Are you referring to your iTunes account? If so, you can just enter your credit card information and any purchases will be taken right from that account.
An alternative is to link your iTunes account to a PayPal account and any purchases will be deducted from there.
If you want to preload a certain amount of money onto your iTunes account for future purchases you can do so in two ways. The first is to purchase iTunes gift cards and then redeem them. The value of the card will be credited to your account for future purchases. The second is to send yourself a gift code for the dollar amount you want to add. Once you redeem the code (similar to a gift card), the value will be credited to your account.

If it's already been redeemed by someone else, then the card is valueless to you. Perhaps you can explain what it is you're trying to do in more detail and the problem you're encountering; then we can better advise you.
Note for future reference that marking your own post as being the one to solve your issue is a poor strategy unless you have indeed found the solution yourself and wish to close out your thread.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill ? If it's not then that might be the reason that you are getting the security code error : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

You can use the Tab key to select a search engine on the bottom bar and press Enter to use the search engine to do the search.

In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.

What sort of visa card, debit or credit ? As far as I know debit cards are no longer accepted as a valid payment method.
And what happens when you try to buy something, does the 'buy' button not work, do you get any error messages ... ?
