I cant get the new 11.1.14 version of Itunes to install
I just got an iphone 4s and when I plug it into my computer my itunes tells me i need to update it to the newest version and that I cant do that at itunes.com. So I have downloaded it but when i click on it to install it, it doesnt do anything. my old version still works just fine but it wont let me install the new one onto my mac. All i want is to put music on my phone... what do i do?

One way is to Drag and Drop the Entire iTunes Folder from your Old Computer to an External Hard Drive...
Then Drag and Drop the Entire iTunes Folder to the location of your Music on the New Computer...

when trynig to get new music from itunes a message pops up on my computer saying the disk cannot be found. I dont know what this is, now i cannot not only get the new music i just purchased i seem to have lost all of my other music i already has as well. Thanks for all of your help. Took the old girl in to a techie at London Drugs and my HD had failed, simple mechanical failure after 5 years of useful service. They mentioned that it was a pretty massive failure as they were unable to extract ANY information whatsoever. For those of you wondering what the warning signs were: slowing down of all processes, especially opening applications; freezing up when running an internet applcation and browsing at the same time; occasional starting up with a flashing folder with the dreaded ? (which would restart the first few times once I disconnected all peripherals, including the keyboard); finally full failure with only a white screen showing upon start up.
I am getting a new HD, will reinstall from Time Machine and there will be peace in the valley. -

I have just moved from one PC to another. They are windows pc's not macintosh. When i installed itunes on the new computer it stated that I already had 5 devices authrorized for this account. I did a little reading and went in and deathorized all 5 PC from the account as I am sure it was a couple pcs ago and a few iphones. When I try and go in and authorize an account I cant see anywhere where there is a prompt to authorize the new PC. I go into store and all it says is that there are no devices associated to this account. What I would like to do is associate my new PC and my iphone to this account and hopefully restore from the cloud all of my music and programs.
Any idea what I am doing wrong here or how I can resolve this. Thanks in advance.

In order to get the Windows 10 to prompt installation again, there are a couple things that need to be done. We created an article here that discusses it. -

You can activate on up to 2 computers. If you have not used up the second activation, you can go ahead and install/activate on the new one and call Customer Service to release or reset your activations.

just started a new apple tv and also started using an iMac . I have itunes on the iMac but i cant get the apple tv to sync or find any settings to do so ! How can I get the iMac and apple tv to sync the itunes ? i have a internet connection between them , I have signed in to the itunes store on the apple tv and it shows that the apple tv is sharing my library from the IMac , but it wont sync and the apple tv has no content !

The Apple TV (with the exception of the Apple TV 1) does not sync, it streams everything from your library on your computer or from the internet. -
I have a mac book pro that i bought in late 2009. My current software is snow leopard version 10.5.8. I would like to get the new lion operating system but I cant without first getting the latest version of snow leopard. however when I go to update my software it doesnt show that any update is available.
10.5.8 is Leopard, not Snow Leopard. You need the Snow Leopard DVD;

Before you go to the effort to downgrade, go to the small icon with the arrow at the extreme upper left and select "Show Menu Bar":
Then from the View menu select "Show Sidebar" and "Show Status Bar". That may alleviate some if not all your complaints. If not, you can download iTunes 10.7 here:

I have just transferred elements 11 to a new windows 7 64 bit computer using the original purchased disc. Organiser is working fine and all my photos are there, but I cant get the Editor to open. It just says editor workspace is loading and then it eventually gives up.
Try opening directly from your desktop, by passing the welcome screen.
Go to Windows Explorer>C drive>Program Files (x86)>Adobe>Photoshop elements 11. Right click, then Send to>Desktop
Double click on the shortcut and see it will open. -

What do you mean 'cant get the music that is in my music lib' ?
If you mean that it's on your computer's iTunes library then connect your device to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync your music to the device.
If it's an iOS device, then depending upon what country that you are in then you might also be able to redownload some/all of your past iTunes music purchases via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on it -
