I cant get the trial version to run.

I downloaded the trial version of audition, but I can not get it to play.

It could be any of thousands of things and without more info it's impossible to help.
Installation problems...even on the demo version...get free phone support from Adobe. You'd probably be better off ringing them and letting them talk you through things rather and weeks of exchanged messages with other users here on the U2U forum.

What version of Premiere Elements is involved and on what computer operating system is it running?
Do you now have a purchased version of Premiere Elements?
You can not remove the Adobe watermark from an export from the tryout, be it an export of a file saved to the computer hard drive
or a burn to disc product.
But, you can remove the Adobe watermark from a project file (.prel) from the tryout. To do that, you open the project file from the tryout
in the purchased version. Then there are two possible scenarios
1. You go to Timeline Menu/Delete Rendered Files - the Adobe watermark is gone
or
2. You do nothing after you open the tryout project file in the purchased Premiere Elements. Many of us, including myself, have found
that opening the tryout project in the purchased program causes the watermark to disappear spontaneously.

OK, I understand that new versions make use of facilities that come with new versions of IOS, but there is/was a version that runs on 3.1.3 and therefore, I assume 4.2.1. Where can I get the (old) version that runs on my IOS?
The app store seems to ignore all legacy equipment owners, and want me to spend loadsa money to get the latest shiny toy. This is standard for Apple. While there is little official mention of the software support lifespan for equipment, typical support has been about 4-5 years for computers. It strikes me that newer items, especially mobile devices, are not built as sturdily nor do they have the hardware upgrade capabilities required to keep up with newer systems. When we bought an iPhone 4S we were told by the person in the store we'd probably be looking at a newer model in two years. The iPhone 3G could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years old, putting it well into.
As for app availability, Apple typically pulls old software versions from its site when new versions appear. If it is a non-Apple app then I guess it is up to the vendor. It is indeed tiresome but it is not at all unusual. Since I only ever run used Macs, I download current versions even though my computer won't run them, stick them on a hard drive, then I have them when I upgrade to a newer used computer. If you run older equipment you have to learn a different mode of operation to exist with the Apple 'new and innovative' but 'forget about the old' philosophy.

Not getting the Trial Version

I selected the button to download the Trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for my Mac. The Download Assistant indicates it is downloading Premiere Pro so I closed the Assistant. How do I get the Trial version?

I keep getting the trial versions after I've paid for the Creative Cloud service.

I'm currently paying for the creative cloud service and I've downloaded a few of the programs (Indesign, Incopy, Photoshop, Illustrator) but when I open them they are coming up as trial versions. I uninstall the ones that were the trial version and reinstall them and I keep getting the trial version, What should do to fix this problem?

So if you download the trial from the trial page at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop you get Photoshop CS6 Extended. When you then remove the trial and reinstall from the Adobe Application Manager with your trial Creative Cloud you only see the Standard version?
If this is so you can try reviewing your installation logs by following the steps listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html. Although your 30 day trial has already begun. I would recommend for now you just remove the installation and install from the trial page so that you can try the extended features.

Why do I get the trial version box appear?

Over the past week or so, every time I open an application the Adobe CC trial box appears asking if I would like to carry on with the trial. I have been a subscriber for over a year so not sure why I get this. I have to quit it every time for each application...any ideas on how I can get rid of it?

The latest version of Illustrator requires 10.7 or later. Could to please click on Apple icon on top left and then About this Mac and provide the exaction version of OS you are using.
If you are using MAC 10.7 or later, Try downloading Creative Cloud Desktop app and sign in and try to download from there.

Adobe doesn't offer trial versions of the Acrobat.com online subscriptions. But, if you try it out and find that it's not what you are looking for, you can cancel within the first 30 days for a full refund.
We do offer 30-days trials of Acrobat, however, so maybe that's where you saw the free trial message. You can download the Acrobat Pro trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
