I cant stream HD video using Airplay

I cant stream HD videos using airplay and a specific iphone app that used to work properly before (Globo.tv).
HD videos from Youtube app work fine. Any idea on what is going on?
All softwares are updated to the latest version, wifi is fine, router is an Airport Extreme fully updated.
My iPhone is a 5S and the Apple TV is the latest one.
Mirrowing the app using the iPad and playing the Globo.tv app works fine with airplay, but i cant see the video full screen.

Updating:
Well, I tried removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing happened.
But yesterday i realized something: the Globo.tv is an app that provides some unprotected videos and lots of protected. To wach it you must have an account with them. Well, I do. And used to wach all videos with no problems. Well, I realized that at some "point" I now can only Air Play "opened" videos. All others protected with login process, does not work.
How login works: I need to login at the app once. Then I can wach any video I want.
Any idea what is going on?
Another info: I can start waching the video and then click Air Play. It won´t work. If i do the same with an unprotected video, it works fine.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

HT4437 Transmit live video using AirPlay?

I have a iPhone 4 and iPod and I want to connect them to transmit live video using AirPlay but I dont have it - how do I install Airplay?

Can I stream videos using airplay to appletv2 and play the audio thru stereo using airport express?

I have apple tv 2 connected to my HDTV. I am streaming VEVO videos from iphone to ATV2. Would like to play the audio through my sony stereo. Would love to do it wirelessly if possible. Can this be done? Would airport express connected to stereo make this possible? If not what are my options.

The only input ports I have on the stereo is a dmport, auxillary and headphone jacks. I really would like to do this wireless. If, instead of appletv2, I had google tv which VEVO uses could the airport express be used? Seems like I recall reading somewhere that using 2 of them created a wireless connection for audio. Is that right?

No Video using Airplay from iPad 2 to Apple TV 2 using authorized App.

I have an iPad 2 and Apple TV 2.   I use Slingbox.
Today, I started watching a show using my iPad as a Slingbox Player.   The source TV was in another state.   The video and audio was good, and the network speed using Speakeasy was above 3MBPS download.   I clicked on the Airplay button at the top, and the video and audio started playing on my HD TV in full HD. Audio and Video were correct and great.
Then I tried to change channels and evenutally I disconnected the Slingbox.   I reconnected the Slingbox and after pushing the Airplay button again, I only got audio (with a little musical note symbol on the tv at the lower lest corner).   I then proceeded to reboot the iPad 2 and i reset the Apple TV to factory settings.   No luck. Reconnecting via Airplay to the TV only will stream Audio.   The network speed stayed above 3MBPS.
I also was unable to connect video using my iPhone, but I was able with my MacBook Air.
Note: I AM able to force mirroring by turning Mirroring "on" (double click on button, swipe app bar to the right, hit Airplay button, and turn on Mirroring).   But although the video is fine, I lose HD and the picture qualtiy is degraded.   Not a good solution.
I now KNOW that I can send a Slingbox signal to my HDTV from my iPad as a Slingplayer and using Airplay. It worked! But only for about 20 minutes, and I am not able to get it back.
This is a real poser.   I hope someone knows how to fix this (but judging from the other questions on this question over the years - I doubt it...:-(

I FOUND THE ANSWER TO MY OWN QUESTION: The Slingplayer will tend to default to SQ (Standard Quality) playback.   Under "Quality" on the Slingplayer screen, there are choices of SQ, HD (High Def) and AUTO.   I selected "Auto" and it went to HD quality. Then, when I enabled AirPlay, a full HD picture appeared on my TV WITHOUT having to select "Mirroring".

Stream live video - use http or rtmp protocols from player code?

I'm trying to stream live video for the first time. I've installed FMIS 3.5 without Apache 2.2. I'm confused on the RTMP/HTTP protocol usage,
I can only have port 80 opened on our FMIS 3.5 box.
1. I've created a new directory under "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flash Media Server 3.5\applications" called "livedev" as my publishing point.
2. Question:
     Do I need to copy main.asc, Application.xml, allowedHTMLdomains.txt, allowedSWFdomains.txt to this directory as well?
3. Question:
     Using FMLE 3 - FMS URL parameter which protocol do I need to use, does it matter 'http' or 'rtmp'? - http://localhost/livedev or rtmp://localhost/livedev
     Does RMTP use port 80.
4. Question:
     In my Flash Player code. I dragged an instance of FLVPlayback component, what URL do I need for the 'Source' parameter?

