let's get those text messages going on your computer. You need to download the desktop client http://www.verizonwireless.com/wcms/consumer/products/verizon-messages.html to your computer to use Message +. Were you already using Message + on your phone?
What phone do you have? You mentioned the phone crashed. What issues are you having with the phone?

Do you have your contacts in the Contacts app? How are you syncing your contacts, via the computer, or iCloud or other cloud service?

If i understand what you are saying then you are seeing the WiFi indicator after connecting but Apps are saying that they are not connected to the internet?
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be to restart your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

How do I get Alt text to show in DreamweaverCC

Please excuse my ignorance. I would like to know how to get the Alt text to show when hovering over images. It use to happen naturally in Dreamweaver 3, but now in the latest CC version it doesn't seem to work. I use it to link images to pages so when some one hovers over an image the finger points but no text appears? Is there a setting I have missed as I can't type in the code as I'm a novice? Any advice would be appreciated. The pages are all htm.

Use Image Property Inspector dialog in Dreamweaver CC. There is title field, whose value will be displayed on hovering over the image.

If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of iTunes window) is hidden, go up to the menu bar. Under View, select Show Sidebar. With the sidebar visible, does the iPod appear there under DEVICES.
Actually, if the iPod is formatted for Mac, Windows cannot read it, so I think iTunes should automatically prompt you (when you first connect it) to do a Restore, which will reformat the iPod's hard drive for Windows.
When you connect it, what do you see on the iPod's screen?
Is it connected to a USB hub, or directly to a USB port on the computer?
Is the iPod seen n Device Manager or Computer Management or other Windows utility?

yes, i can truely appreciate the frustration....hang in there. there are some really good people here that will help you, the delay time in posting seems long at times....i know.
ok, i have a few directions to go, but lets start with them simplest first and look at what your settings are. Go to system preferences and click on file sharing. Click on the button that says "Firewall." look and tell me if the fire wall is on. (you can tell by: under the firewall button, look to the left corner of the box. it will say firewall "on" or "off". if it is on, there will be a button immediately below it saying "stop" and if it is off, the button will say "start". if the firewall is off, turn it on.
now look in the list that says "allow": look if there is a an item called "iChat AV" if there is then we need to check all the port settings, if there isn't, then we need to create one. Note: there may be other items called iChat Bonjour or iChat Rendevous.

Getting help text to show on fillable form

Hi all,
This might be really simple but I've created a few forms in FormCentral and I've included the 'help text' on a few fields. When I save the form as a PDF and open with Adobe reader, I get the purple bar across the top stating 'Please fill out the following form', however the help text does not show up anywhere to give guidance?
Is this a particular view setting in reader?

The help text won't display in the purple document message bar at the top, but should appear as the tooltip text when the mouse cursor hovers over a field that has help text set. It works that way for me.

Cant get software loop to show in piano roll to edit

               Ok creating a song and made a software loop and i want to loop it straight through it stops at 49 at the original color so I can see it in the piano roll now that i looped and dragged it to 120 its a different shade of color and i cant see it in the piano roll. So i can edit this one off beat snare and kick,
             I tried dragging regions / copy and paste but it not keeping the same tempo so i revert or undo to last saved or last undo
               Ok the question........ how do i get the whole region to be the same color so it will show in the piano roll editor with no splits or differnet region I know merge but whet do I do ..... its probably simple as **** but I am new and trying here

Incoming texts not showing on Bluetooth system

My i-phone 5s incoming messages are only randomly appearing via Bluetooth. Occasionally I receive one which displays in unread messages. When I move from unread to read it remains. Thereafter the text message disappears when I negotiate between unread/read. " No message using this filter " No historical record of any texts remain in the system Is there some incompatibility between Bluetooth and i-phone 5s set-up? My vehicle is a BMW F10. Thanks for help.

I have now run the latest Bluetooth updates on the info system today. Still the same problems- texts either not appearing or disappearing after being opened up in unread messages but not showing in all texts. Also no sound notification for incoming messages.

I am running an older airport extreme v7.6.4wireless router with a new netgear rn104 server and cant get the server to show in the MacPro hardware or the on the wireless router

How do I adjust the settings to get this Netgear server to show and use the Airport Extreme and show up on the hardware of the McPro?

The server is never going to show on the airport extreme.. it is not wireless.. unless you happen to run v5 airport utility. Most are running v6.
Is the Netgear setup for dhcp .. the display on the front of the netgear should be showing its IP address.

What IP is your Mac getting?
I presume both are plugged into the AE by ethernet.. if not please do so now.
To open anything but Apple products like AE you open the IP in the browser.. simply type that IP on the front screen of the NAS into your browser. If it doesn't connect you have the setup wrong and something is not using DHCP.. in that case tell me exactly what you are getting.

Cant get DTS Connect to show when I install the DD Live and DTS connect pack

I bought the DD Li've and DTS Connect Pack yesterday. After installing and restarting machine I go into the Creative Console Launcher and I can only see DD Li've available and not DTS Connect. My receiver send out and supports DTS fine as I been using it all the time with DTS supported video files. The only way I can get DTS now is if I disable DD Li've so it picks up the signal. I'm using Win XP Pro.
