I cant stream online radio on my iphone 4

I just got my iphone 4 and i tryed to play a online radio through sefari but it says "the operation nat be completed" but my old iphone 3 played it just fine

Hi, I recently had this same problem.
I had an iphone 3gs that i jailbroke from AT&T to use on straight talk. then I bought an iphone 4, backed up my 3GS to itunes on my computer. When I activated my new ip4, i reloaded all my backed up files to the new phone and discovered that I could do everything except send pics via texts. I could send them via imessage, I could send them via email, i could upload to anything I wanted to, i just couldnt send a pic via text. worked with the carrier, worked with Apple. Then I backed up the phone again, reset it to factory settings, then started up from Hello again and BEFORE i reloaded all my stuff from itunes, i tried to send a pic via text and it WORKED. Then i restored all my stuff from itunes and then it didn't work AGAIN. I got online with Justin in Support with Apple and he had me do the regular reset; Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. this will take your phone back to factory settings but WILL NOT discard all your contacts or other media, but you will have to reset your ringtones, text tones, etc, and any other settings you may have changed such as text size....I need it big.....anyway, i hope that i helped someone with this. I'm glad it was just this simple for me, because all my other settings were fine, mms was on, etc. but if you do a backup from one iphone to itunes and then download it to your new phone, it could be something in one of those files, or a corrupted file or just a simple setting from one carrier to the next that's stopping you. Trying to stream online radio station to no avail

hi guys,
just wondered if with my internet connection it would be possible to stream an online radio station (www.passionradiobristol.com) using my connection which is fairly slow (300k). I know this is pretty poor but here in my region of Brazil it's limited. Is it possible, maybe I can do something to optimise the setup?

Listening to live streaming talk radio over your iphone.

Well I live in South Florida and there is a talk radio station that actually has their live broadcast streaming on their website. Well since the iphone is of course capable of using the internet, I was wondering if there is anyway possible to get like windows media player or some kind of plug-in or something for safari that will allow the iphone to do this.

I do recall Adobe saying that they have the SDK. That doesn't meant that they can or will develop flash for the iPhone.

Listening to streaming/online radio stations?

Hi there!
Is anyone here who manages to listen to MP3 streaming radio stations? shoutcast.com requires flash, so it does not work with my slide 3600.... The *.pls playlists from mobtuner.com are not recognized by my phone, though the 3600 slide could play streaming MP3 it does not recoginze *.pls files. I can only shake my head when i look at this....
So, who of you listens to such stations and what Nokia do you use?

i found the easiest is to use Internet Radio in the radio applications within Series60 phones. again, Nokia seem to be putting the top-notch features in Series60 phones rather than Series40, in order to differentiate the phone ranges. It seems that you are indeed searching for many features not available in Series40 but are standard on Series60. Actually, it might not be a bad idea for you to buy a N-series or other Series60 device, maybe one that has been on the market for a while and isn't that expensive, in order for you to satisfy your mulitmedia cravings. I have a N78 and i think now its price point is getting quite cheap, so maybe you can pick up something similar for a bargain

Why won't the iPhone 5 stream live radio?

I had a 4 that was stolen. While it wasn't perfect in the radio streaming department, (it cut out then without rhyme or reason would stream for longer periods), the iphone 5 is the WORST!! At most I get 4, or 7 or at most 10 minutes of content then *click* stream cut off and I have to enter passcode and reload page. It's 'Groundhog Day' in cycles of minutes. Entirely frustrating. *Does NOT happen with my iPad!! Wads of cash for an "upgrade" that cannot perform such a simple action. Help. Please.

Hi, Does anyone know how I can get my Macbookpro (Mac OS X 10.5.4) to stream live radio stations online? I particularly want to be able to listen to radio stations from Rio de Janeiro but I can't seem to get any to work. I've tried downloading Windows Media for Macs and Stuff it! Expander to open it but this doesn't seem to work.

Cannot listen to online radio streaming using Windows Media Player

Online radio websites that use Windows Media Player - opens up the player in new window but instead of buffering, says that it is playing but no output/sound. Definitely not security/pop up/firewall issue. Windows Media Player works fine playing CDs etc.

so, you definitively have a machine whichs plays sound and you can establish a internetconnection. I think its a pure mediaplayer problem (softwareproblem).
You have the following options:
1. Reinstall your mediaplayer or update it.
2. install another mediaplayer software like winamp or some other jukebox
3. ..no further options

Your daughter must have signed into your iCloud account, perhaps when she updated her phone. You can confirm this by going to Settings>iClloud on her phone and seeing if she is using the same iCloud ID.
To fix this you would need to migrate her phone to a separate iCloud account. To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos that she wishes to keep on your phone to her camera roll by opening her my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tapping the share icon (box with upware pointing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and provide the password when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone. This only deletes the account from her phone, not from iCloud; it won't effect your device(s). When you delete the account you will be asked if you want to keep or delete the iCloud data from her phone. If she needs to migrate a copy of the data to her new account, choose Keep; otherwise, choose Delete. Then sign back in with a separate Apple ID to create her new account and if migrating data to the new account, choose Merge when prompted.
Once she is on a separate account, if she migrated a copy of the data to her new account you can go to icloud.com from your computer, sign into her new iCloud account and delete your data from her account.

I cant stream HD video using Airplay

I cant stream HD videos using airplay and a specific iphone app that used to work properly before (Globo.tv).
HD videos from Youtube app work fine. Any idea on what is going on?
All softwares are updated to the latest version, wifi is fine, router is an Airport Extreme fully updated.
My iPhone is a 5S and the Apple TV is the latest one.
Mirrowing the app using the iPad and playing the Globo.tv app works fine with airplay, but i cant see the video full screen.

Updating:
Well, I tried removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing happened.
But yesterday i realized something: the Globo.tv is an app that provides some unprotected videos and lots of protected. To wach it you must have an account with them. Well, I do. And used to wach all videos with no problems. Well, I realized that at some "point" I now can only Air Play "opened" videos. All others protected with login process, does not work.
How login works: I need to login at the app once. Then I can wach any video I want.
Any idea what is going on?
Another info: I can start waching the video and then click Air Play. It won´t work. If i do the same with an unprotected video, it works fine.

If you mean the listing of internet streams that seems to have disappeared for many users of older iTunes versions over week ago. Probably some update at Apple broke older versions. No idea if it will ever come back but you can open stream URLs you find on the web and save them in playlists.

I think you meant 10.6.8, not 10.8.6
It requires an upgrade, instead of a free update.

I guess your definition of a "successful repair" is different from most people's.
If you got it serviced by Apple, take it back to them.
If you had it serviced by a 3rd party, Apple won't touch it. Take it back to whoeever fixed it for you.
