I cant make calls using siri,

hi all i am from Fiji and i can use Siri to send messages but when i command her to make a call she responds with 'Sorry i can't call the number" i even tried using the country code etc...

I am facing the same issue! I bought 5c few days back
and everything was fine till I updated the software 7.0.4!
Whenever am connected to wifi am unable to make a call and if someone tries
Calling me they get the message that my number is not
Reachable! When I go back to 3G the calls work perfectly!!
Please help me out since I use wifi more than my network.
Appreciate any advise on this

And just to expound a little more on Johnathan Burger's response, you selected this option to have access to the cellular data network which allows you to use your iPad where there is no WiFi network available to connect to the internet.

Can I force my phone to make calls using WiFi, even when wireless is available?

When I was in the UK a couple years ago I could make calls back to USA using WiFi, because the wireless service was incompatible with my phone.
When I was in the Dominican Republic last year, even though I used GrooveIP and Google Voice, I came home to a $400+ wireless roaming bill, I think because the wireless service there IS compatible. So how do I force my phone to make calls using WiFi, even when wireless is available?

A $400 bill would certainly cause my jaw to drop so I absolutely want to provide you steps to prevent this from happening going forward.
To avoid data charges you are going to want to make sure that Data roaming is turned off,http://vz.to/18oRFuS.

You need to contact your carrier and make sure that your account is provisioned correctly.

Connected to network, but cant make calls.

So my phone is connected to the network, but cant make or recieve calls or texts, as well as use the browser.
I recently dissasembled it, exactly how the videos said to on youtube, so im confident i didnt break anything when doing it, but maybe a connection inside or something is loose? Any suggestions?

Go to connections, and select Mobile data options. Run the diagnostic test.
If you can pass the tests Run the following:

HT4994 sim not provisioned what do I do I cANT make calls!!

Hi please help im frustrated, just got a new iphone4 all works well except at the top it says no service all of the time, in my settings it says sim not provisioned.
Am I missing something? I cant make or receive calls but everything else works fine.

Contact your cell phone provider, that is a carrier feature.

Cannot make calls using my Mac

I was working with Continuity and Handoff perfectly, yesterday I had to sign out my iCloud from my iPhone for a reason, when I connected it back I didn't noticed anything, but today, I tried to a call using my mac then I failed, it says that they must be using the same iCloud account, I removed the account from both devices, restarted them, get them connected again but without result, Handoff is working fine, I can receive call on my Mac (That's the weirdest part), but I can not make calls directly from my mac please help me. Even Messages, they stopped appearing on my Mac, and i cant receive new ones on it !

It will accept in-coming calls but if I try to call out, it immediately goes to "call-ended"I am sure its not carrier problem coz i have tried my sim in other phone to call and it works on other phone in the area.
Troubleshooting steps

I've been having the same problem for a long time ever since I changed to a new phone provider with a new sim which works with other phone except my iPhone 4. I just wouldn't make call but can send SMS and receive calls. Now, when I turned off 'call waiting' I could make phone calls. Thanks a million again!
P.S. When I turn on 'call waiting' again I could make call without problem any more. What a heck!

How do I correctly choose the number when using siri?
The issue I am having is this:
me: " call Tom Smith"
Siri: "calling Tom Smith, which number would you like to call?... Three: 07897332123 or work: 01811231234?"
me: "three"
Siri: "I am sorry I do not understand "three" which number would you like to call?
How do I tell Siri to call the number listed as "three"?

It might not be possible to get this to work. It sounds like, when you say "three", Siri is interpreting it as the number 3 rather than the word. You may have hit a limit of Siri's artificial intelligence engine.

Unable to make calls using my 8520 curve

Hi. I just recently had my device reprogrammed after that app Foursquare caused my device to be temporarily out of order. Internet,email,bbm,sms is working. Can even receive calls. I cannot make outgoing calls. I have rebooted my device but to no avail.
