I cant uninstall the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery , pls help me
hi my shows 100 % whem i plugged in and when i plugged out its goes well but after 15 mins laptop automaticaly shut down and i hav to start again with power button but it doesnt work , so when i going to apply the other mehod which is uninstall the acpi battery control method i cant unisntall the component from battery so any help will be appreciated thx

I have a HP Pavilion g6-2218nr. I'm going to be honest. I had my laptop open and was walking by it with some stuff in my hand. I dropped one of the items which was approx 5 lbs and it landed on the keyboard. I was running my HP Webcam, and was running Google Chrome with YouTube and Facebook going. I had a Melon +36 dBi Flat Panel Antenna attached to the laptop. Well basically when this item landed on the keyboard, my computer froze up completely. I had no functioning of the keyboard. I tried inputting Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager and nothing. The only thing I could think to do is hold the main power down and let it power off. When I tried powering back on the screen stayed black, the HDD light icon on the right wouldn't light up, the CD/DVD Drive seemed to make a noise when booting up, but nothing would load on the laptop. I have had some experience involving A+ training/certification, so I took the panel off and re-seated the RAM. It looked loose or off a bit so I did that, and it started working again. Later on that day it quit working again, so I re-seated the RAM again, and this time nothing. I took the entire computer apart, and put it back together, and still nothing. That night, I re-seated that first stick of RAM, and it was working again. So I figured I would try getting online, but my Melon Antenna, and an Alfa AWUS036H are now not being recognized, and comes up as "USB device not recognized The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." Beforehand both of these devices were plug-and-play, and nothing was going wrong. Also my camera is not being recognized. I also noticed that when I connected through my laptop's built in wireless card it asked for the passphrase, which it was normally not doing as well. It seems my laptop is doing many odd things, but I'm hoping with all these signs maybe someone can help me out, or it might appear more apparent to someone else (other than the fact I need to be more careful) When I took the laptop apart and inspected the motherboard and other components everything seemed to be fine, so if anything it'd have to be something small, barely noticeable. G770 on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller
I have been searching everywhere on the Lenovo support/driver site and on the Internet. I just updated to Windows 8 Pro and have found that my device manager has an alert. It in in other devices, titled under unknown device with a heading of on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.
I am trying to find how to fix this. I had the same problem on a Toshiba but somehow I accidentally fix that laptop. But the Lenovo G770 has me stumped.
Please let me know what to do to correct this problem. I saw something about a Trusted Device or so but still can not find anything. I also searched Mircosoft but they tell you to go back to the laptop manufacturer.Download Power management at this site http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html

My phone was put into recovery mode and I know that not all data is deleted it just puts the phone into a sort of hibernation in order for the files to stay uncorrupted. I went to http://www.recovery-ipad.com/iphone-stuck-in-recovery-mode.html downloaded the software it unlocked my phone in a matter of minutes. Calls, messages, photos, apps, and voicemail was all there as if it never happened If you leave it unregistered you don't have to pay for it works for either windows or mac. Hope this helps!

while updating the older version iTunes to latest one it shows "a network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: C:\windows\installer\iTunes64.msi. pls help on this matter to connect my i5 to PC. Thanks in advance
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

Have you asked your mobile phone operator to turn on roaming for you? and if you have you will need to turn on DATA ROAMING on the iPhone by going to SETTINGS > GENERAL > MOBILE DATA and turn on DATA ROAMING. You should then be able to see the various Indian Networks listed in SETTINGS > CARRIER and be able to make/receive calls.
If you are in India and didn't ask for Roaming to be activated on your mobile account you're stuck until you return to the UK.
OR
If you have a 'locked' phone that is tied to the UK operator then you will need to find a phone shop that unlocks iPhones but beware this invalidates any Apple Warranty. If you are still in the UK then phone the mobile operator and ask then to unlock your iPhone which they usually do if its not in a contract with them or at the end of the contract period.

Do you add or change the card details or the name and address on your account on each purchase ? The holding charge check will be done each time that you do so to check that they are still valid - even if it's the same card it will still need to do the check to make sure that the card is still active.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

Hi - I had installed the Microsoft Office 2011 program before and then there was an upgrade available. After doing the upgrade...there was a constant error message whenver I opened any related programs, so I deleted the program files. But now when I try to redownload it, there is an error message to say something like: "the office file is not found on this disk to perform this upgrage" (those are not the exact words). But it seems as though it's trying to upgrade but I want to reinstall the entire [program

I upgraded from version 3.6.15 to 4.0.1. After upgrading the program doesn't open. I keep getting a message that "Firefox must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade. Do you want to reboot now?" I rebooted 3 times with no success. I also tried to uninstall the program and I get the same message! In other words I can't even uninstall. The previous version ran fine. Any suggestions?
