I cant play recorded videos n my 5230

hi guyz...i've bought a new 5230,n stocked it with lot f stuffs.now i cant play videos which i had been recorded.it got stuck after so,etime. The sound go streaming without any problem on the background!.am using the default real player. I downloaded certain mp4 videos,it doesnt have this problem too. Only recorder videos...suggest me a gud remedy.

Have you been able to successfully import these videos into iTunes? If so, use iTunes built in converter to convert it to a more iTunes friendly format. To do this, highligh the video and choose "Create iPhone or iPod version" from the Advanced drop down menu in iTunes.
When it has finished converting, try syncing the new version to your Nano.

How to play recorded videos using FLVPlayback component?

Hey Guys,
     I recorded videos using fms and i want to play them using FLVPlayback component. I've done some research but i cant find something
useful, I tried this code :
     flvplayback.source = "rtmp://localhost/appname/instancename/video";
     this code is not working. Am i doing it wrong or something? Can anyone please point me on the right direction!

Here, in the content path you need to put your URL, also make sure that the instance name exist and provide the FLV extension in the url.

Unable to play recorded video using BB multimedia api in other platform

Hi all,
I am new to Blackberry application development. The application I am developing it is required to record a video using multimedia api.
I am using
video encoding : MPEG-4
audio encoding : AMR
res : 320 x 240
Device using Curve 8250
It is the same encoding combination BB curve use to record a video from default recorder.

After recording it from my application I am able to play the video in vlc even in BB devices. But when I am trying toplay in android,J2ME and iPhone platform. It is unable to play the video..Can anybody help me out in this regard.

In my experience if windows media player plays it(the mpeg4), it will not be compatiable with quicktime. At least if you do not go installing the codecs to read ISO mpeg 4 (.mp4 is the standard extension that quicktime puts on the files). Another thing to check is if you are creating ISO compliant files. The mpeg4s that windows media reads by default are not ISO compliant. You also need to keep in mind that Quicktime is a simple profile mp4 and main profile mp4 player (although not all b frames are compatable with quicktime). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quicktime for a basic overview of the profile support. I suggest that you try playing the media with free softwares such as vlc http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ and mplayer http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html and check that the format and codecs are correct. Although they will play non standard files they will list the codecs in use (make sure that you are using ISO compliant standards as you can put more than MPEG 4 in mp4).

Cannot play recorded videos on C7

Hi there,
i am playing with my new C7, despite loving the phone and the possibilities, it seems to me it has hard to go over countless bugs.
I have recorded several video with the onboard camera and none will play. I have tried High definition, normal and 3gp. I go through the onboard video player and none will play. Nothing play even after shooting them when I press the play icon. It is very annoying. The videos are working fine as they play well on my PC.
For information flash video, such as youtube works fine from the internet. But I am unable to play the video I record of my kids... VERY annoying, any ideas?

I purchased a music video from itunes store, played video dozen times or so, then tried playing it once more and box appeared informing me that it cant play video as it damaged, have sync to itunes since to update but still wont play help

iPhoto has the ability to do a custom export of a slideshow in mpeg-4 format. Create the slideshow and then click the Export button at the bottom. Select the Custom Export... option in the resulting dialog. Look for the Export: menu and from it select Movie to MPEG-4. You can select further customization from the Options button.
I am presuming you have the latest version of iPhoto. I don't remember how much of this earlier versions could do.

Play recorded videos

I am playing flv clips using server-side action script so all
clients see the same content at the same time regardless of when a
client connects. When I did this in my lab enviroment it seemed to
work correctly. Now I have deployed the solution to a production
quality server and have found that is playing recorded flv’s
faster than there recorded time. For example, I have 60 second clip
that FMS is playing the clip in about 6 seconds. Is there away to
control how fast FMS plays a recorded video? Basically, I want the
server to play the video in real time.

Since you mention Firefox, I assume that the original problem is with Internet Explorer?
If so, check if that malware has the "kill-bit" set for Flash Player: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3432049#3432049
If you find that this "kill-bit" is set in your registry, don't remove it manually (unless you are very confident editing the registry); post back here, and someone will post an easy way to remove that "kill-bit".

Cant play youtube videos!

When I try to play a youtube video, It shows a black screen for couple of seconds (no buffering icon either!) and then suddenly the progress bar just jumps to the end as if it has finished playing the video. This happens for some youtube videos but the same videos can be watched in IE without any issues. I tried clearing the cookies and history, but didn't work. I am on the latest adobe flash. Is there any way to fix this? Below is a youtube video that I am trying to play but firefox doesn't wanna play it!

I think its an add-on problem, do you use any downloaders, it may have fetched the video and inform FF to stop downloading.
Try to use firefox in safemode.
Tell if you don't know how to start FF in safemode

Cant play CNN video

I get how this question thing works now, heres the question.
My new and expensive imac came with a preinstalled link to the cnn new site. How do I play the video footage on this site, it just plays on every other computer I own.

CNN in it's infinite wisdom provides much of it's video content in Windows Media Format. You CAN run the Mac version of WMP, but it doesn't seem to have a plug-in for Safari, and the streaming video they use won't open in the WMP application standalone player. Oddly enough, for some of their content, they use QuickTime. My advise - complain to CNN.

Cant play yahoo videos

This problem has started after a reset of my Firefox browser. After resetting the browser I wasn't able to play ESPN or Yahoo videos. I upload adobe flash player and that fixed the problem for ESPN but I'm still unable to play yahoo videos. Is there something I'm missing?

Firstly i passed to Linux from Windows, after that i started to renew my computer and i got a few bookmarks. A few days, i realized Youtube doesn't play. I got flash player again, and again.. At last ı could manage to play first video on youtube. I have to close the browser to play anathor video. Now I have only chance to play video on youtube without closing the browser..

Does it work if you temporarily disable and re-enable the Flash plugin?

Is that the latest 11.2.202.236 version for Linux?
Does it help if you install a Flash 10.3 version in the plugins folder in the Firefox Profile Folder and only enable that version?
You need to create that plugins folder yourself and copy the libflashplayer.so file or a symlink to the file in that folder.
