What version of Muse are you using? If it's not 2014.2, please go to the Creative Cloud Desktop App or creative.adobe.com and update.
The FTP login failure is most likely due to your host not supporting FTP Extended Passive Mode. In Muse 2014.2 switch to "Passive (PASV)" in the Connect to FTP Server dialog.
Regarding performance, how large is your site (in pages and megabytes)? How many Design view tabs are open? What specific operations are slow?
If you'd like to send your .muse file, I'll take a look and attempt to isolate the cause of slow performance. Please send me the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks.

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
I have an itouch that will not let me sign in to my itunes account. The email address that it is associated with is no longer valid. You cannot. From a legal standpoint, the license agreement for OS X mandates that you run OS X only on Apple hardware. HP is not (yet) owned by Apple.
From a technical standpoint, your HP laptop doesn't use EFI, but rather an early predecessor called a BIOS. Apple is the only vendor of consumer computer hardware that uses EFI; other vendors reserve EFI for use in servers.
Secondly, Apple's operating systems support a rather limited number of configurations of video hardware and mainboard chipsets directly since they need only support those systems that they manufacture. You cannot use Windows software or drivers on OS X, so prior to installation, you would need to write your own hardware drivers for your laptop, create an OS X drive image on a Mac, and then modify that image with your drivers before putting it in the HP.
It will be simpler (and legal), to simply purchase a used Mac. Apple's online store has refurbished MacBook Airs starting at $850 and Mac Minis for $700. If you go to e-bay or craigslist, you'll find used Macs for considerably less. -
I have the latest Mac Air 13" and I have a Seagate 500MB external hard disk I cant copy or Cut any files on the hard disk and I cant even delete any files. I have the settings as Read and Write in the get info tab. Please helpand also note that my hard drive was formatted on a Windows 7 Laptop.
thats the problem, its in MSDos (Fat) or NTFS for Windows.

1. offload all that data on the HD onto your PC, THEN format the HD in EXFAT for use on BOTH PC and Mac for read/write.....then reload all (or as you need) that data back onto the HD
2. get another HD, and format it for Mac OSX extended journaled.

Read/Write FAT32 from both native Windows and native Mac OS X.
Maximum file size: 4GB.
Maximum volume size: 2TB
You can use this format if you share the drive between Mac OS X and Windows computers and have no files larger than 4GB.

What is the correct procedure to connect and collect events from IPS through SDEE?
We are a 3rd party application, that needs to collect and analyze the IPS events for a client.
Currently the approach we are following is
1) get a SubscriptionId using the URL below

This gets us a subscriptionId which is used in step 2
2) Collect events from the url below

a few more notes here are
- starttime is current time in nanoseconds
the peculiar problem here is that, even though we specify todays date, SDEE returns us the events from mid Feb (today is march 7)
we did try a few combinations, but are out of ideas.

Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Not empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.

The 802.11ac router has a fast download speed, but the upload speed is half what it used to be. Am I doing something wrong?
I have the router in brigde mode and I have the fios actiontec Rev I router. I am love the router because it is consistent around my house.Here is what helped for me. My comcast service stopped connecting. I started by shutting down the modem (sb6121) and the airport extreme ac, taking note of the DNS setting, then after a few minutes connecting.
I had to do it several times, and then, for some reason, the DNS settings changed, and things have been great ever since (knock on wood). I am not one of the experts on the innards of things around here, but my DNS settings got reset automatically, and the problem went away.
If it were to happen again, I would repeat the process, and if it persisted, I would change the DNS settings (network-advanced-dns). I could give you the settings that work for me, but I suspect they are really for those in Oregon. Check out your dns settings, write them down, and do a web search for appropriate dns for you.
Sorry, I don't understand this part of the tech world, but this is what worked for me.

I have a serious problem and I hope someone can help me
I have just registered a domain via my web-host and wanted to build a quick "under construction" banner on that website
if I upload the website to the ftp server through Muse it shows only the "under construction" text although there should be a logo and an image as well
the text and logo get displayed on my iPhone but not the image though (logo is .png, image is.jpeg)
After the ftp upload is done, Muse automatically opens the website and shows only the text (as mentioned above).
But if I type in the URL like a normal person I just land on the ugly standard "under development" - splash screen .
all files should be in the public.html folder but I'm not sure.
I have no idea what I did wrong ?

Can you check with multiple browsers and verify if you still get start page without image and logo ? Browser cookie can be the reason here.
Secondly , Do you see any difference in page url that is opened after upload to ftp finishes and then one that shows "under development" ?
If the url is not same , then login to your host account and remove the page associated with the content you dont want to show up and assign start page the one which includes the images and logo.
