can anyone give me some tips I just got a Samsung galazy s5 and cant receive any emails .I have registered that email account but none will come up on the phone

Not receiving ANY emails at all (and I usually receive around 100 per week)

I"m not receiving emails and I think, from what I can tell, that I haven't received ANY emails in about 2 weeks, possibly longer. What's the likely cause?

I forgot my apple id password so i create a new one. the problem is i cant remove my first apple id because any time i tried to reset my password i never received any email from Apple.now the problem is my iCloud and ... have problem on my iPhone????

I have a problem with my I phone5 . after i bought an iPhone6 and i joined it to my iTunes , the same problem happens to my new Iphone.
i thought with the new Apple ID the problem could be solved. so i create a new Apple ID. now i have 2 I Phones with the same problem means i can't remove my first Apple ID because any time i try to reset my password and delete the Apple ID i don't receive any Email from APPLE .

Haven't been able to receive any email today

Is the network having trouble today? I haven't been able to receive any email on my iPhone today at all. It just says "checking mail" with the spinning wheel. I can access the internet, phone, and voicemail functions, but no mail. I have regular mac mail (no gmail or yahoo) so I can get my mail on my mac laptop, but not on my phone. Was working fine yesterday...any clues anybody? I did the big update last week and it has been working fine till today...

If you registered your iPhone with Apple using a support profile, try going to https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do and unregistering it. Also, try changing the password associated with the Apple ID that you were using for iMessage.

I have an iPad 3, iPad Mini and iPhone 5S and they are all sluggish on capitalisation using shift keys. I hope that Apple will solve the problem because it is driving me crazy.
I find using a Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 phone, which I also have, work as well as all the ios devices before the ios 7 upgrade.
It has something to do with the length of time that you need to hold the shift key down. The shift key needs to be held longer than the letter key for the capitalisation to work. For some reason, this is a major change in the way we have learnt to touch type on computers. I am having to relearn how to type!

You can send over WiFi, but it sounds as if you need to setup your Gmail account, or did you do this already?

As of 1:00pm Thursday, 3/1/12, I am no longer receiving any email, nor can I send anything out from my account. I am OS4.1.1, hoping to upgrade next week to Leopard (because my mac is not Intel-based), but in the meantime, it's non-functional.

Currently my iDisk works to transfer my larger files, but my email does not.

I think they're slowly nudging people to switch, .mac & MobileMe are going away about July, may as well set it up now.
I understand .mac mail will still come through.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
• Server name: imap.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 993
• Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:

The laptop's too far away from the router to be connected by ethernet. It's all wifi.
No separate server app on the laptop, it's all samba
The files are on a windows laptop and a hard drive hooked up to the windows laptop. The windows share server is pants, so I'd need some sort of third party server running. Maybe you weren't suggesting to use Samba to connect to the windows share though?
I'm glad that you've all understood my ramblings and taken and interest, thanks The way I see it, I can't be the only netbook user these days looking for this kind of convenience, and I certainly won't be once chrome and moblin hit the market.
