I cant play video on youtube, Dark screen and flash logo in the middle
Hallo, I have problem with youtube, if i want to play some video, it show me black sreen on thw place, where should the video be, and in the middle is flash logo, i updated flash to newest version, but it still doesnt work.
hello YTnotWor, this appears to be caused by the flashblock addon that you have installed. as an alternative you can also set the shockwave flash plugin to "ask to activate" in the firefox addons > plugins section...

Very recently, my computer stopped opening quicktime when I click on a video clip in iphoto. I have quicktime X, and it still works to play videos if I open quicktime and then search for the video. How do I go back to quicktime automatically launching from iphoto?
Well since I do not have iPhoto 7 I can only guess what may be: As far I can remember up to iPhoto 8, iPhoto insisted on Quick Time Player 7. As I can see you have Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6) and there Quick Time X is the standard playaer. Basically Quick Time 7 is not part of Snow Leopard.
Can you please check if Quick Time 7 is installed under Applications->Utilitis (in 10.6 Quick Time 7 if presenet is installed not under Applications - there Quick Time X is - but under Application/Utilities).
If not: insert your Snow Leopard installation DVD.
Once the installer opens, double-click on the Optional Installs folder
Double-click the Optional Installs.mpkg package
Click continue.
Select the option for QuickTime 7 then click Continue to start the installation.
If it is there you may try to move the iPhoto prefernce file to another folder and let iPhoto create a new one.
Please keep the old file until you are sure that iPhoto works how it should.
The iPhoto preference file can be found under your home folder then Library then Preferences and there
com.apple.iPhoto.plist
As alraedy mentioned do not delet this file, since if something goes wrong you can put it back. -
I just cant watch videos on YouTube or Facebook after updating to ios8.0.2. Can anybody tell how to fix that?
Differing sites use slightly different standards for videos, there are possibly other posts about this sort problem see for instance [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/790642 this one] . You may see a suitable answer in one of the other threads.
It is also worth noting Internet Explorer will use different FlashPlayer plugins, even though the version numbers may correspond with those used by Firefox.

Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support. Do you experience the same behavior in the release version of Firefox for Android? Nightly is a beta version and can end up broken from time to time.

Cannot play Video in youtube via Safari and Chrome on IPAD 2 on new iOS 6
Can someone help me and explain why I cannot watch Youtube on Safari or Chrome?.. I try to find updating Flash and there is no way around I can download flash.. I was reading those old topic and they said it could be the flash palyer but I try downloading but it say your device is not supported.. IPAD is useless without Youtube.. Please bring Youtube apps back.. comon Apple.. whats is going on with ya guys..There are millions of people use Youtube..another monopoly tactics?.. everytime I try to watch,, it say this video is currrently available.. Did anyone manage to solve this problem? The same issue on my side. I cannot play videos, doesn't matter if it is youtube application from google, third party application, chrome or safari. It always shows: this video is currently unavailable.
I tried:
- Settings->General->Reset->Reset All Settings
- Holding Sleep and Home button for 10 seconds to reset
with no success. -

i got rid of all the flash player {adobe}from files,i did go then to disk utillity an pressed the first aid its all explanitry once your their,{to tidy up} from there down loaded flash decompiler, with another browser of which not sure what good that did, however,the other browser was the blue background firefox3, logged out of safari, an proceeded to you- tube of which did come up with the quote about needing adobe,i did as usual pressed the link, pressed download for pc, an a bloody video appeared an went from their following the instruction of which this had not happened b4,i have kept both browsers,been to you tube an others an it works, hope this helps, good luck,

You don't. THere are some browsers that enable flash. Puffin, iSwiffer and Skyfire are ones I see recommended. However if you aim is to view youtube videos, just get the youtube app. If you dont' like it I've also seen Jasmine recommended for youtube.

The video plays fine but when I try to watch full screen, the whole screen goes white. The right-click menu comes up and I am able to chose one of the options but the corresponding window does not appear the screen remains white. If I click on the screen the video stops and starts (I can tell by the sound). The escape keys returns the video to the normal size within the browser page and the window for the option I chose from the right-click drop down menu appears over the video.
Flash and other of your plug-ins look a bit dated, please review [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting%20plugins#w_updating-or-re-installing-your-plugins Updating or re-installing your plugins], perform a plug-in check and update as needed.
See if the problem still occurs with the latest Flash version. -

Looking through the thread, it seems like several different problems all manifesting themselves in the same way. Some people had to disable hardware acceleration in Flash, others had to delete their profile, and others yet just had to clear their cache... makes no sense. -

I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about yourwith the Video not working correctly or green. Try clicking on the green screen, in the tab named Local Storage and put 10 KB and the green screen should disappear. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating as the graphic driver could need updating. Have you tried another browser? It sounds like you are unable to boot your computer to your desktop or log in screen. I do not know if you have tried these steps from the article you have up there, but that is exactly where I would start:

My IPod classic was frozen so I followed instructions online and held donw the Menu and middle button and the screen went blank. I now have a dark screen and can't get the IPod to do anything.

I have a Mac Air. When I go to view video online (youtube for example), the screen for the video comes up with a black square space where the video should play. But there is no pay button and the vidoe never starts playing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Shockwave and Flash are not the same. Try installing a Flash plug-in. Here's the latest: Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.183
