I cant login imessage and facetime

I m a new user on iPad , I have tired to login iMessage and Facebook , however , it didn't worked !
I have typed apple id and pw , but I haven't passed to varfty part .

iMessage only works between other iOs devices like other iPads and iPhones. iPad has nothing to do with your Facebook login you will need to set that up on Facebook.

    Ditto.
    Try to turn off the iCloud and iMessages, reboot, and turn them back on.
    This has worked, but not for very long.   Expect to repeat the procedure often until we get a fix.

    Before I make this topic, I read a lot of topics about the same problem as mine and I cant fine any solution. So my problem is: after updating to 8.1.2 for my ipad air, I have to sign in my imessage and facetime again and it says: "Imessage or Facetime activation. An error occurred during activation. Try again."
    What I have done is
         _ Set Date&Time automatically,
         _ Set My info to my contact number
         _ Reset network setting
         _ Sign out icloud and sign in again
         _ Sing out apple ID and sign in again
    So, is there any way to fix the problem now or we have to wait from the engineers?

    I can't sign in to Facetime and iMessage..Done reseting the password of my apple ID.restored iPod Touch as well but still cant sign in to iMessage and Facetime. Please HELP.

    I tried go to date and time preferences and change set automatically to on. Don't works.
    Also I tried just rebooting my router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. Don't works.

    After I installed Avast antivirus I was not able to login to imessage and facetime.
    I tried resetting PRAM, booting in safe mode and removing invalid certificates from keychain
    when i try to log in the program gives me the following message:
    Could not sign in, please check your network and try again
    everytime i try to login this message appears in the console
    imagent: ApplePushService: Unable to bootstrap_look_up(com.apple.apsd): Unknown service name
    I tried removing the com.apple.apsd.plist and restarting the computer but that didnt work either
    PS: I already uninstalled Avast (with the provided uninstaller). Also, I can login to my imessage using another macbook in the same network.
    I really don't want to reintall the os so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    Back up all data.
    Quit Facetime and Messages if they're running.
    Step 1
    Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
    from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (either may not exist):
    Caches/com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent
    Containers/com.apple.FaceTime
    Leave the Library folder open. Log out and log back in. Try FaceTime again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
    Step 2
    In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with any of the following strings:
    com.apple.FaceTime
    com.apple.imdsmsrecordstore
    com.apple.imessage
    com.apple.imservice
    Move them all to the Desktop. There may also be a file with the name "com.apple.imagent.plist". Move that to the Trash.
    Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
    Log out and log back in. Test again. This time FaceTime should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. You may be able to put back some of the files you moved to the Desktop in this step. Relaunch and test after each one. Eventually you should find one or more that causes FaceTime to malfunction. Delete those files and recreate whatever settings they contained.
    If the issue is still not resolved, quit FaceTime again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were. You don’t need to replace the items you moved to the Trash. Stop here and post again.
    If you later decide that you don’t like the results of steps 2 and 3, you can undo them completely by quitting FaceTime and restoring the items you deleted in those steps from your backup.

    Hi everyone. My new ipad cannot send using imessage. Facetime won't work either. It has the same email ad as my imessage in iphone but i already turned it off and it still won't work. It only happend to me just now, i've been using it with for a month with my iphone. Before it was working with my iphone. I do not know why it wont send imessage and facetime right now. But other internet related apps work like safari and appstore and social networking sites.

    I already fixed my imessage and facetime. I changed the DNS setting of my wifi. Maybe you can try it too. Go to the wifi then press the arrow on the right side, look for the DNS portion and change it to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. I hope that will work on you too.

  • IMessage and Facetime Not Working - Cannot Log Into Apple ID.

    Hello,
    Some background: iMessage and Facetime are not working. Both applications are saying that I am not typing in the correct password for my Apple ID. Needless to say, the applications are wrong and I am using the correct password.
    Some background:
    1) This is an iPhone 5.
    2) It is running iOS 6.0.2.
    3) I am on Verizon.
    4) I am located in the continental US.
    5) I have a full e-mail address for my Apple ID username.
    6) iMessage and Facetime are both working on my iPad, using the same login information.
    7) All other applications that use Apple ID, such as the App Store, are not having this type of log in issue.
    8) This issue occurs regardless of whether I am connected to wi-fi or just the mobile carrier, or both.
    Troubleshooting I have tried to fix this issue:
    1) I have changed my Apple ID password. This did not work.
    2) I have changed my Apple ID username/email. This did not work.
    3) I have played around with Date/Time setting changes. This did not work.
    4) I have reset all settings. This did not work.
    5) I have tried hard restarts of the phone. This did not work.
    6) I have performed a restore from backup of the phone. This did not work.
    7) I have performed a full factory restore of the phone. This did not work.
    Apple Support is at a total loss on how to fix this. I have now had multiple frustrating phone support sessions with them with zero results. If you do some searching, it appears there is no way that anyone knows of to fix this issue once all the troubleshooting I have listed above has failed. People have had to acquire brand new phones in order for these applications to work again.
    Obviously this is unacceptable.
    There are a lot of smart people on these forums fixing tech issues like this. Anyone have any input?

    1) I have contacted Verizon and they are not blocking "premium" or 3rd party text messages.
    2) The Apple ID login issue occurs regardless of wi-fi network location, or even if I am not on wi-fi at all. Router settings are irrelevant to this problem.
    3) I have already played around extensively with date and time settings. This did not fix any issues.
    Any other suggestions? I had another call with Apple support and they are of the opinion that I may need to have the phone totally replaced, which is unacceptable unless it is free of charge.
