I CANT LOAD PHOTOS ONTO MY IPOD PLEASE HELP!

I just got an iPod nano. I knew that i could load photos onto it, but I just recently got into wanting photos on it. I follow the directions in the ipod user guide on my computer, but when it says to go into ipod options, where it should have options for loading music, contacts, photos and callender, it doesnt have a section to load photos! So I have no way to put them on....I dont know if my iTunes knows that i have a nano or anything but does anyone know how to fix it? also would an error message saying 'Failed to locate supported file types or there are no photos found on this device', that constantly pops up when i connect my ipod to my computer, have anything to do with it?
Sorry that is so long....but if you can figure it out or know where something is that might help then reply!

hi i bought a ipod touch in october 2010 the one with a camera in it. i bought my first movie but i cant find it on my ipod just music and music videos. can someone tell me how to get it onto my ipod and watch it. thanks alot

Have you synced it to your ipod?
Go to the movie tab and select it.

Hello to all reading this, and thank you for lending me your time. first: please note that i did do all that i can (restoring, updating, formating, reseting, checking the discussions for s solution, asking friends, and so on) before handing my problem to the forum & my ipod is up-to-date with the latest version 1.4.1. Now, let me get straight to the point:
1) A couple of weeks ago i updated my iTunes to the latest version (i think it was version 7 or 7.1, not completely sure). Everything was working fine, everything was going great but after a couple of days something that i have never seen before appeared, the most horrible message i have ever received from a software before popped infront of my eyes as my iTunes opened, "...your ipod appears to be corrupt...". At first i didnt take it seriously because i thought a little restoring and reconnecting will solve the problem but i was sooo wrong. I did all that i could have done, reconnect, restore, update, format, "chk" the "dsk" if you know what im saying. succesfully that problem was over when i succesfully fixed it after a series of different tries, everyday!
2) By fixing the first problem i thought, "oh, now all i gotta do is just sync all my songs again and start doing what i do best, listen to my music, full time!". Again, i was wrong. So i left my ipod to sync all my songs then came back to it after a while with a joyful "ipod update complete" message infront of my face. And as i checked on my ipod on the sources list it was true, all my songs were on my ipod, then i also checked in the ipod itself via "My Computer" and found a series of some coded and some recognizable songs on it. When i disconnected my ipod though, the apple logo appeared and keeps on appearing as if i have reseted it and when i browse the ipod, i donnot see anything, it appears completely song free when iTunes says i am currently using 2.90 GB of my 3.77 GB with a list of all the songs on my ipod available and 45 MB of other, also windows says that 2.93 GB is used from my ipod. When i check the information on the "About" located in my ipod, it tells me that i have 0 songs, 87.3 MB capacity and 169 MB available.
* please help me if you can, i will be very thankful because this problem has been driving me craaazy! i actually sit on the computer and try to fix it for a long time. oh, and my warranty = finished!

The songs being "greyed out" indicate that your Nano is set to autosync with iTunes. If you wish to remain on autosync, then you will have to delete from iTunes first, then re-sync your Nano. If you wish to maintain the files in iTunes, then you will have to change your iPod preferences to manually manage.

Is There a Way to Load Photos onto an iPod Nano

I'm a Windows user who bought an iPod Nano for Music and Photos. Since there is no iPhoto for Windows, and maybe never will, is there another way to do it? If I knew the file format for photos maybe I could find a way to load them. Otherwise, I wasted my money buying a iPod Nano. My huge company is PC committed. We have no Apple computers. I don't see this type of PC community using Apples and using work PCs just to get photos. That's to much to keep up with. I'm already having problems keeping up with Unix, Linux, Windows plus mainframe O/S's.
Maybe someone will invent a PcPod for Windows that fits in my ear.

I think most Apple users will ignore your question. First of all, I suggest you read the documentation. If you choose not to; rely on that all powerful two button mouse (Apple users are only now beginning to recognize the advantages of this type of device; and Intel chips).
right click on the iPod nano icon in iTunes;
select iPod options;
click the photo tab;
check the appropriate box;
That should work.

I have been unable to load photos onto my iPod.

When I try, it optimizes all of the photos, but it only loads a few of the photos I selected, 5 out of 100. How can I load the photos? I checked the format and they are jpeg. What can I do?

