I cant remember my system password

I just bought a new MacBookPro and cannot remember my system password, what should I do?

Resetting User Password in Lion and Mountain Lion
Boot into your Recovery Partition by holding down the Command and R keys whilst booting.
When the Recovery screen appears, go to the Utilities menu and open Terminal.
In Terminal, type:
resetpassword
...a small app will open and allow you to choose the user for whom you want to change the password. If you are the admin, be certain that you choose your admin user. Type in your new password twice and give yourself a good hint. Click OK (or Done or whatever) and reboot, enjoying the use of your new, hopefully memorable, password.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.
If you cannot get this information from the seller

As you are using Snow Leopard, read "Resetting your original administrator account password" > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274 You have to start from the Mac OS X Snow Leopard disc, so you need an external optical drive or another Mac or PC to use Remote Install Mac OS X

i've got an old iphone4 from some years back and need to update the apps. the phone is registered to an old apple id and it asks me for the password which i cant remember. it sends me a password reset but to an old email address that i no longer have. so i am completely stuck and don't know what to do. please help?

That's too bad... restore as new. There is no way to "hack" or break the encryption.

Cant remember iCloud account password???

OK so... My boyfriend and I share an iPad. My Apple ID is currently being used for most things on the iPad but my boyfriend made the iCloud account in his email so anyways now the guy can't remember the password, security question answer OR the password to the email he used when he set it up so he can't receive the email to re set... Our iCloud storage needs to be backed up like immediately but we can't do anything about it giving this situation. Any ideas?? iCloud won't let us back up or even sign out without the password.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.

You didn't say, so I assume you are talking about your BB ID for use in AppWorld. As a secure system, you are responsible for your credentials to access it. Since you don't know those, you have only one chance left -- find the original "Welcome" email you received when you registered AppWorld/BBID and it has a link you can use to recover from. Otherwise, the only thing you can do is create a new BBID/AppWorld account, losing all prior purchases.

HELP!! cant remember my hotmail password

I need to reset or retrieve my hotmail password.the setup was easy.but I wanted to change the signature at the bottom of my emails.I managed to do that and set that a copy of the email will be sent to my bb email add everytime I sent one from my hotmail add.it become very annoying though lol.now I want to change it bt it keeps telling me that I must verify my account information.the address is right so it has to be the password.I have tried everything I think I would use and what I normally use bt it doesn't work.pls help me!!

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
