I and many others had varying levels of difficulty watching The Live Event. You seem to be just attempting to watch the archive thereof. The two misbehaviors may or may not be related. Your symptoms seem to be kind of random and varied. If other QT movies play OK - trailers, etc. - it could be concluded that the problem is on the Apple end with that particular content. One possibility is that a WHOLE LOT of folks are trying to watch the same stuff at once, causing server-load issues. A brief bit of testing on my part - Safari and Firefox/Mozilla, sorry, no PC - has shown a real sluggishness in both. Wait a while (several days?) to try it again. The LiveBlog archive displays OK - earliest to latest in time. It will give you a feeling for what the Keynote-Keynote presentation visuals were like.

Hi. An application me and my friends are having some problems starting is called League of Legends and we want to know more why we cant start the app.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Cant start the default domain server
Hi,
I have installed the j2sdk1.4 by running the following exe file "j2eesdk-1_4-dr-windows-eval-app" Then when I try to start the default domain.. I am getting the following error : Cannot find the main class. Program will exit.
I found that the error is due to the double qoutes in the path setting. Well When I see the path in the environment variable, the double qoutes I cant see.. but if I give the path command in the command prompt to view the path value, then it shows some paths in double qoutes .. I just dont know how do I remove this dirt from the path values.
Please help.
Note the Norton's Ghost is not installed on my pc.
ThanksI found the solution.. I am able to start the default domain..After rebooting the system it use to run an autoexe file.. due to which the path use to get append in the path variable. I have deleted the autoexe file and now the pathi s set properly and the server is also getting started.

Cant start the The Adobe Application Manager
I have been trial version 4 before .. and now downloaded the trial version 5 ... but can not start it because I get the following error message: Validate license at Pre-Chrome time. The Adobe Application Manager will not start... and I get the error message, mentioned above, when I start the Adobe Support Adviser. And now I do not really know what to do! Please help me someone!

Installation was successfully but cant start the portal

I download the SAP Portal 7 trial version and installed it in typical option on Win XP. During the install it was asked to put the master password. The installation was successfully finished. Trying to start the server from the administration console it was asked to authenticate (put the username and password.) After typing of the credential data I get in a message box: "invalid credential, start failed: 2" and the start of the server fail. I retyped and even reinstall the Portal two times to be sure that I do not make a mistake but each time I get the same error!
I installed it later again and choosed custom installation option and step by step, put all necessary passwords and installation was successfully. But the result was the same and I get the error again!
Please help to to get the portal a startHm..ok Shadmehr,

Photo stream doesn't sync videos unless they are short videos added to a shared stream. If not, you must have synced them to your phone or took them on the phone itself.
Did you sync them to your phone using iTunes? If not, are you running a Mac that is signed into your iCloud account and running iPhoto? -

I have installed a new database in a new linux server.it is giving me many problems.
After setting required parameters like ORACLE_HOME,ORACLE_SID etc
when I write sqlplus / as sysdba
it says command not found.
so I have to write ./sqlplus / as sysdba
it works and connect to an idle instance
after giving command to startup it gives me following errors:
SQL> startup
ORA-48108: invalid value given for the diagnostic_dest init.ora parameter
ORA-48140: the specified ADR Base directory does not exist [/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/<ORACLE_BASE>]
ORA-48187: specified directory does not exist
Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory

Please check the parameters.
You said that you set the audit_file_dest parameter as follow:
audit_file_dest='<ORACLE_BASE>/admin/idmdb/adump'
But the error message is relative to the directory /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/<ORACLE_BASE>:
ORA-48140: the specified ADR Base directory does not exist [/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/<ORACLE_BASE>]
The two Paths are different.
More over, don't use ORACLE_BASE as a variable, give the Full Path. The Parameter File doesn't work as the ".profile".
On the other hand, you should check for the DIAGNOSTIC_DEST directory value. The location of the ADR Home is given by this Parameter:

the trial opened for a sec and closed again without an error message... cs6 is installed..is it a problem?
you need a clean install with no errors, or you need to fix your errors. i'm not able to fix your errors.
you could try a clean install:
run the cleaner: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer.
shutdown all unneeded programs including (and especially) antivirus, antimalware.
right click the setup file and click "run as administrator". -
I cant start xfce4.4 installed from shadowhands repo
well i installed xfce4.4 like 1 week ago but im not able to start is as normal user , it just starts loading but then stops and shows the desktop wallpaper (the tiny rat with green background), and does nothing , then i tried starting it as root user and it loaded up everything.

Ok the problem its not xfce4.4 from shadowhands repo , i installed xfce4 from the official archlinux repo and i cant start the xfce4.2 , it does the same thing , starts and shows the wallpaper and the mouse pointer , but then nothing. -

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. just started a new apple tv and also started using an iMac . I have itunes on the iMac but i cant get the apple tv to sync or find any settings to do so ! How can I get the iMac and apple tv to sync the itunes ? i have a internet connection between them , I have signed in to the itunes store on the apple tv and it shows that the apple tv is sharing my library from the IMac , but it wont sync and the apple tv has no content !

The Apple TV (with the exception of the Apple TV 1) does not sync, it streams everything from your library on your computer or from the internet. -
When I plug in my Ipod Touch to my computer I can not access my Itunes library. The following message appears "The program cant start because MSVCR80.dll is missing." Also, another message appears as well - "Error 7 Windows error 126" as well as APSDaemon.exe.
I have NO IDEA what the heck to do.

I have installed Adobe Premiere Pro cc on my laptop, but I cant find a way to start the program. No Icon, and it is not showing up in the start meny. It is showing up in add/remove programs, but nt anywhere else.
If you are using a Mac, simply hit Command-Spacebar to bring up Spotlight Search. Begin typing the name of the application and when you see what you are looking for, press enter. You should get a hit by the second or third letter you type. Great way to launch apps on computers that you are not familiar with.
Windows 7 and 8 should have something similar. I think you simply press the Windows key and begin typing. Press enter when you see a match.
Both Mac and Windows search tools can be customized to search for applications, files, emails and so forth. For Windows, look for Taskbar and Start Menu Properties. For Mac, go to Preferences Spotlight. Turn off items you know you won't need to speed up searches.
