Can some one finally help me out there!
I cant log into the icloud from my laptop. Its running Vista 32bit, with service pack 2. The icloud is 2.1.3 for vista.
I enter the log in details and password, and then the 'daisy wheel' comes up, and that's as far as it goes!!
I know the log in details are all correct as I use itunes match on ipad and iphone. I can also share photos between iphone and ipad without an issue.
The Apple store weren't any help (Bath) as its not a Apple laptop!!

You may be to late to start - new android phones have the same protection and by June next year all of them will. Best of luck. If you really apple customer you can find your original receipt and or request a copy and use it as proof to unlock phone. If you didn't purchase from Apple, you still have option to attempt
to look through your icloud accounts and verify that neither one is the one that you need. And if it is not your account and you didn't purchase directly from Apple then you are the victim of Apple's attempt to render stolen/lost phones useless, to bring down theft. Question if you deserve it is besides the point, but at the very least you should have learned to manage your apple/icloud id by now being a loyal apple customer you are...

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

Bad idea.
Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content.

WRVS4400N problem logging into the routers administrative console with vista OS

I have a problem that is OS specific on the Linksys WRVS4400N Gigabit router. When I try to login to my routers admin page using VISTA IE7 I am prompted by the NT dialog at which point I type the correct admin UID and PWD. I am then prompted over and over again until it either gives me an access denied or I am successfully logged in; furthermore if I do log in successfully I am prompted to login again whenever I click another tab in the admin console and the same thing of repetitive login attempts occurs. I have tried turning off UAC, changing intranet security levels to low to no avail. I have the latest firmware update of 1.00.16. Any help is greatly appreciated also anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Hi first time poster and forum user although I have owned and used PC's since 1988 and have always managed to get things configured correctly until NOW
I too am trying to log into the admin console of a WRVS4400N and have tried both browsers (IE9 and Google Chrome) that are installed on a laptop running Win7 which in turn is the only thing connected to the stated device via ethernet port 1... when using the suggested https://192.168.1.1 (which I know is the correct IP address because 'ipconfig' reveals that it is the default gateway and that it has assigned an IP address of 192.168.1.100 to my laptop).
I hope I have convinced you all that I am not a complete dummy... but this thing just refuses to let me in... gives me the login dialogue box in either http:// or https:// format and just let's me enter admin and admin any number of times and does little else - though occasionally it has gone to the 401 error screen - I cannot be sure of why - it is possible that I did mis-type something in my frustration
Has anyone got a clue?

ICloud shows 'no devices' even though my iPhone has the FindMyPhone app installed and is logged into the iCloud account. How can I get the phone to show up?

My phone signs in OK with iCloud, and iCloud syncs the calendar etc. OK, but FindMyPhone app does not work. It is iinstalled and logs in to iCloud OK, but iCloud shows 'no devices'. I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times with no change. The phone is connected to the internet, FindMyPhone is turned on, and location services is turned on. What else can I do to get iCloud to find this phone???

Your phone should automatically re-appear in "Find my iPhone" when it next connects to the internet. There's nothing you can do to force it.
So, from that support document you've confirmed that none of the following are true:
The date on your device is incorrect. This can be set in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Your iOS device is currently off or not connected to a data network (Edge, 3G or Wi-Fi). Wait a few minutes and try again.
Your iPad (Wi-Fi only), iPod Touch, or Mac is currently off or not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

If my email address is now invalid, how do i change it when i cant log into the current account?

My parents deleted my old email address that i originally used to log into itunes. I can't download any apps or do anything involving my itunes account(like upgrade to ios 7) on my iphone because of this. Do i have to make a whole new itunes account? If so, how can i transfer all of my music from that account to the new one?

WRT54GS cant log into the router to change settings

Yes, I tried leaving the username blank and admin for password and it wont accept it. Im frustrated.

light is blinking on the router & then do a complete network power
cycle i.e., unplug the power cables from the modem & from the router &
then plug in the power cable to the modem first once all the lights are
solid green you could plug in the power cable to the router & check out

Logging into an iMac from a Windows Vista Machine

I have set up both File Sharing and Printer Sharing on my iMac. My Windows box sees the iMac, but I can not figure out the format of the user id and password I need to use. I have tried differant versions of my Apple login wothout success. When I fill in my account name, I keep Login unsuccessful. I noticed that upon the return from the unsuccessful login, Windows has added my windows macine name to the front of my apple ID (machinename\applieid).
What format am I suppose to use?

Yes, according to the Services tab, I have Personal Fiel Sharing, windows Sharing and Printer Sharing all checked. When I look Accounts in system pref, My Name is first name space last name. Could the space be the problem?

You can't see your iCloud backup on icloud.com. You can only access the backup by restoring it to your iPad.
You can import your camera roll photos to a computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083, then transfer them to a USB memory stick if that's what you're asking. You can also upload them to another cloud service so they are backed up, such as Dropbox. (If you open a free dropbox account, you can use the free dropbox app to automatically upload your photos to your account.)
