I cant turn the music on sometimes

hey, i just installed my ios6 but somehow whenever aftr im finished plug in my phone or charger it, i couldnt turn my music on for a while. but it will working after that....any idea whts happening with mine ??

Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds.
If the media still does not appear, restore the device via iTunes.
All of the media should be in iTunes already, soley storing media on a portable device that could easily be lost, stolen, or damaged is simply unintelligent.

What do you mean 'cant get the music that is in my music lib' ?
If you mean that it's on your computer's iTunes library then connect your device to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync your music to the device.
If it's an iOS device, then depending upon what country that you are in then you might also be able to redownload some/all of your past iTunes music purchases via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on it

itunes will only sync with an ios device.
On the other hand, if you have a usb cord for your mp3 player, and you know what FOLDER your itunes music is located in (and for me its located at C:\Users\YOUR NAME HERE\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media )
you can just select that folder and copy it to your mp3 player.
typically when you first plug in something like an mp3 player you get a windows alert asking if you want to view the contents of the device- say yes. copy your itunes folder to the music folder on your mp3 player.

Restore the device as new via iTunes on the computer.

I'm having sound problems that have not been resolved, I have a smart TV and cant stream the music?

I have not had issue resolved. I have tried everything and no results. I don't want to have to start at default starting, have so much on my computer. music that I cant even burn cd's or video's. this is crazy. I'm getting fustrated. I've got a smart TV and cant even steam the music. I haven't had my computer even a year yet. I have looked at the postings and seams to me that this is a ongoing problem with all of the pavilion dv6 and the dv7's.... Must be a problem with just these models? I need someone from tech to call me so that we can resolve this problem or get a new computer? I paid for the extended warranty and expect it to work for me? Very disappointed? The error often has the name of the extension in it in some manner, '''supply the message wording''' then at least we'd have an idea of what you see. Plus we really don't know what you did look at, or what you actually tried of what you did look at.
For instance "AVG Free" shows something like tavgp in the message, if I recall correctly, so they aren't always real obvious unless you've seen it before.
But if you really went through some of help pages you would have tried in Safe Mode, gone through the diagnostics, and almost certainly gone through all your extensions turning half off then have of those on or have of those just turned off back on again and repeat -- not fun but it doesn't take a real long time, but I'd rather try other ways first, because I have a lot of extensions and many are already turned off because of Firefox changes for the worse, certainly not because I don't need them.

i put the music on my ipod but when i look for it i cant find it i can plug it into my computer and it will play off of that and when i look at the folder it shows it in there but when i unplug my ipod and attempt to listen to the music i cant find it on my ipod

I cant get the music to play properly with headphones attached

when my music is playing and the headphones are not plugged in, the music plays normally.. when they are pluhhed however, the music sounds deformed, [i cant hear the singer] but can i hear the music playing.. i tried pulling the plug and putting it back in 12 or so times i reset my ipod [i held the home and lock buttons] and i reset my settings.. i dont know what to do now..

First try another pair of earphones
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Check also Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing. Make sure that the sound balance is not set all the way to "R".
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

How do you turn the music off in the pull up window at the bottom of the iPad?

Ever since the latest update there is no volume unless I plug in earbuds. I figured out that if music was on it would over ride you tube or any other venue I wanted to watch...so I know to shut off everything if I want to hear random items. BUT in the pull up window for quick adjustments at the bottom of the iPad I see my music is always on! How do I turn it off? How do I delete songs, artists I don't want?

The problem is : that because this is always on my external speaker will not emit sound. The music over rides EVERYTHING. Is there no way of turning all music off? This is a major problem for me. If I want to share a video of a grandchild with someone there is NO volume without earbuds. I've reset ALL settings (suggestion from Apple) it worked till I plugged my earbuds in the first time after the reset.
I know how to double click on the home button to bring up all open apps and swipe up to close them BUT it doesn't close them from the quick adjustment window at the bottom pull up window. It shows music still playing.
This all started with the latest update! I think it's a glitch in the system.
