I cant upload attached files

I attach a file to upload and it doesnt go thru. I get a message:
not sent technical problem
I use aol 1.7

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

1) load the attatchments ADFrc af:inputFile (http://technology.amis.nl/blog/2297/adf-faces-file-uploading-it-is-really-that-simple)
2) store the loaded data in the DB -> mysql doc or google should have the needed information

Hi! So I had the same problem... I don't know if you still have it but here goes a possible solution: When you open the window to select the file, at left side of the folder selector you will see a view option. Select it and choose "None".

Upload / Attach File in form

I'm new to the LiveCycle Designer, so please bare with me.
I need to design a form that will allow a user to link/attach files. When the user submits the form we would like the form to link to the documents like a hyperlink.
Please help the newbie.

Does this mean that it is possible to do the following:
1. Create an FDF that has some 'browse' fields that allow the customer to attach up to 10 files (PDF, JPG, DOC, etc.) which are then submitted with the completed FDF.
2. Using a 'submit' button on the FDF, post the FDF and customer files that they uploaded (in the FDF itself) to a URL on a website.
3. Have the website page extract the form data, write it to a database, and save any attachements to an appropriate folder. If the attached/embedded(?) files can't be saved to a folder, then have them separately emailed to a designated address.
4. Allow the customer to save the completed FDF so they have a record of exactly what they submitted.
5. Allow the customer to complete the FDF over time. E.g. spend 20mins filling out part of it today, save it, then do the rest tomorrow and submit.
Does all this sound possible?
I don't need to do this work myself (I'll get a contractor for that) I just need to know that it can be done.
Help would be greatly appreciated!

Problem in uploading attachment files through automation scripts using Oracle Application Testing Suite(OATS)

I am using OATS tool for writing automation scripts to test a web-based application . But I am facing problem when the requirement is to upload any file from the system to that web application .
Actually the behavior of the script or I guess of OATS is inconsistent as the attachment file is getting upload sometime and
fails to do so at the other time .
I have observed a strange case also ,i.e whenever i am executing the scripts while sharing my system screen on webex meeting
then the attachment upload results in failure . What can be the proper solution for doing file upload using automation script ??

Can you please check whether the sync has been taken care before performing the upload operation. If the sync is taken care then the upload should work always

Cant open attached files Dreamweaver CC update August

I installed the brandnew DW CC update from today (August, 27th, 2013) and now I cannot open the connected files any more in this subtab which shows all related (attached files), for instance the css file. Opening a file by its own is working.
Its always prompting that the cetrain file is not in the local directory and if I want to get it. Trying this also throws an error message.
The css file is working properly, it is stored locally and I can open it on its own.
It seems to be a bug with the new update?

I could isolate the problem. All my files are stored on a NAS, because we are six programmers. As sson as I store the site files locally on my Mac, DW finds the all dependend files and opens it. Its a problem with the path. Path to my NAS is shown when hovering over the name of attached file in the tabs: NameOfLocalHD:NameOfFolderOnNAS:NameOfProjectFolder:AndSoOn:NameOfFile.css
I know that Adobe is recommending to store files locally, but this is no options for us. Every programm and tool we are using is able to handle a NAS and server-environment. So should DW!
Please fix this bug, as it was working before the update.

Safari cant upload/download files, other browsers crash

MY Ipad 3th generation can't upload or download any files in Safari From the new Ios 8.
This have nothing to do with Safari because other browsers like Chrome crash directly if you want to upload a file from your photo library.
This all happened after the update to Ios 8.
I hope that they come fast with an update.

Why cant i attach files to emails I am sending?

All of a sudden Thunderbird will not allow me to attach files to outgoing emails. When i compose an email and either click on the paperclip icon or go to Files/Attach/Files, nothing happens. I can no longer get a Finder window (using Mac).

Nope. The other strange thing is that my tabs are acting a bit strange. In the past the main tab had my list of accounts and if I clicked on one of them it would switch the listing in the main window. Now I have to open up a new tab (control click and then select Open in New Tab) in order to be able to read the emails; otherwise everything freezes up.

Cant upload large files to Sharepoint site through S-160 proxy

Hi, I've got the following setup in our Windows AD infrastructure. Client admin websites hosted in our dmz, whose url is accessed via an externally hosted DNS reference. I've built up an Ironport S-160 to replace a defrunct Bluecoat and have trouble uploading files larger than 40kb to the admin sites via Sharepoint. After a while the connection times out saying the max size limit has been exceeded, however sharepoint is set to a maximum for 50mb uploads.
The S-160 is using NTLMSSP as it's authentication scheme on the global identity policy and I've created an authentication exemption identity for the sharepoint admin sites. But from what I can determine the only way you can upload is to set the authentication on the admin sites to basic, which means you would be transmitting your login credentials in clear text over the internet.
Has anyone an idea how i can persuade the S-160 to authenticate to the admin sites, whilst using NTLMSSP and not using basic authentication? I found this url (http://serverfault.com/questions/101127/couldnt-upload-files-to-sharepoint-site-while-passing-through-squid-proxy) which detailed a similar problem but they decided to use basic + ssl which I think is still a bad idea.

Come on! Surely there is someon out there who has run into this problem before?

Cant Upload Mp3 files to Sony Mp3 player

Hi,
My g/f has a Sony 'Walkman' Mp3 player and I can't upload Mp3s from my ibook to her player. Or, more precisely, the player appears on my desktop and in my finder and I can copy the Mp3 files to it. However, when we disconnect the player the files are not there to be played. Or, at least we can't find them.
My 'Transcend' Mp3 player made in Taiwan has no such problem. Is this a Sony problem? What to do does anyone know?

Shopping cart attachment file

Can you tell me where the attachment file for shopping cart & RFC is saved in SRM?
I uploaded attachment file from SRM portal but not sure where its stored now.
Table BBP_PDATT has only attachment information. but where the physical file stored?
I have configured SAP content server in CSADMIN/OACT. but how did SC document recognize content server?

1) First I created shopping cart in SRM portal with attachment. but i could not see table BBPCONT
BBP_TRANSCONTENT is updated. There is no increase in number of entries in table.
But i can see the attachment info is stored in BBP_PDATT table except physical file content.
Where does it store now?
2)To configure contentserver, I used below setting for content server as u said.
and save the attachment in shopping cart. how to find its stored in content server?

Documnt area is EBP document area(should i have to use Document management system?)
Storage type as HTTP Content server
Content table changed as ContentServer/ContentServer.dll
Also can you tell me whether storage category has to be defined for cotnent repository?

Attaching files directly from Photostream on PC

Photostream appears to be working fine on my PC and between my iPad 2 and iPhone 5. The issue I have is that while I can browse thumbnails, run slideshows, etc. on my photostream, if I wish to upload a file I have to first copy aand paste the image to a non-photostream location. I.e. I can't upload / attach directly from photostream.
Does anyone know how to upload / attach files to an application (e.g. gmail) directly from photostream? I've had no luck with searches on this matter.

If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, there should be a setting in its preferences such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected. Otherwise do as follows.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

You would need to save the file to your desktop and upload it from there for conversion using your ExportPDF subscription.
