I cant uninstall Creative Cloud

I'm currently running a windows 8 Alienware M17xR4.
I cant uninstall the creative cloud program.
It wont open at all, even when I run as admin. I've tried the cleaner tool, system restore, uninstalling from the control panel. It just wont respond. It doesnt do anything and when I click it again it comes up with a message telling me to wait until it has finished being changed or uninstalled. I also cant reinstall the app either. I've downloaded the set up wizard and it pops up with an initializing window with a loading bar (after it's asked me if I want the program to make changes to my computer) but after a certain point it just disappears from my screen and my task manager.
Whenever it does come up in my task manager, it says 32 bit, when my computer is running as a 64 bit.

Hi Violet.  Nice laptop!   Sounds like you have got into some trouble there, and it might be tricky to sort it out.  You could try System Restore to get you back to a point before you started the uninstall process.  I don't know if the Cleaner tool will have made that impossible though.
Did you do the uninstall through the Application Manager, or Control Panel?  I suggest best practice is to restart the laptop, and run the Application Manager as Administrator, and uninstall your CC apps from there.  Then uninstall the Application Manager from the Control Panel.
I don't know if this will help

I cant Access  creative cloud on my windows 8.1 desktop, how can i fix it ?

I'm wondering if I'm having the same issue. When I try to launch the Creative Cloud app, the app appears to launch, but the main area is white.
I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit - all updates are applied.
Here are some things I've tried:
    I've tried restarting my computer.
    Disabling my firewall/antivirus (Avast)
Uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app.

  • When reverting to purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro point product, after uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop (and CC-based Acrobat XI Pro), how do I eliminate request to renew my subscription?

Creative Cloud just wasn't working for me, so after several years of frustration with being abroad and not online when the program decided to require online verification, I'm ditching Creative Cloud and reverting to the purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro point product. However, after uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop (and CC-based Acrobat XI Pro), it still wants to go online and check my CC subscription, disallowing use of the newly installed point product version from a several year-old ESD file (and the more recent AcrobatUpd11010.dmg file).
Anyone have an idea of how to eliminate request to renew my subscription?
If, as a journalist, I've have these issues over the past two years, including this final insult when I'm trying to get away from CC, it can't be a one-off problem. So I'd like to hear details about others who've had a similar issue with reverting from CC back to a point product or to CS.
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hi dmomoney24  ,
Kindly refer : CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.
Please revert if the problem persists.

  • How do I uninstall creative cloud on my old laptop and  reinstall creative cloud on my new laptop?

How do I uninstall creative cloud on my old laptop and  reinstall creative cloud on my new laptop?

There is no need to uninstall on the old machine, but you can sign out thru the CC Manager if you like and then uninstall like you would any other software (depends on your operating system).
To install on the new machine repeat what you did originally with the old machine...
Download/install the desktop application, sign in, install the subscription application(s).

Simply sign out on the old computer and install on the new one. No magic involved beyond that (barring technical difficulties, of course).

  • Trial version of AcrobatXI uninstalled, Creative Cloud thinks it installed?

How can I install Acrobat XI when Creative Cloud says it is up to date and already installed?
I uninstalled it prior to purchasing and installing Creative Cloud on the recommendation of customer service.
CC will not let me install Acrobat now?

That is interesting.  After a couple of tries deactivating and uninstalling then reinstalling Creative Cloud with no success, I tried the following:
I uninstalled Creative Cloud and any Adobe remnants.  I logged out of my account, shut down the computer and restarted logging on to the Adobe website.  I tried to download the trial of Acrobat XI, it wouldn't let me install in the applications folder but would let me install it on my main computer folder.  I installed it, the app showed up in the Applications folder I then logged into my Adobe account and  installed Creative Cloud.  It all worked.  That was the only way I could get the Acrobat XI application on the computer.
Adobe XI shows installed and up to date and it allowed me to install Light Box and other Adobe apps as well.  Adobe XI when opened makes no reference to a "trial version".  It works like it is supposed to and I'm hoping it continues.  5 days and all is well so far.
