I cant sync music I purchased after changing my App

I changed the e-mail eddress for my apple id. Now my iphone is updated with the new adress but my ipod is not. And because I changed the adress I can no longer acess all the music I had purched on my ipod(saying this adress is invalid) with my itunes before having changed it.  my ipod is still logged in under the old adress... Any ideas??

Go to Settings>iTunes and App store and sign out and sign bck in.
Did you change the email address asociated with your old ID?
I no longer have an email address that was also my Apple ID. Can I still use the email address as my Apple ID?
Apple recommends you change your Apple ID to your current, working email address. This will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address. See Changing the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.
Or did you create a new ID? I ask because purchases are pumentely linked to the ID that purchased them

  • HT4623 I have the latest iTunes software on my iMac mini and now have IOS7 on my iPhone and now I cant sync music from my library either by wifi or by usb?

I have the latest iTunes software on my iMac mini and now have IOS7 on my iPhone and now I cant sync music from my library either by wifi or by usb? I get song lists that scoll at a million miles an hour but no actual content. What should I do to get my music onto my iphone.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

Restore your MacBook from your most recent backup.

  • I cant sync music to my phone, no matter what I have done

I have the latest version of both Itunes and IOS. My phone is not jailbreak at all.
I updated my iphone, then I cant sync music into my phone any more. I google it and tried every thing people have said:
    - Restart the computer
    - Reinstall itunes
    - Reset iphones
    - Erase all contents and data
    - Split my music into smaller playist - 50 songs each playist
    - Try to sync only 10 songs for trial
I have tried every thing people suggest and everything I could think of.
But No, my iphone refused to sync music.
It's taken me hours to play with this, and also, my call keeps dropping, this is my second device since my last device dropped calls as well and I had to get it exchanged.

    Hi, RachRae.
I would recommend the steps in the article below.  See the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.

  • Cant sync music, says the required disk can not be found

cant sync music, says the required disk can not be found

What are you trying to sync your iPad ot? Your question s a little misleading, meaning if you are out of the U.S. - that implies to me that you live in the U.S. and your computer is here, so once again - what are trying to sync to?
If you are trying to sync to another computer and I assume it would be your own computer - try another USB port on the computer. Before you attempt to sync again - Quit iTunes and reboot your computer.

  • Cant sync music from iphone 5... When sync button is clicked starting sync appears and dissapears and nothing happens i cannot find a solution for this... Someone help me please

I Cant sync please help me... Im using iphone 5 ios 7.1... when sync button is clicked starting sync comes and nothing happens and no music on my phone... Im trying to sync my playlist in itunes... I have itunes 11.1.3.8 64-bit Windows 8

My apologies...the version is 11.1.4.62 not as stated aboive in my problem description.  I'm trying again and it just finished syncing fine and my iPhone 5 is still connected to iTuns physcially with USB lightening cable and is displaying the iPhone icon top right.  I clicked on it and iTunes is now "hung' or  locked up.  Shows to be an active running application but can't get back to it so willl have to kill with task manager.  There is some kind of problem going on with the latest version of iTunes and Wndows 7 and 8.1 or something.  My iPhone 5 now has a new feature that it is now asking me if I "Trust" this computer.  iTunes just came "unhung" after several minutes while I was typing this. Now I am going to start the backup to this computer HP Winsows 8.1 and iTune 11.1.4.62 and see what happens.  Says it is Backing up Jerrys iPhone but the Barber Pole progress bar is not turning an iTunes is hung again and I cant get back to it from this page I am typing on.  Maybe it will eventually release as it did a moment ago.

  • Can't sync music on 3GS after IOS5 upgrade

Upgraded my 3gs to ios5, got an error state, restored, got "An error occurred while restoring this iPhone (-34)", but successfully restored after a couple of tries, but now I can't synch any music to the phone. My Apps, contacts, and photos are there, but no music.  When I try to synch the music, It says syncing, and "completes" but the music app shows "No Content".  I tried unchecking al music in itunes, syncing, then checking some music and resynching, thinking it my clear something out, but to no effect.  It's as if it thinks it's adding music, bt nothings there.

my problem occurred when I upgraded to IOS5 on my iPhone 4.  I received an unable to sync message that indicated that there was no space left on my iPhone; and a "Other" Capacity indicator appeared on the bottom of the iPhone device sync screen (in yellow color) and noted an overage of 12GB!  Ofcourse, prior to the upgrade I actually had 6GB free on my 32GB iPhone.  So, there is a bug.  The following link indicates a few solutions and hopefully it will answer your concern.  The link is http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1503
However, I had to restore as the first two solutions didn't work.  Furthermore, about 3.3GB of "Other" remains while I synced up.  Clearly, the problem has not been resolved.  Apple owes me and you community members a patch to fix this bug.  Basically, I have spent about two hours fixing this and I still cannot use 3.3GB of my iPhone space.

  • Is there a way for iTunes to sync music not purchased from iTunes to my account from my iPhone?

I accidentally wiped out all the memory from my desktop computer, including all the music from my Window's media player and itunes. All of my favorite music is stored on my iPhone, most of which was not bought from iTunes. iTunes only synced the music I purchased directly from iTunes, but I want to know if there's a way I can get the music I didn't buy from iTunes off my iPhone and back on my computer. I apologize if that was really confusing.

  • Can't sync music to iphone after a restore from back up

I Recently backed up my itunes library to external hard drive to move it to a new PC.  Now on my new PC I have the album files showing in my itunes folder but when I click on them they are showing empty so I though I had lost all my music.  However when I opened itunes it searched my PC and restores my library as it was before.  The problem now is I cannot update any songs on my iphone it is still showing what I had installed on it before I done the backup.  I have us synced music in itunes and when I connect my iphone it is showing no music on it and about 8 gb free but when I look at my phone the music is still there and it is only showing about 500mb free on there?

  • Cant find music in "purchased"

I want to download my previously purchased music from itunes, but when I go to the purchased list, only my apps appear! How can I find and download my music??

Either Look in the iTunes Store on your iPhone or look in the iTunes Store in the iTunes Program on your desktop, laptop or whatever you have. Then if you go to "Not in my Library" or "Not on my iPhone" then your purchses that aren't on the device should appear. Make sure you are looking at the correct section such a Music, Apps, TV Shows etc if youre on a computer. If you are on your iPhone and you want music or video then go on the iTunes store, if you want Apps, then go to the App Store.

  • Can't sync music or podcasts after update to iOS4

Just upgraded my iPhone 3G to iOS4. Since doing this, iTunes can no longer sync music or podcasts to the iPhone. Only the apps will sync. iTunes claims the files cannot be found - despite the fact that they are all listed correctly in iTunes and all play fine if I double-click on them in iTunes. I've done a complete reset of the iPhone and configured it from scratch and the problem remains. I'm at a total loss as to what to do. Everything worked fine before the update. The only possible oddity in my set-up is that the music files in iTunes are stored on another Mac in the house, mounted as a shared drive - but this hasn't caused any issues previously.
All my computers are Macs running 10.6.4 and all latest updates. Help!!

Problem solved itself - eventually. Solution was to reboot the computer and reconnect to iTunes. When iPhone was connected to iTunes a message appeared which said that the iPhone restore had been previously interrupted and did I want to resume, restart or cancel. Ironically, whilst choosing resume and restart failed every time, by selecting cancel the system proceeded to correctly sync all the music. Go figure.
