I cant seem to use external video in my swf!

why wont my video work live but work locally?

Hard to say for sure but first you need to make sure that you have uploaded all the related files... the player .swf, the skin.swf, the .flv video file, as well as any javascript Flash detection file used.
If you've done all that and still no go, post a link.

Using external video

Im trying to play an external 3gp video file using flash. The
CDK implys that you simply write myVideo.play("nameoffile.3gp");
and then it should work. Tried this and nothing happens at all!
If someone could give me a more in depth idiot proof
dscription of what im supposed to do it would be a appreciated.

I understand your frustration. Open your library and click
the small dropdown at the top right of the panel. Create a "new
video". Give the video a name and make sure the Video button
(ActionScript-controlled) is selected. Click "OK".
Now the Video (with the name you gave it) will be in your
library. Drag it from the library onto your Flash Lite 2 Stage. Now
click on the video object once and give it an instance name of
"myVideo". Now the actionscript you mentioned below to call
external video should work.

When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with.

Using external interface to reload swf

Hey all,
I have a navigation menu set up using standard jquery to load new body text and play a swf. There are about 10 links, each having there own body text and swf file. The swf's simply play, then stop after about 30 frames. When clicking through each menu item, a new swf plays and body text appears.
I've been running into a problem lately with IE not reloading a swf. Instead it stops on the last frame of the swf and appears as an image. I was told to try using the external interface so jquery can force it to reload. I've never used the external interface before though and was wondering if someone knows how to do this?

I ran into a similar problem and had to "fool" IE in reloading a site by using this workaround,

Flash issue I cant seem to figure out. Please help.

I cant seem to play embeded videos, youtube, vimeo or even bandcamp. When I go to youtube for an example, the video will take a while to load, along with the "suggested" videos in the right pane. While its loading I am unable to click out of the window or even to another tab. Once the video starts to play there is zero audio. This happens on all sites mentioned above. As of right now the only solution is to restart the computer which to me is an uneccesary solution.
Ive uninstalled and re-installed Flash 11.7 three or four times now. This will happen randomly too. I was able to use youtube earlier today.
Im running Windows 7 64, AMD as well as firefox everything is up to date as far as drivers etc. Any help would be awesome.

Its used to check whether each column in one table(ICCID_TEMP) exists in another table(DEP_BATCH_DETAILS) if not the column data and some other parameters are entered into the 2nd table.
The procedure compiled fine , I use sql devloper and dont know how to run it from there so i run the procedure from C# code

You can't monitor SD without a 3rd party card.
Perhaps you mean the material is DV?
You don't send DV material directly to a monitor - you send it out via firewire to some sort of DV/analog conversion then to a monitor.

cant seem to get a seagate external drive to show up in finder when on the airport extreme base station. ver 7.5 using 10.6.2 any special setting to show it up in finder?

I tested a FAT 32 drive and it will show up.
Open your Hard Drive and look for your AirPort Extreme under the SHARED heading
Click the AirPort Extreme icon and then click Connect As at the upper right of the window
Your drive should appear
If not, click anywhere on your open desktop so that the Finder menus appear at the top of the screen
Click Finder, then click Preferences, then click the General tab
Under the heading of "Show these items on the desktop", make sure there is a check mark next to "Connected Servers"

I'm use two screens, Firefox 4 is not displaying correctlying on my second screen. How do I fix this? (I have Windows 7, 64 bit, and using an external video card)

It only happens on the screen I'm using the external video card. I'm assuming its a bug.

I think this is related to other posts, the solution at the moment seems to be to disable hard acceleration.
