I cant update to ISO 5 It contiously is runing backing up IPhone for 4.5 hrs. Tried this 3 times. Operating system 4.3.5(8L1
Tried to update Saturday and Sunday to new ISO 5. Unit sees my IPhone , starts backup of phone but stays in this mode for over 3.h hrs. What can I do?
Are you trying to update by clicking the 'Check For Updates' button on the Summary tab ? You will need the latest version of iTunes on your computer to be able to update the iPad.
These are the instructions that I usually give people : connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

Your iPad will update to iOS 6, so you will lose the built-in YouTube app and the Maps app will change.

my iPod appeared to be dead, i plugged it into my computer to charge and it said it needed to be restored. it updated it and now is stuck and my itunes says "waiting for iPod" and has been this way for hours. i've tried to hold down the home and power button and nothing happens!! my computere and itunes recognizes the iPod, but the iPod its self is completely unresponsive!! and helpoful hints?

Canon EOS 100D is listed as compatible in Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.01 and when I have checked for software updates there are none available. I've downloaded the Canon software, connected to my mac via the cable and followed the instructions in the manual. Sadly I just get a message saying it's not compatible with the operating system. I've tried inserting the memory card into the mac to and it doesn't seem to see it. Can anyone help please?
Camera RAW ≠ Camera driver, the RAW update is for the .CR2 canon raw image file (in your case) compatibility.
What happens when you try to import photos using Image Capture or iPhoto?
Can you take a screenshot of the error message?
I always prefer and recommend using memory card import over using the camera. -
it says i dont have enough storage but it let me update my ipad not my phone so i decided to create a new apple id but i cant change my id in i cloud with out having all my pictures deleted .. i need help i dont want to delete all my pics again ..

if you select the MacOSXUpdCombo10.7.5.dmg file which you’d downloaded, and press ⌘i to Get Info on it, what information is shown for it under ▼ General: Size? My initial guess is that you could have an incomplete download of that file. -

after i updated my itunes to version 11.1.4.62 (as of 29/01/2014) and after i plugged my usb cable connected with my iphone, my iphone didn't appear as usual on the itunes for syn but my window 8 do pick up the iphone device and the iphone is charging as normal.

In order for you to solve this problem you have to follow these stept if your running windows:
1'st step is to go into the device manager
2 step is to go to portable devices (it is rught under network adapters)
3 step is to right clic apple iphone and click update drivers
4 step is to brows your drivers from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that your itunes will pump up alown and youl see your iphone right there.

I updated the latest sofftware from Apple and have received a message - MSVCR80.dll is missing from computer. I tried several times to reinstall but haver the same error message come and now I can't open itunes.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Error -43 when backing up iPhone for update 5.0
I'm trying to update 5.0 on my iPhone 3gs and am getting error -43 when the phone is being backed up. Help! I waited a half a week hoping that the problem would go away, but it hasn't.
I've read that some other users have erased everything on their iPhone so that they could update, and then manually installed everything after, but I don't have half a day to spend on this.
Any ideas?Well, I've since taken the plunge and tried to update anyway, by restoring the iPhone, thinking I could restore from my backups. Now turns out that I can't restore because "the backup session failed". Goddammit.
This is the biggest problem I have with my iPhone, that iTunes is such an abominable piece of software. I just want to get iOS 5 on this phone so I can leave iTunes behind.
