I HAVE INSTALLED THUNDERBIRD TO USE WITH MITCHELL 1 INVOICING PROGRAM AND WE NEED TO SEND INVOICES BY EMAIL SOMETIMES..I INSTALLED THUNDERBIRD WITH NO ISSUES BUT WHEN I PUT MY EMAIL ADDRESS IN IT SAYS USER NAME OR PASSWORD IS INCORRECT...WHEN I WENT TO MY EMAIL ACCOUNT FRUSTRATED..GMAIL HAD SENT ME AN EMAIL ABOUT PREFERENCES AND I CHANGED IT AND IT SHOULD WORK NOW BUT DOESNT...I AM TOTALLY FRUSTRATED WITH THIS..PLEASE HELP ME ...I CANT TAKE MUCH MORE...LOL .....LAURA

Hi! Please help me. I need to know what to do.
This just happened today. Before, everything was fine.
Starting today, when I type someone's name in the To box of my email, no email address comes up. I have to go to my address book to find out what it is and then type it in manually.
I want the old system back where I typed in the first few letters and it offered me email addresses from my address book.
What do I need to do to get it back?

Check to see if the feature is turned on.
From the Menu Bar select '''Tools-Options-Composition-Addressing
No menu bar? Press the alt key.
Forget about going back to the address book from the write window. Turn on the Contact Sidebar.
Open a Write window and press F9 to turn it on. Find the contact that you want and double click on it to add to an address box or select multiple contacts and use one of the Add To buttons at the bottom.

The link for the word 'HERE' directs to a Evergreen School District page, which outside of Mobile Me and/or Aperture. Your school district network might be intercepting the request from Aperture and displaying the 'network authentication page' that you see, instead of the email. I would get with the IT department to see if they can help you get around this.
Have you also tried using the 'Tell a Friend' feature from another network location, like starbucks or your home?

It's a really bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it. No-one is goingto email you.
Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. I could be wrong, but it sounds like Facebook imported to your contacts. I have the Xfinity app on my new ipad, too, but none of my stored contacts from the online version are showing, only what I manually entered into the iPads contacts are there. When I did add the FB app, I did not grant it permission to push and pull from my ipad (not a fan of FB knowing every detail about me), so that may be where our difference lies. You could try to open the app and change your privacy settings, or delete it and then reinstall without granting permissions to integrate.
I'm sure someone here with a lot more knowledge then me can probably diagnose your issue better, though. Good luck!

Since I upgraded to firmware 22.007 I can't get a list of suggested email addresses in the "TO" field from my contacts addressbook.
I've tried to hard reset, and also tried to overwriting of the firmware at the dealer but no help!
Also tried to erase my account at email.nokia.com
I use Nokia Massaging and NOT exchange.
My mailbox is Gmail.

There is nothing in the registration screen which should prevent you from entering any valid email ID unless and untill you are mentioning the same ID in both the "E-mail" and "Confirm E-mail" field. Could you please confirm that?

Change the password on that e-mail account. It's possible that your account has been hacked/spoofed and spammers have used it to blast out junk, leaving you to 'pay the price'. If it's one where you can contact the company, contact them and ask them what's going on. (if this is g-mail, yahoo, hotmail, don't bother, there's no way to contact any sort of support)

Definitely works ok from pc.
Have deleted and re-established account a few times now but still the same.
I have actually given up and added gmail account which is working fine.
Sends and receives no problem.

We are not remote at all. Sitting in the fantastic Pavilion Hotel in Phnom Penh. Another couple here having trouble but not bigpond. Hotel staff have tried to help but to no avail.
Giving up and stick with gmail until we get home then start trying to get resolution.
Problem actually existed on a personal wi fi network in Melbourne before we left so I should have tried to resolve it then.

You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use the Adobe Reader or set to Always Ask.

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
Do you have any Restrictions (Settings>General>Restrictions) set that would prevent syncing those songs?