The obvious question is do you have enough free storage space on the iPod?

My story (again) is that I can load my new premiere elements 13 and add photos and videos into the library however when I tick the videos I want to build the video I get asked to sign in, which I do and then click agreed to the licenceing agreeemnet and then thats it. No load of the Editor so basically I can only get into the organizer

Cant get my photos onto my iPod photo

OK heres the thing... I dont have itunes. I cant have itunes. Not becouse I dont want to I just cant have it. But with a lot of pain I managed to get music onto my iPod. Now i was wondering if anyone knew anyway to get photos onto my iPod without useing the softwear giving (note: If I could use the softwear trust me I would)

Cant load photos to Ipod----Vista issue?

I've searched tons of threads and forums with no answer to my problem.
Got a new Ipod(30 gig w/video) and HAD to buy a new computer to even use the Ipod.(even though old machine met min specs)
No problems with music but I cant load photos I've managed to get one or two to load after 20+ tries , but they've been corrupted and of those attempts that did work(sorta) only 3 or 4 of about 20 pics transfered?
so my questions are
1- do I HAVE to use Adobe photoshop? other App.s work?
2-I'm not getting the "optimizing" message,is there a box I need to tick for this?
3- do photos have to be sized down or at a certain res. to trasnsfer clean?
4- Is this a Vista problem or Itunes 7.2 or what?
and the rhetorical question-how can either of these companies put this stuff on the market with all these problems people are having? I see tons of people having real problems its not all idiots that dont know how to read instructions! GRRRR this stuff makes me mad.

1. no , you don't need photoshop
2. ok , ive got mine up right now . click on the " photos "
on the upper screen , just to the right of center . check the " sync photos fron; " box and extend the box next to it where it says " pictures " and use " chose folder " to find where you want to get the photos from . at the bottom of the screen , theres a " include full resolution photos " box , i check it , then click apply and it should work !
thats what i did. and i just redid it just to make sure .

Loading Photos onto iPod Nano

I'm trying to load a few photos onto my iPod nano. Right now, Itunes is telling me I have 53.6mb of free space, and windows says the contents of the folder I'm trying to load is only 6.61mb. But when I try to load the photos, I get an error message that there isn't enough room.
Is there something I'm missing here?

Loading games onto my ipod

The directions online say to click the games tab and sync the games in order to load them onto my ipod but there is no games tab only summary, music, podcasts, photos, and contacts, I am just curious as to how I am supposed to get the game I purchased onto my ipod. I have updated my software and am running the latest versions of itunes and ipod software and I am just lost as to what to do to get this game on my ipod. Help please!

You're posting in the first generation nano forum. If you actually have a nano, then you are unable to play the games downloaded from the iTunes Music Store - the games are only compatible with the fifth-generation iPods. Sorry.

No longer able to import photos onto my iPod Video 80GB

Hi all
I have had my iPod Video 80gb for about 2 months and at first enjoyed viewing my photos on it. The day that V7.3 was released & I upgraded I experienced several problems, some of which are already well documented on this forum. One problem that nobody else seems to have mentioned, is that I can now no longer import any of my photos onto my iPod. I receive the message...
“Some of your photos including filename.jpg were not copied to the iPod Caraline’s iPod because they cannot be displayed on your iPod.
As absolutely nothing had changed on either my iPod or my computer (other than iTunes version) I presumed this problem was tied up the new version. As I was having other problems with this version I decided to uninstall and re-install V7.2. However the problem persists. I even tried deleting everything from my iPod and every iTunes file, folder & cache and starting from scratch again with V7.2. I have also re-set my iPod back to the factory settings.
It does not seem to matter what the source of the original photos was, either from camera, or scanned, nor does it matter the size. I have spent hours experimenting, and absolutely nothing I do seems to solve this problem.
I am totally stumped as to why photos that I once could copy onto my iPod now are deemed undisplayable. I feel terribly disappointed as my iPod now seems crippled and does not perform a function that was a main consideration in buying one in the first place.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For some reason none of my programs seem to work to load photos onto the nano. When I tried to load photos through itunes (latest versions), it froze the computer. Do I have to purchase another program to load the photos?
