I cant install itunes it says msvcr80 is missing and I keep trying to re install but it said the same thing

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I am running Windows 8.1 and installed itunes and it worked fine for about 30min. and then icloud started and the itunes and icloud just quit. Tried to run itunes again but got a message "a problem occured and needs to shut down" then it shuts down. I have tried reinstalling but get the same problem. Tried uninstalling and reinstlling but it does the same thing.

my iPhone4 is showing no service so i power down but when i power back up it says to plug into itunes and restore, i had this same issue with another iPhone and apple replaced it but its doing the same thing on this phone any help would be apprecaited

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 80070BC9, or some other number? (If they're another number, what number are you getting?) -
I try to redeem an iTunes GC and I get a "Session Has Timed Out" Message. The same thing happens when I try to download a song, after I'm taken to the SLA page. I sent Apple Support an email. They told me its software on my computer restricting access to my Internet Connection, but I haven't installed any new software since my last purchase from the iTunes Store. I try to download music I purchased and it won't download. It comes up and says "download error. Tap to retry." Every time I retry it does the same thing. Why is my phone doing this??

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer. -
Bug Report iOS 7 iTunes. Since it is repeatable on 3 iPhones and 4 iPads here, I'm sure others are experiencing the same thing. Apple, might want to take a peek at this. When a tv show or movie is deleted from Videos, the Videos app shuts down instead of returning to video playlist.
Restarting videos works and looks like video is getting deleted.

Ever since I updated to the IOS 6, I no longer can play my music in the car! It is plug and play! It just sits there saying connecting and nothing happens. A couple of my friends have said the same thing. Any ideas? Help please!
Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
this problem occurs when there is a short circuit in the phone... you most likely got it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip.. -
I updated my Iphone4S this week to the newest IOS 7.1 and now everyone who calls me says the calls are not clear, muffled. Is there something I can do to clear this? 4 people in 4 different states that called me all said the same thing.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Why do you need to access your email? To reset the password?

If I try selecting the app, it will only allow me to switch from "waiting" to "paused" back and forth. I have tried deleting and reinstalling but I get the same screen (darkened icon and the "waiting" message. I have tried turning off and turning the phone back on. No luck. What is going on?!
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to resume the download.
And you did try rebooting like this? Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons -
Well basically like it says in the question, when the installer runs through to what I assume is near 90% completion, an error message pops up saying that the installer is unable to find/run a program it needs, and as helpful as it is, the installer neglects to tell me what program I need to download/install for the iTunes installer to complete, as it is, I am at a total loss for how to resolve the issue, I couldn't find anything about this on FAQ's, but if it's there, please let me know; however, I'm welcoming all advice, thank you.

Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version and delete the Firefox program folder to remove any leftover files.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop and close Firefox.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data because all profile folders will be removed.