2. You don't need to copy main.asc unless you have logic in there that you want on your new application. It's a text file so you can open and read it, get familiar. allowedDomains is up to your security policy, but if you want it to apply to that application then yes. Finally the Application.xml in there is an override of the default one in the server's conf directory - so you only need to include it if you plan on overriding settings from the default.
3. Chosing which type dictates whether or not you're doing HTTP (not streaming) or RTMP (streaming) however you've added a complication that you're only allowed to use port 80 - which RTMP does not by default. FMLE doesn't support HTTP push to FMS, so the FMS URI must be fomr form of RTMP* so you're left with some good choices
Use RTMP over port 80 like so rtmp://myServerName:80/appName/ <- notice the coded port number
Use RTMPT which automatically uses port 80 and will get around most proxies that demand HTTP traffic - however there's more performance overhead than RTMP (think maybe 25% more overhead for a wild guess on my part)
I dunno the answer for your FLVPlayback component but I'm going to take a guess that the issue is about the same here and you should use the same parameter that you're using for your RTMP ingest. At worst I'm pretty sure that it will work and that's not so bad.

Streaming music, movies using airplay and ipod touch on Macbook

I am not sure if this is possible but let me explain what I have with me.
I own an ipod touch 2nd gen, MacBook and airport express base station. Now ipod touch has iOS 4.2.1.
As title says, is it possible to stream music/movies from my ipod touch to macbook(instead of Apple tv). is it possible to use my macbook as an airplay device ? I know macbook doesn't comes with iOS, but I assume it is a superset of iOS.

Ipad cant stream any video

Hi all, i have a problem with my ipad. i cant load any streaming video from youtube or dailymotion for example. loading icon is turning for minutes but no video can be played. any idea what's wrong with my ipad? Cant stream mp4 videos from websites any more.

I bought my Iphone 3Gs last week friday and have loved it every day since, but recently I went on my fav MP4 video streaming site and every time I click a video it takes a few seconds then instead of the video its a page full of crazy txt
This was working perfectly a few days ago and cant get it working at all now, the website in question is <edited by host> the mobile version god that sounds so seedy but every man has his needs lol I need my Fix!!!
I cant even go on youtube mobile and watch a video it just doesnt show anything but blank white screen where the video should be, but the youtube app works perfectly
and also when I plug my iphone into Itunes occasionally it wants me to restore the iphone then I unplug and stick it back in and it works perfectly
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? tempted to restore my iphone because its annoying me that much
p.s My friend who has an Ipod Touch 1st Gen is able to go on the sites and the videos work for him instantly so its not a flash problem the videos are in mp4 format just incase anyone starts talking about Iphone's not having flash

(not that app) Every time I click a video link it normal use to let me play the video and it would load up on quicktime and would watch it, and now there is just a blank white screen, just seams like the quicktime isnt working as it should with safari

Troubles streaming live video using Playbook

Hi,
I have Bell's Fibe12 internet and am using their sagemcom f@st 2864 wireless modem.
My playbook is connected to my wireless network and I can browse the web no problem. However, when I start to stream live tv or radio, it starts to work fine for a little bit (longer with radio) and then starts to freeze up/ become choppy.
I connected my laptop to the same wireless network and stream the same video no problem.
Do you think it's the Playbook or something with my WiFi?

Unfortunately, the one I use for streaming video is password protected as I am subscribed to it.
Someone mentioned to me that it has to do with the fact that my router is 2.4Ghz and that the Playbook needs a 5.0Ghz router in order to stream video with no issues.

Streaming Live Video using Flash Media Encoder/Flash Media Streaming Server

We currently get a video feed from local cable channel that gets streamed live to our internet website. It gets encoded first on our Windows 2003 server running Windows Media Encoder and then gets published on another Windows 2003 server running Windows Media Services. We are trying to replace these two servers with another solution and the two things driving this project are:
1. These two servers are coming to an end of life cycle so we need to replace the hardware and upgrade the OS.
2. They currently only support Windows compatible file formats. Just like other organizations out there, iPAD users are popping up and they want to view these video streaming from their iPAD.
That's why we are looking at Adobe Flash Media Encoder3 and Flash Media Streaming Server 4.5. My questions for the experts out there are:
1. Can Adobe Flash Media Encoder and Adobe Flash Media Streaming Server can replace our current solution?
2. Do we need both Flash Media Encoder and Flash Media Streaming Server or can Flash Media Streaming Server also can encode video feed?
3. Can Flash Media Encoder and Flash Media Streaming Server can run on the same server?
4. Our Windows Media Services server also has few on-demand publishing points along with a live video streaming. Can above mentioned Adobe products support having live streaming publishing point along with on-demand video publishing points?
5. Does Adobe Flash Media Encoder only support Flash and Quicktime or does it also support .wmv?
I called the sales to find the answers to these questions but he basically read the features listed on the Adobe product website and couldn't really answer these questions.
Any help in find the answers to these questions will be greatly appreciated.

Split audio/video using Airplay and Apple TV?

I have a MBP and a Vizio TV hooked up with my ATV. They are in the same room in my living roon. The computers on my MBP are great and the speakers on my Vizio TV suck. When playing a movie in iTunes and clicking Airplay to send it to my ATV is it possible to send only the video while keeping the audio coming form my computer speaker setup? Thanks!
