I have been trying to install flas player 10. I have tried all the instructions on tne site and it will only install flash player version 6.0 I have windows XP and I use firefox can anyone help me?
Try creating a new Administrator User Profile on your machine try to install the Flash Player there.

Do you have crash reports with a "bp-" prefix that were submitted and that show a crashing thread?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

I've "successfully" installed the latest version of Flash Player, as recommended by Firefox. How do I find where it "lives" so that I'm certain it's in there. Also, do I put the App icon that appears on my desktop, in the trash now? I am on a Mac and I am not technically inclined.

Since installing the latest version of Flash Player I receive a constant "Plug In " failure message. I have re installed, uninstalled, sent error reports, checked my system, followed trouble shooting instructions. It still does not work. Is the upgrade a dud? Why can't I install the newer version of Flash when I already have the older one?
My virus software is turned off. I have Flash currently on my computer. In the troubleshooting page I can see the clouds in the picture so I know my current flash is working. I went into the internet settings for add-ons and the flash is currently enabled. Why can't I install the newer version of Flash? I tried the run and save option and it still didn't work. I can see the installer in my downloads folder. But, all I get is a black blank box that does nothing. What else can I try to get the installer to actually install the updated version of flash?

Adobe story online isn't loading. I just get the loading bar going on for hours. I've restarted my browser, deleted my cookies, installed the newer version of Flash and still no loading.

I guess the other thing is a an online picture editing program told me I needed to update my flash, so I tried to install it several time but am not sure if it actually did. I recently updated to the newest version of Flash (17.0.0.134) and I have a MacBook Air, running OS X and I have Safari version 8.0.4. Ever since the update I can no longer select drop down menus or get Netflix to run properly. Has anyone else had this issue/know how to resolve it?
