I cant play music

please help, i got some new music so i erased all the tracks off of my creative labs zen microphoto, cuz i had some stuff on there that i didnt want, and i was gonna put a bunch of new stuff (and some old stuff) on there. So i erased all the tracks, and put about 800 song back on, now, i cant play any of them!? I go to "music library" then "artists", and then i select an artist...after that, none of the songs show up, and the screen is blank except for the background and the time. does anyone know how to fix this?thanks

ok, i went on ahead and did what you said...but i still cant see the tracks under the artists.. now alls i have is a big long list of songs in a sorta random order on one huge playlist...which is what i had before when i just selected "all tracks"? i'm trying to get it to where i can see the tracks by artist. ya know, where i select the artists name, and then it shows me all the songs that i have by the artst, cuz right now its just showing me a blank screen, for every artist.

Try to Reset your device.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off that shows up first).

2700 cant play music

my nokia 2700 cant play music using the nokia music player or videos from the web. It says 'not enough memory' with or without a memory card. Wat could be the problem how can l solve it?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
There are a few things you could do to free up the memory.
Move data that you want to keep to an alternative memory (mass memory or memory card, if available) or to a compatible computer. Remove data you no longer need.
You can easily do this either by using File Manager or Nokia Suite.
Clear the web browser cache to free some phone memory (e.g. select Options > Clear privacy data > Cache). Also, if there are applications which are not needed any more, uninstall them with Application Manager.
If the problem still persists, update your phone software and hard reset your phone.
Hard reset will wipe all settings, applications and files off the phone, so it's recommended that you backup of your phone before doing it.
To hard reset, dial *#7370# on your device. When prompted for a security code, default code is 12345. After this, just restore the data on your phone.

WHY IS THERE A Lock at the bottom of my itunes and i cant play music from my on my ipod video from my itunes...... but my computer read the ipod and i see the list of songs on my ipod video in itunes???? i cant play it ..... what does the lock means by the ipod info. at the bottom???????????????????

It means taht you're using auto transfer for the iPod. Anything on the iPod is also in iTunes, do you can play it from there.

Clocks gone forward now i cant play music

woke up sunday morning, my phone had put itself forward 1 day instead of 1 hour. so i reset the date to 28/3/10 . then when i try to play tracks on my phone which i downloaded from nokia music i get a message saying receiving activation key. but i still cant play tracks. if i put the date forward a day, i can. but this is a drag as i use the calendar quite a bit. this is the 3rd problem, sorry 4th, that i've had with the whole nokia comes with music thing and i'm beginning to feel like a very grumpy old man. help please, as my last post about my chareger pin being loose got no replies

I have moved all of my music from my laptop to a portable hard drive...need help :( cant play music

I moved all my music from my laptop to a portable hard drive, my hope was that i could just plug and play into my mabook air not the case...
I was wondering if anyone could help with the following, in a perfect world i would love to be able to keep the music on my drive (there is about 500 gb worth) and then when i want to play through mac to apple tv be able to just plug into mac and then be good to go, or if poss for itunes to be able to recognise the music on my portable drive...and for me then to play through itunes without adding it (as there wouldnt be enough space)...and to also have the capability to plug the drive into my windows comp and be able to also still play from there.
I dont know if any of this is poss...it all seems really complicated to me...and i am new to mac.
If anyone thinks they could help please get in touch!
my main goal is to be able to play my music through apple tv to the surround system in the house, and to be able to play music through my mac if poss, doesnt have to be itunes so long as i can air play or even better select through apple tv.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. If you put it in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)
Do not confuse (as you did) moving your whole folder and library with moving just media files as in

Cant play music from iPhone to computer anymore?

My iPhone 4S can not connect to iTunes, and play the music on the phone though the computer.
When iTunes 10 came out, this feature was included, I just tested it with my old iPhone 3G (iOS4) and it works.
On my 4S, the music is all "greyed out" while it is perfectly selectable and playable on my 3G.
Is this an iOS5 thing? is there anyway to make a 4S connect and play music though iTunes?
This was VERY useful, especically when at a friends or work computer.
*NOTE I have tested with both wireless and wired sync on my 4S
**NOTE This doesnt have anything to do with with "Manually Managed" music, as my 3G was not manually managed, (This was what they changed in iTunes 10)

I currently use Napster to go, I downloaded music and have played the music I downloaded...All of a sudden when I want to play music, I get the message "No license to plat. Sync license from PC" Any ideas whats going on with this?

okay but at least the problem is that the license is not transfered but you probably knew that already. I've never used napster so I'm not so sure about what you should do!

6300..cant play music files through music player.

I just got the 6300.
I transferred some music files onto my phone, but i cant seem to play them through "music player".
When i try to search for the songs.. through show "all tracks", they dont appear.
But if i go to my memory card, and play the songs out of there, then it plays, not sure which program it uses to play.
Can anyone help me out?

You need to update the library. In music player:
options .. music library .. options .. update music library
This scans phone and card memory for new tracks. When you see how long this takes, you'll understand why it isn't done automatically each time you start the music player

Since i upgraded to ioS 7.0.2 i cant play music videos from purchased albums on my iPhone. Why is this?

Music videos no longer play at all in ioS 7.0.2. it just comes up with the quicktime Q on the screen. the audio plays however.

Ok so why is it that if I am listening to music with itunes I cant even do simple things without it skipping and sounding horrible. Also every time I try to burn my music to a disc I get an error “unknown disc error 4261” *** is this. oh I am using itunes 6 as I heard that 7 was far worse than this brilliant piece of work. Now how come I can use windows media player wile I use adobe premier and photo shop at the same time. I have a farly decent compi so why is it that itunes cant do anything worth wile other than put music on my ipod. btw my ipod is going to go on eBay just as soon as I can figure out how to get my paid for music from itunes onto cd. I am trying to burn the music onto to light scribe cdr’s I did try some cheepo disks but that didn’t work so I figured it didn’t like the old disks and hey I can use the discs in my car so why not. Itunes has done nothing but **** me the f off since I got it and all I want to do is get rid of it but im sure they will not refund me the money for the music so I want it on disk and in a useful player like media player.

Suggest that you ask Sky what type of wireless security that is used on the devices that they provide.
Once you have that information, you can choose the correct matching setting when you configure the AirPort Express to "join" the Sky wireless network.
The "password" would be the normal phrase that you use to connect to your wireless network at the present time.

Cant play music videos

I just got a 4th gen iPod Nano 16gig. I have approximately 15 music videos in my iTunes library that work fine on my computer and old iPods, although now when I sync my new iPod, they wont play on the Nano. My screen just freezes.
Any suggestions?

Well this is surely very irritating feature of ipod. but the work around to this problem is. When ur ipod is connected to itunes. Delete the playlist named "Music Videos".Add the mp4 files to itunes, change the type to music videos. Goto the the video section on the ipod main menu.In the video section you will find the new section named "music videos" as you would see section named "Moviees" and "TV Shows". Music video section will contain all the media files labelled as type Music Video. The stupid part of ipod was even though you now have a music video section under video section, which when played plays video, these files still show up in Music section and when they are played, u can only hear audio not video. I guess IPOD engineers need to come up with some software update to patch this.

I just bought a new ipad 3G. While i've synced all my music library and podcasts on my ipad, i can't play any songs/ music as it says on my IPAD "NO MUSIC". I have set to sync all from my itunes on my computer to my ipad.

Attach the iPad back to your Compuer..
You need to tap apply after setting which music you want on your iPad. Then Sync again.

Itunes cant play music because of my "audio configuration"

im confused...this has happened to me b4 but i dont remember what i did.
