I cant sign into itunes from my iphone or put songs onto it from my pc itunes
I was purchasing an in app purchase and that app froze after purchasing and signed me out of itunes now i cant sign back in on my phone the sign in box comes up but closes after about 5 sexonds without fail every time i have tried and tried and tried. I then went onto my pc an altho it picks up my phone i cannot drag any music or apps onto it atal it has the grey circle with a line through sign and dosnt go blue with the add sign lime it should HELP!! im not paying al this money for this phone for its main feature to bust. Do i need to restore? Update? Or what? Thanks alot
I've got the same problem right now. I have an old Apple ID that my whole family was using (of course that one works fine) but I want to sign in with my personal iCloud ID and it does the same thing that you described. Any answers?
Note: doesnt work in iTunes or the App Store from my Macbook Pro or my iPhone, but does work when I sign in to the Apple ID page in my browser.

Cant sign into iTunes with VPP manager email address
Is anyone else having difficulty signing into iTunes with their Apple VPP account manager email address? I work as an IT contractor for a number of schools and in the past have set up VPP so that paid and free apps can be distributed via an MDM solution. Recently, the process by which we do this isn't working any more. Apple have admitted in emails that they have changed the way that VPP accounts are set up on their end and that during the transition some accounts were processed incorrectly (causing a lot of headaches and confusion). In one instance, we set up the VPP manager account using a distribution list email address of .*******. later, we enabled two step verification and provisioned the facilitator account. but when we sent to sign into the iTunes store with the management accounts email address, we got the error message: "this email is associated with he VPP program". We have told apple about this who replied with a frustrating tautology: "our records indicate that that address is associated with the VPP program, so you will have to use another email address to sign into iTunes." Trouble is, for the purposes of information management, we cant just sign into iTunes with any old email address, we have to use one provisioned by the education department, and they wont provision another email address for this.. Also, we have screenshots which demonstrate that it is possible to sign into iTunes with the program manager account at other schools, so what has changed? If this keeps up, I will have no choice but to recommend to all schools in future that they not go with Apple because their account provision system is not maintained at a professional level. The fact that they are so slow moving on this makes me look bad and the lack of documentation is inexcusable given the massive profits they have been posting. I will campaign vehemently against the use of apple in education unless this situation changes for the better. Already one school on our books have had an absolute gut-full of and have sold off the 60 iPads they purchased in favor of Android tablets with custom ROMS. What is the solution and why is there no phone number for Apple VPP in Australia?

I work at a school as THE ONLY IT Support Officer. I setup a generic user account for VPP under the old system so that the account was not tied to my name just in case I left or someone else had to take over the role. Now we cant use that account to manage the VPP account. We have to create other admin accounts. Trouble is, most of us already have our personal emails attached to iTunes accounts, AND YOUR SYSTEM WON'T LET US USE THESE ACCOUNTS TO BE ADMINS FOR OUR VPP ACCOUNT BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY ATTACHED TO AN ITUNES ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I'm home and I can't remember my logon password and cant recall my recovery key because it's all back at work on a system I cant access until 2 weeks from now when the school holidays are over.

The generic email account we setup is a distribution list account for the purposes of adding and removing people as needed. Apples change now means that we have to create more email accounts. I won't be doing that any time soon, I already have 5 and not about to create moer.
I too will not be recommending that schools go with Apple products. They are a consumer product, not an enterprise product. The promise you the world and all you get is pain. -
Ive never used IOS before .... everytime i try signing into itunes it asks to verify my account by requesting my credit card details which i dont want to do ..can anyone help with this
How did you create the account ? Unless you use the instructions on this page when creating an account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 , then you will need to enter credit card details before you will be able to use the account to download any item from the store.

I have a new computer. i signed into itunes but my music isn't there. How do i get all my music off my old iphone to the new computer so i can put all the music on my new one.
The guy at att told me that icloud would sync everything i had in my notes, calendar, and text messages to my new phone, but it only synced some of my notes, none of my messages, or calendar info.Your music will only be where you put it. It will not magically appear on a new computer.
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
If for some reason you cannot do this, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an iphone: Without syncing - File>Transfer Purchases

how to sign in different iTunes account when it has already been signed into after restoring the iPhone
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
To change the login
- Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into your account.
You may have apps purchased with her account that need updating. -
Please help! I can power the device off but when i try to unlock the screen its like it cant feel my finger tracing over my unlock design, thus I cannot sign into itunes to download what i have before I possibly loose everything My warranty is expired and I dont know if there is any other solution before I dump a bunch of money into this devise. If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I've just received an email from 'Apple' saying that my apple id was used to sign into iCloud on an iphone 5S. I have an iphone 4. It then asks that I 'click here' to confirm my details and change my password. How do I tell if the email is genuine?
Apple will not ask you to click a link in an email. They may tell you to log in to your account to reset your password. Go to https://appleid.apple.com and log in if you ever want to change any information in your profile (or your password). And do not click the link I just posted; instead enter it into a browser.
You can verify the devices assigned to your account by going to https://icloud.com/find (again, don't click it), where you can see a list of devices registered to your Apple ID.
As a general rule, you should never click a link in an email or forum post without verifying it first. You can see where it goes without clicking it in most email programs and browsers by hovering your mouse pointer over it. On an iPhone you can check where it goes by holding your finger on the link (rather than just tapping it). -
I have recieved an e-mail seemingly from Apple that has gone straight into my spam. It says that someone has used my Apple ID to sign into iClous on an iPhone 4. There is a lionk to follow to check my details. I am assuming that I should not so this?

I have an ipad I used with a computer which's now broken. I bought a new Macbook Pro and signed into iTunes with my usual Apple id and pw. I connected my ipad to the new Macbook but it won't back up my photos or Apps from the ipad to the new macbook. Help
What do you mean " back up my photos or Apps"?
The photo sync is one way - computer to ipad.
You can transfer itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -

I am having no problems downloading from the app store today. I just tried it again. However, I read some of those other discussions as well and there have been times when the iTunes or App Store has been out of commission. Don't hold your breath waiting for Apple to acknowledge it because that is not going to happen. That is not how they operate.

Why cant i sign into icloud from my laptop?
I have an acer netbook. When i first got icloud on it it worked great. For a couple weeks, maybe more i have not been able to sign into icloud from my laptop.
It says,"You can't sign in because of a server error." Then it says "icloud status" and you can click on it. I end up here http://help.apple.com/icloud/
I am logged into icloud on my phone. But cannot get into it on my laptop.
Anybody know a fix for this?
