    All the  apps having .sis extension cannot be installed. You must install the one that suits your phone. Go to nokia store and see if the apps are getting installed or not. or else go to http://m.opera.com or http://m.nimbuzz.com and see if the files that you download from there are getting installed. the file that you tried to install might belong to other symbian series or version.     Please be aware that Symbian S60 2nd edition use .sis whereas Symbian S60 3rd edition uses .sisx files.
    Also go to Application Manager > Options > Settings and set "Online Certificate check" = OFF and Software Installation = ALL.
    Secondly try resetting date on phone to January 1 2007 first and if that doesn't work try December 31 2006 as Symbian certificate may have expired; reset date after installation.

  • Cant install .sis & .jar format games on N73.

    I tried to install n73 compatible games on my N73. But it cant.
    After begin of the moving installation bar, before it completes, it says unable to install(The file type was .sis or .jar.).
    But Application softwares and themes in .sis format can install. But .jar type Applications and games cannot install due to the warning message of "unable to install. Please tell me what do i do.
    My N73 Software version is v3.0638.0.0.1, 10.31.2006. RM-133.
    Please help me....

    Just to inform y the SW version y hav is not up-to-date.
    Latest is version 3.07.xxx, released in Feb,2007.
    For yr problem: make sure the sis files are signed for series 60 v3 and for the .jar files, have y tried to put that files on yr memory card's any folder and then installin them from the phone?

    hi i have a nokia e71x that i just got recently and tried to install x-plore (in .sis format) and i kept getting "unable to install" error.  i also tried installing a NES emulator (which was also a .sis file) and i got the same error message. i've read countless posts online where people have been able to install both of these on their e71x so whats wrong with mine?
    (by the way under application manager, the software installation setting IS set to all and not signed only)
    can anyone help me?! 

    Backup the phone memory, and soft reset. The code is *#7370#, enter lock code when prompted, default is 12345.
    Now your phone will be in factory state. Install the apps that you want to, and then restore the backup. But do not restore the User-files and phone-specific backup when you do.

    I received a brand new 6120 classic yesterday
    when i Transfer .SIS files via bluetooth and USB to my phone, they dont install,
    the following message comes up,
    installation of (file name.sis)
    is not suppourted
    Is the something i need to update or install in my phone

    I suspect because they are compatible with series 60 2nd edition.
    Your phone is on series 60 3rd edition.
    So, download apps, etc that are compatible with Symbian 9.1/series 60 3rd edition or 6120 C.

  • Cant install itunes (file security error) PLEASE HELP

    I uninstalled itunes because i could not update it. now when i try to install it it comes up with this

    Delete the folder C:\ProgramData\Apple\Apple Application Support then try again.
    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.     Hi, I have a legal .ipa file that's very important for my job.
    I paid for it and sent my iphone codes.
    I open it in Itunes but I dont know how to put it in the Iphone. It gives an error message during sync.

    Ok lets try to be more precise:
    Im a taxi driver and the app is specific to get taxi runs from my radio-taxi service.
    They asked me for the UDID code. I sent it.
    They mailed me the app. A .ipa file about 9,9 Mb. I tried to unzip it and I'v seen the Payload folder with the app inside.
    I doubleclicked the .ipa file and ITunes opened up. The icon for the app is now between the Iphone apps but the icon is the generic one and the genre too is generic.
    Now I dont know how to put the app in the Iphone4 so I set the apps sync to manual and I'v to choose all the app that must be now copied to or deleted from the Iphone. I do this and include the Etaxi driver app.
    I apply the changes and sync. The sync goes well for all the apps but when it comes to the Etaxi app theres a generic error message like "was not possible to intall the Etaxi app"
    Maybe its not the way to install an .ipa file? Or something else?

    The 5320 is an S60 3rd edition device. Probably you were trying to install sis files meant for S60 2nd edition. As korngear pointed out, S60 3rd edition is not backward compatible with S60 2nd edition sis files, and hence installation is not possible.

    Dear all, i need help with my new Z10 which I have about one week.
    I installed some apk files via amazon store or directly from sites. I also installed some applications using Apk Extractor on my second android device and simply moved apk files via bluetooth to my BB Z10.

    So resolve this TIME consuming problem, i had another look at that support page and this is what i did to fix it Thank you for your help 99jon for the link.
    Copied the elements folder to the root of the HD, then renamed the folder with the installer files contained within to c:\PSElements9Installer then ran the setup.exe as administrator and hey presto, it worked and fully completed the install grrrrr.

        Had the same problem with PSE10 Copying it to kthe root of c and renaming it to PSElements10Installer Worked perfectly.
