ı have mac book air , mac os mountain lion x 8 2 and java 7 9 is loaded...ı cant play at yahoo games after java upgradede to 7 9 , ı have been writing here to expect someone hear me and help me? is this just for trade or help customers to solve problems they meet...ı want apple professionals hear and help me !!! what can ı do? all were done properly but when ı enter yahoo lounge and attemp to join a table , it quits and ı cant join then it says error lodging....can someone help me , pls urgent !!!!

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are unable to download the purchases from your purchase history, because iTunes believes the songs to be in your library. It may be necessary to delete the items from your library, then re-download from your purchase history. Before doing so, you may want to take note of which song are available for re-download:

Alright, well I figured it out at last. In case anyone has the same problem I was missing a perl script. I believe it's only needed when you're running a frontend separate from the backend.

Yahoo games requires Java update

then no matter what I can't get games. Even after update it keeps telling me the version is out of date. Anybody have a fix (again)??

Thanks but I did all of that, no joy. This is a recurring problem with Apple and Java that always prevents Yahoo games from working. The Java version that Apple allows is always behind the most current version the rest of the world uses.

Probably because Facebook Games on the website need Flash to run, and iPads don't natively support Flash.
You may be able to find a Flahs supporting browser in the Appr Store. (Search for "flash browser"). Though support is not 100% for any of them, but maybe some of the games may work.

Verizon still playing their "dishonest" games...be afraid, be VERY afraid!

Just another post to let everyone know Verizon is still playing their dishonest and underhanded games. FYI I "had" two Verizon landlines one of which I am in the process of canceling & porting the number over to my Ooma Telo (www.ooma.com) from which Verizon is suppose to then close and terminate my account. Having performed my due diligence and realized how expensive Verizon is now compared to others, I purchased and installed a Ooma Telo almost a month ago and had Ooma port the Verizon number over. Paperwork, authorization and confirmation for porting were emailed to me from Ooma leaving just for Verizon to complete their end. It is now almost a month and as of this morning Verizon has yet to complete their part making me a captive audience to their outrageous pricing for another month.
For those who are concerned over some of the outrageous prices charged by Verizon bordering on piracy, lack of follow-up, and a oblivious lack of concern for their customers, you might want to consider using VOIP phone providers such as www.ooma.com, www.phonepower.com, www.magicjack.com, etc. I have tried to give Verizon every reason why I would want to stay as a phone subscriber however time and time again they have not been very responsive to any of my concerns or needs. If my Verizon phone number porting takes any longer I will have no recourse but to then initiate a email campaign to the regulatory agencies just so I can motivate Verizon to do what is expected for their subscribers...even though who are in the process of canceling their Verizon services.

Here are the states impacted by this very raw deal Verizon has sold us out to.
AZ, ID, IL, IN, MI, NV, NC (except Knotts Island), OH, OR, SC, Crows-Hermatite (VA), WA, WI, and the following communities in California that border AZ, NV and OR–Big River, Blythe, Coleville, Crescent City, Desert Center, Eagle Mountain, Earp, Felicity, Fort Dick, Gasquet, Klamath, Kneeland, Markleeville, Merced, Needles, Orick, Parker Dam, Ripley, Smith River, Topaz, Trinidad, Vidal and Winterhaven.
Customers no longer truly matter to Verizon unless your in a big metro area where they installed FiOS. When will the states wakeup? Verizon has consistently promised then broke the promises they made to rural Americans. Our money helped to finance and pay for the FiOS network that they so enjoy profitting from. But do we get a chance to even see the fuit of our tarrifs, taxes and fees that help build it? Nope, it's time the FCC stopped the nonsense with big corporate telecos such as Verizon.

Problems with games after leopard upgrade

After i upgraded to leopard iv been having trouble with some games (like bf 2142), they wont open, as soon as i click on the game it quits right away, anyone having this problem too? or anyone have any solutions??

I am a Cisco network support engineer, I have a recommendation, before you upgrade any device in the future. Always keep in mind to make a backup of your data, in this way if you have to reset the device to factory settings you will not lose that information. Having said that, reset the router to the fabric configuration using the back little button, remember when you do that, you are going to loose your current configuration.

Dates one day behind after java upgrade to 1.6.0_27

I have upgraded from Java 1.5.0_06 to 1.6.0_27
After the upgrade ,I saw that dates are a day behind.All dates that lie between November 6th to March 10th are correct but dates
lying between March 10th to November 5th for any year are wrong.(one day behind)
Is it something to do with DayLight saying.
I am using GMT-5 Eastern Time(US & Canada) and Server is set to automatically adjust time coressponding to day light saving.
I checked,I get the date correct from database and in the factory class also it is correct,in the servlet it is correct but my Viewclass which calls this servlet shows date one day behind.
I am doing no conversion ,the date fetched from database is stored like
java.sql.Date beginDate= resultSet.getDAte("BeginDate")
Schedule.setBegindate(beginDate)
In the Schedule Object ,the beginDAte is of type Date.
I am adding all dates to a treeset.I do a printout just after setting,it is correct
But in my view class ,its one day behind,no manipulation is done.Dont know why is the day incorrect.
IS it because of Java version.

I have mentioned in my second post what results it shows for getDefaults.
I know its very strange ,the dates gets one day behind immedately only in the view class not in the servlet or the factory class.

It is not possible to run Java based browser plugins in Android. Oracle, the people who make Java and Google, the people who make Android are currently in a legal battle. I would not expect Oracle to be releasing a Java plugin for Android due to this legal fight.
As a workaround I would suggest searching the Android market (Play Store) for the type of game you want to play. There are hundreds of free and paid game apps in the store.

You have no other option other than to activate that phone with a SIM card. The SIM doesn't need to be an active SIM, however, so any old deactivated SIM will do.

Google Play closes on start after ICS upgrade on Arc S, accounts and sync empty, setup guide problem

I upgraded my arc s to ics 4 days ago, i used google play for the first time after upgrade today. It closes on start. I checked Accounts and Sync, my google account is not there, the whole list is just... empty. I tried the setup guide, at the step they ask to connect to services and sync, i clicked the google button, click and click and click, nothing, all the other icons work (like facebook), i searched for gmail app, non existent....... Seems too late to ask for help but im repairing my phone using pc companion now, hope everything works again.... just powered on my phone, i have a feeling nothing will be changed... really sad that Sony didnt realise this.... i cant access google services at all....plain weird

Login issue in R12 after Java Upgrade

Hello All,
After upgarding Java on Application server to JDK7, I am not able to go past the logon screen of oracle application in R12 using the IE-8 web browser, got with below error, whereas i am able to work as usual in Firefox web browser, also found that some others are able to access applications including forms who are having smillar system configuration as that of mine, like OS, IE version.
<PRE>Oracle error 1403: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01403: no data found ORA-06512: at line 1 has been detected in FND_SESSION_MANAGEMENT.CHECK_SESSION. Your session is no longer valid. </PRE>

The problem here i mentioned seems to be system specific, if that is so do i have to do any changes at my system level to rectify this issue? Please suggest.
