I cant update iphone error 3194

I've a iPhone 3G/s with iOS 4.1. When i try to update it with iOS 5.0.1 it says verifying with apple and then gives me an error 3194. Ive googled the internet and tried many things, changed hosts file,tried to download apple's ipsw and put it in DFU mode but nothing works. Please help me!

Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. FollowiTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

IPad 3 won't start up (broken screen aswell) and when restoring/updating gives errors 3194 or 4005

Like the title says, I have an iPad 3 from a friend which has a broken screen and won't start up anymore. He is not sure whether it's just the screen or
something else aswell. So I'm able to get it recognized by itunes if I put it in recovery/dfu mode. Then I try restoring it but I get the error 4005 most of the time.
It has nothing to do with the solutions given when I search for error 4005 on google (like hosts file and stuff) because I can easily update my iPhone and my sisters' iPhone. With a program called TinyUmbrella I'm able to get it recognized in iTunes WITHOUT the ipad being in recovery mode, because the program has an option to kick it back out of recovery mode. Then I'm able to access the pictures and delete apps all that stuff in itunes/windows, but I still do not get anything on the screen. So then I tried updating to ios 7 because the iPad was still on ios 6.1.3 but then I get error 3194 which is kinda the same as 4005. Also tried restoring but that gave the same error.
So now i'm unsure whether the iPad would work if I replace the screen, because it seems to function properly when I can kick it out of recovery with TinyUmbrella. But then I thought, even if I did replace the screen, I still wouldn't be able to update the OS or restore? I don't want to waste my money replacing the screen if it won't even work afterwards..
Yes I tried different usb ports, yes I tried different cables, yes I tried the hosts file thing, I don't have an antivirus installed (only 'antivirus' I have is malware bytes, windows firewall is off, tried on a different computer, tried on a mac, ... I don't think this is the reason because my iPhone updates perfectly.
I did notice though that when restoring when the iPad is in recovery that it would say "waiting for ipad" but then my windows pc says "usb device not recognized" , maybe this has something to do with it?

This Mac mini is a refurbished one, so probably had some old settings from being connected to something different before.
The TV now is recognized properly as 'Philips FTV'.

Okay so, i have been trying to update iOS 4.3.2 - 4.3.3 and everytime i try i get the error 3194
I have tried restoring it and updating it, shift and restore/update, still wont work.
It has never been jailbroken and was bought unlocked from apple.
I also tried editing the hosts so it doesnt verify with apples server. still no luck.
I have admittly an iphone 3gs which i dont use anymore and is jailbroken which i synced with itunes once. would this effect my problem?

Yes, if you used the same computer that can cause this error, however, removing any lines containing gs.apple.com from the hosts file, then rebooting, should fix it. Actually, those lines in the hosts file PREVENTS the phone from verifying with the Apple server, which is necessary to jailbreak the phone.
If you are sure you removed the lines from the correct Hosts file and you still have the problem your antivirus may be blocking access to gs.apple.com.

Update & Recovery Error 3194

A few days ago i tried updating my ipod touch 5th generation to the latest update(as the previous update made my ipod crash a few times).
Prior to updating it i had moved all my photos to iphoto as there wasnt enough space on the ipod.
i then downloaded the software but when i went to update it later on in itunes it crashed and said that my ipod went in to recovery mode .
i tried restoring it but all i get is error 3194... i did some research on what the error meant it says its because my ipod is jailbroken WHICH IT IS NOT.
so im confused as in what to do , should i take it to the genius bar ?
Ps: I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THE TROUBLESHOOTING SUGGESTIONS , NONE OF THEM WORK.

Cant update iphone software

Everytime I try to update my iphone 4 to ios 4.3.3 I get an error. The download appears to complete judging by the time remaining at the top of itunes, but then a minute or so later an error message comes up saying there was a problem downloading the software as the network connection has timed out.
itunes 10.3.1.55 and iphone ios 4.2.1.
Is it just me? getting very frustrated.

I had the same problem, had to disable my inbuilt Mac firewall, then downloaded, then turned firewall back on.

Just hold down the power button on the iPhone and then slide the power slider over.

Hi I'm suffering with this issue Bug#3506758 - MySQL 5.6 Unable to Execute Queries
and therefore am trying to update cf 10 to version 13 (current version is 8) however I get 'Error occurred while installing the update: Failed Signature verification'
I'm running Mavericks on Mac.
Can anyone point me to a step by step way to resovle this please (I'm new to Macs and am a cf coder but alas dont have any experience in server admin).

I was going to suggest that you needed to install the mandatory updater, but the Adobe help page for it says you shouldn't need to if you already have update 8 installed. Might be worth verifying though.

I have tried to update my Iphone I currently have 4.2.1, but my other iphone is now on 4.3. when I try to update itunes tells me my software is upto date.

The only iPhone models supported by iOS 4.3 are iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. If you have an earlier model, it won't work.
