If you have an early iPad 1G it won't run iOS 6 or later. You're running the latest version of iOS - 5.1.1.

If you tilt the phone then the screen will tilt too! Seriously though, double-click the home button, where the icons appear at the bottom swipe to the right until the music player controls are displayed. At the left is a button with a circular arrow. Yours probably has a padlock symbol in the middle, if so click it so the padlock goes away.

On Lightroom4+5 I try to remove some of my pictures permanently, cant get the window with the tree delete buttons. I use a Mac. It must be a simle thing...but i fell over this one a few times...

Switch to folder view, grid mode (or if not grid mode, context menu of selected photos in filmstrip).
If you want to permanently delete pictures whilst viewing a collection, consider splat-delete instead:

I cant get the log in window for iCloud on my iPad?

I can't get the window to come up. All I get is the initial sign up window. I have an apple id , account, etc and they work fine. I can log into icloud on my iMac but can't even get the window on my iPad. IOS 6 WIFI FIX FOR NOW!!!!!
The only quick fix for now is to reset your Network
Setting/General/Reset/Reset Nettwork Settings
Make sure you copy your password somewhere. I did so on Notes so that i could copy and paste.
This will work for a while but the problem keeps coming back in a day or so but at least its a quick fix.
I have the problem on both my Iphone and Ipad 3 with IOS 6
The only other permanent fix is to go back to IOS 5 which I had back when I tried IOS 6 bata and had the same problem which I thought Applw would have Fixed.

If you have iOS 5+ on your iPad (Settings > General > About > Version) then you should have a Settings > General > Software Update option for direct update on it, otherwise you can only updatevia your computer's iTunes.
To update via your computer, connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand sidebar of iTunes and selecting 'Backup' (on iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC)
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

There is only one way to do this.
Sign out of iCloud on the device. You will need to use the password for the Apple ID it's currently signed in as to do this. If you don't know it you will need to reset the password or get the original user to sign out.
That is your only option. This is a security feature to prevent people stealing iPhones, erasing them and setting them up as their own.

Purchasing iCloud storage will not help you. You are out of memory on the physical device itself. You can try a reset (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). If the Apple appears, the reset is successful, and your Home screen will display shortly.
Don't waste your money purchasing additional iCloud storage. It won't help you.
Instead, go to Settings>General>Usage, and under the Storage section at the top, see what is taking up so much memory. If you need to delete some Apps, click on the App in this screen and it will take you to a screen that will allow you to delete it. Then you can just click the back arrow at the top to return to the Usage screen and select additional Apps to delete.
If your photos are taking up a lot of room, then import them to the Mac or PC you sync with. Once you have verified they have successfully imported, you can then safely delete them from the device.
If your Mail or Messages is taking up a lot of memory, delete any mail or messages that contain videos. They take up a ton of room.
That's about all you can do to get your memory consumption down. Check that screen and manage what you have on your device.

Hi, My Ipad2 could not connect again with the wireless after updated to ios 6.1.3. Pls what can I do?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button
