I cant type and use the touchpad, I got this for causal gaming and I really need help.

If im holding down ANY key the touchpad doesnt work, I have the touchpad on no delay so I can move it right after i stop holding a button, but i cant move and aim at the same time, please help!

I understand that you cannot use the Touchpad and the key functions at the same time. Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the mouse and Touchpad gestures. In the document, it shows you how to change the settings by clicking the settings icon to adjust the button actions on the Touchpad. Sometimes this is caused by an update that is needed. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that might need updating. The OS X Lion installer takes more than 4 GB of space, so it is normal for most Internet connections to take the download more than an hour.
If you want to see the download progress, open the Mac App Store and go to Purchases.
Before upgrading, make a backup of your files with Time Machine and check that your apps are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com

You should be able to log into your account via the Store > Sign In menu option - if the drop-down menus aren't showing the control-B should them to show.
Your balance should be accessible wherever you are signed into the account. My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option (that option will only show after you've signed in).

Just using an adapter will be fine. The charger can handle to 220V just as well as the 110V

"Using the Filter HUD to Search for Referenced Files" (and "Locate Referenced Files")

I am trying to follow the Help Documentation item "Using the Filter HUD to Search for Referenced Master" (not sure if there is a way to post a URL to this) and I am not seeing what it is telling me to do.
I am going to Edit > Find and it is telling me to "Click the Filter HUD button beside the search field in the Browser". Is this referring to a browser in the Aperture UI or is this in the Filter HUD display? I am not finding this.
Also, it saying that in the Filter HUD I should "choose File Status from the Add Filter pop-up menu, and select the 'File Status' checkbox." and I am not seeing this either. Does anyone know where this is at?
Lastly, I see that there is a command called File > Locate Referenced Files and when I run this I get a "No Referenced Files in the /current/ selection. I have realized that I don't quite understand whether I am running this search for a specific Project and/or whether I have to make a specific selection in the left hand pane when I run a FILTER HUD or whether this automatically defaults to search the whole database. Does it matter what I have selected in the current Browser View when I run either of these commands?

1. Just copy and paste the URL from the on-line User Manual. Very helpful. Are you on this page?
2. From the above-linked page:

The instructions specify ONE of the following. Your question indicates to me that you are trying to do both.
3. The User Manual has used the wrong term here. It should say "Choose 'File Status' from the 'Add RULE' pop-up menu."
4. The command -- like all commands? -- works on the currently selected Images. On the same page in the User Manual it says:
You can select a group of images in the Browser and Aperture can show a list of the referenced images within the selection, including information about where the masters are located. {Emphasis mine.}
5. The Aperture workspace is highly configurable. I don't know what you mean by "the left-hand pane". Of what?
6. Yes. Of course it matters. At some point in the 80's when the GUI became standard computers standardized on the "Noun→Verb" syntax: Select object(s), select command(s).

Can I wipe off the OS on a IMAC and use the IMAC as a monitor for a MAC Mini

I have an IMAC that can not be upgraded from Snow Leopard because it is too old. I was wondering if there is a way to maybe wipe off the OS and use the machine as a monitor attached to a new MAC mini so I could have mountain lion?

No; some iMac models support video in, in which case wiping the OS off won't help, but all of those can be upgraded to newer OSes. The other iMac models can only be used as a monitor through Virtual Network Computing, which requires a separate monitor to set up, and that the iMac has an OS installed.

I would like to have the purchased version running on my new Mac and not pay the monthly fee to use Lightroom. I have the product key in an email from when I purchased Lightroom. I also have the trial version of Lightroom installed on my computer but my trial version has expired. How do I validate the Product Key? Thank you!

If the trial version is not presenting you with an option to activate it then you might be best off just uninstalling it and reinstalling via the download link(s) below...

I'm trying to use the VPP to buy apps for iPads but it says I need to use a different apple id?

We are a small, private school that recently purchased 40 iPad minis to use in the classroom. We have been using Apple Configurator and iTunes to manage the free apps on the iPads. Now we would like to purchase some apps and I went through the steps to enroll in the VPP. I was looking around today and when I tried to sign into the app store through the VPP it said that I couldn't use the same apple ID because it was assciated with iTunes. Do I need to create another one? WIll this interfere with the apps we already have? Or would this id only be used for the VPP and would not affect the free apps and the Apple Configurator operation? You can not login into iTunes or the App Store using VPP credentials. You must purchase all apps/book/etc. from the VPP website. Then you can redeem the codes thru itunes/app store or import the codes thru apple configurator. (It will not affect any of the apps you already have but the id can only be used for VPP.)

I am new to illustrator and am trying to trace one of my scanned sketches on Illustrator CC. I have been watching tutorials on Youtube.com and have followed every step, but when it comes to using the pen tool, I receive a pop up message reading, "Please use the add anchor point tool on a segment of a path." I researched Adobe forums and came across another discussion with someone who had the same problem. After making the changes that people suggested to the other person's discussion, the problem still occurred with me. I am still getting the same message even after making sure I have deselected Snap to grid, etc. Can anyone please help me out!?

It sounds to me like you're using the Add Anchor Point tool instead of the Pen tool. If you are trying to trace a scanned sketch, you'll be creating content from scratch in which case you want to use the Pen tool. The Add Anchor Point tool can only modify an existing path, it can't create one. Switch to your Pen tool and see if that helps.

I have a 640GB external hard drive that I have been using for over a year for time machine backups. My mac hard drive is now starting to fill up and I am looking to move audio, video and picture files to my external hard drive. How do I do this without messing up my time machine backups? Can I do both on the same external hard drive? Do I just make new folders on the external hard drive to move the files I want? Thanks for the help.

If you move the files you will need to get another disk to back the files up to. You don't want to have only one copy of certain files (personal, professional etc.).

Everytime i use mission control and use the 3 finger swipe up it appears jagged, and seems to stutter?
