I have done this on numerous occasions but I think that my Iphone has a defect. After many tries, reinstalls, deletion of content, changing content to be stored on external hard drive, deleting itunes and cleaning computer I managed to get all of the songs on and things seemed okay for a while.
The problem returned about a week ago after downloading a new album from Itunes. I now have 12.5k of songs leaving 10gb spare on Iphone which should be more than enough room to operate properly. Last night it seemed to be dowloading ok (after doing all of the above again for the umpteenth time) this morning it revealed that it had just synched 2.5k of songs and 18gb of "other" on the contents bar. it wont synch now as it says its over capacity. So the 18gb of "other" would probably be corrupted data that means it must corrupt each song as it tries to synch it.
The 2.5k of songs it did synch are working on the Iphone as is every song in the library on Itunes. I did completely delete the new album I bought and redownloaded it from the store then tried to synch just that album and it worked fine.
Just about time to dump apple I think!

The current 13" MacBook Air provides an SD card reader that reads SD type memory cards.
The Sony Memory Stick is an altogether different form of flash memory that the MBA is not designed to read directly. You will have to use a USB Memory Stick reader, purchased separately, and insert it into the USB port.

On the online tutorials I've seen it shows that when you create a new iTunes library it should open as a blank account, but that isn't happening.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Hello, I went in the notification center and disabled all alerts and sounds from my 2 mailboxes. It worked for my work mail account, but not for my private account. Something doesn't seem right here. If she has to use her email address as her contact address in order to message with you, that suggest to me that she either doesn't meet the requirements to use her iPhone number as the contact address (iOS 6 or later with an iPhone number linked to her Apple ID) or there is an issue with the way the phone number is being entered.

HT2953 When I burn a CD from iTunes, it doesn't play on my CD player! What am I doing wrong?

I see the folder on my desktop, and I click on burn to cd. I put in a Imation CD-r 1x-52x, 700MB 80 min, and when I take it to a cd player, nothing is on it! I tried the cd player w/ another cd and it plays just fine. I tried this 3x w/ just two songs...any suggestions?

Since this is purchased music, you have 2 choices only audio or data CD. I suspect you are burning to data CD & that's why your Alpine locked up. Data discs are only used for backup purposes. Go to your iTunes preferences, then advanced>burning tab, make sure you are set for an audio CD under the burning tab. An audio CD should be recoginized by any car or home stereo.

The short answer is.. No.
You need one of these...
... Or if your Camera allows for it, you can connect your camera to your Mac via mini USB cable. iPhoto should open automatically once it detects that a Digital Camera has been connected.
