Add File Properties/Summary to render in After Effects?

Is there a way to add file description info to a render in after effects?
For instance:
I want to render out my sequence as an WMV - set up the render and output settings for that etc.
Once it's rendered I want to be able to right click on the file in Windows, click Properties, go to the Summary tab and see a specific title, let's say "Happy Bunnies" in the "Title" space in the description - Or if I open it in window media player, I want it to say "Happy Bunnies" as the title under "Now playing"
I don't want the file name to be Happy Bunnies.wmv - just the title of the video.
Is it possible to add properties like that to the output settings in After Effects? If I have 10 videos, I don't want to have to change that in all of them individually in windows - but rather add it to an output template in after effects.

Good question, but for the most part I believe the answer is No. The real question here is, how this metadata gets added and AE does not support Title, Author and so on. when you do this in Media Player, it also only exists locally in your Library until you choose to update your media information. The only AE supports are chapters. When you add markers to a timeline and enter text in teh Chapter field, it will appear in the respective menu in WMP. short of that, you will have to use otehr tools, it seems. Windows Media Encoder is free, so that would be one option otehr tools, e.g. the one bundled with Nero Burning ROM also can as can of course several alternative commercial converters.

AE has been 64bit only since CS5. Upgrade your operating system to 64bit, if you really want to use AE that desperately.

Cinema 4D file render vs After Effects render

Hello,
I love the fact that you can import Cinema4D files in After Effects, but when I render this out I get a white line arround the Cinema-layer.
I have a Nvidea quatro 4000 Cuda card. In the example both are in the same settings from the C4D file. And in after effects the output is set to final, ray-traced setting are set to 5.
But why does it render with an bad/white outline.
Can somebody help?

You misunderstand. The raytrace 3D has nothing to do with Cineware, soi the settings are irrelevant. In fact you probably see these oddities because you have it set as the comp render and it affects layer belnding calculations. Naturally, also check your Alpha channel settings in the C4D file's render settings. You could be using a straight Alpha where a premultiplied one is required or vice versa.

Cant open Windows After Effects project in Mac

Hello,
Im unable to open an AEP that was created on windows on my Mac, we are both registered to cloud and have the same updated After Effects version 11.0.3. The windows version runs on After Affects CC and I don't, could this be the issue, im downloading it now.

Correct. AE projects are not backward compatible - unless explicitly saved down to CS6 from CC.

Adobe after effects error: Cant overwrite adobe after effects 9.0 prefs file!

Its when ever i go to edit/Prefrences/ And change a setting and press ok it comes up.

Delete the preferences file and then restart After Effects.
The preferences directory for After Effects CS4 is here on Windows:
C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\9.0
Also, bumping a thread after only half an hour on a Sunday is showing unrealistic impatience. You can't expect people to help immediately, especially on a Sunday.

Cinema 4D Lite wont render in After Effects?

I'm a beginner with After Effects and while trying to use Cinema 4D Lite I came back to After Effects and made a new Composition with the .c4d file. All that showed up in my composition was black, and if I scrubbed through nothing showed up and it stayed the same. When I tried rendering it gave me "After Effects error: RAM Preview needs 2 or more frames to playback."
I'm not very tech savvy, so if someone would kindly help fix the problem in a simple manner that would be awesome!

Hi! Thats my problem. I downloaded After Effects CS6 Trial and i downloaded it. Im clicked Set-Up and im waiting about 20sec and its finnish, but its not finnished.. Its saying "Download Adobe Advisor" Im downloaded it but its not worked. And i tested down load Creative cloud, same problem. Pls help me! The error dont have error code. Im tested "Run as Admin".

It said "Cannot install Please click the quit button" .. I dont know why it goes like that . Does it need requirements ? Did I forget to do something before I downloaded it ? That link is not a full instal packake of Adobe After Effects CS4 - that is only an update.
If you need AE just login to your Adobe Account and download Creative Cloud App and from that AE CS6, CC or CC 2014.

Cant start photoshop, after effects, or premiere pro?! e.i. "Cant find AfterFX.exe"

When i try to start these programs, it says:
"The program can't start because C:\program iles\adobe\adobe photoshop CC 2014\photoshop.exe is missing from your computer. try re-installing the program to fix this problem."
This happens with each of them. I have re-installed 3 times and i still get this. I even manually found it and it still wont start. i tried going to Adobe's folder in appdata and changing it read and write, because that was a possible solution on one website. Besides that, i couldn't find any other website, talking about this problem. I also ran a full virus, malware scan.
Please help! i want to use this!!
