Why is my draw cloud greyed out such that I can't use it or draw polygon or draw connected lines under the Drawing Markups tab?

Is your phone still signed in with your old iTues ID for iCloud (in Settings>iCloud)?

OK paper weight is harsh, but i made the upfront investment to have longevity ....
Reality:
- We can't predict what Apple will do, we can only go on past behavior.
- For the past decade Apple has stopped pretty much all support for anything except the current and previous operating system (OS) version. Apple has brought out a new OS version roughly every 2 years. This translates to roughly 4 years of update support. In some cases Apple may stretch it a bit such as iTunes also still working under OS 10.5 (we're now on 10.7), but iTunes isn't an OS. I do know with the recent malware incident Apple did not bring out a fix for any OS earlier than 10.6. Now there's an interesting change ahead. Apple brought out Lion last year and is likely to bring out Mountain lion this year. We're now on a 1 year upgrade cycle. If Apple continues past pattern on only supporting the last two OS versions it means your OS basically only has an effective lifespan of 2 years instead of 4. Longevity?
- Hardware. We bought an iphone last December. I asked the person in the store about battery life. He said, "Oh, at least two years but you'll be thinking about getting rid of this one by then and getting a newer one." Two years.
I don't remember the exact criteria, but Lion won't run on the earliest Intel Macs (2006) and Mountain Lion likely won't run on some of the middle aged ones. Snow Leopard (ca. 2009) won't run on any Mac made prior to 2006. Reviewing OS releases for the past 6 years or so it seems to me you get roughly 5 years before new OS releases won't run on your hardware any more.
So, we have software support dropping out after 4 years or so (maybe now down to 2 years???) and hardware becoming obsolete after 5 years. Is that longevity?

Why can't you use Lightroom?
Will Lightroom not install?
Do you have Lightroom 5 standalone version installed?

I am an online student and the school uses the cloud system, however, the ipad will not allow me to post a reply, anyone got an answer as to what I need to do to change this? Yes, the icloud is set up on my iPad. It is frustrating, that I cant do this.

Unfortunately yes, though technology would never move on if it kept to older standards and did not strive to do more.
The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.

Can I use i-cloud on snow leopard + another question~

Just updtaed my iphone 4 to use i-cloud, now my icloud set up is telling me to ensure that I have Snow Leopard ($29? I cant afford it now). Can put i-cloud on my MAC with Snow Leopard? Also, a question about whats saved on i-cloud... can you select and unselect individgual files that I may not want saved on the
i-cloud? Say, photos or songs I only want to remain to remain on my MAC.. some items may be sensative, and just do not want them floating in some cloud.. THANKS for your help.

Forgive me, I am so not that MAC inteligent. I thought i-cloud was a way to share content between my divices, my MAC, Iphone and that content is saved on i-cloud.. if I download a pic on my MAC, I can access it on my i-phone via cloud. If I download music on my i-phone, I can play it on my mac via i-cloud... Correct? With that said, I can not afford the LION UPgrade. So, if I am understanding correct. i-tunes in the cloud will do basicaly the same but its limited to MUSIC only?

Want to use I cloud but can't open primary email address for verification process

Hi there, it's my first time to join the Apple community eventhough I have used Ipad for about two years I guess, n have loved it since then.
Well, I have problem, I want to use I cloud, but I can't as I have to give verification first by following the instruction from Apple which has been sent to my primary email address. The problem is, I have been unable to open my primary email address because I seldom use it. I use my rescue email address for all my email communication, instead. My question is: Is there any email address of the support staff because I want the staff to send the instruction for my verification through my rescue email address?
I have looked up the support page, though, and submitted question which I thought it was the best solution: I want to change my primary email address ( to the rescuer email address) but I was refered to the page " expresslane" which should have been the most convenient way, because all I had to do was just call n talk to the support staff. However, since I don't live in the US, but in a foreign country, talking on the phone is not convenient for me.
I would really appreciate it if any one can help me with this because I can't wait to use I Cloud. Thank you.

Suzy this usually means your apple id primary email address was not verified when you setup your apple id. What you will want to do is go to appleid.apple.com and try and log in under manage your apple id, if it tells you its sent a verification email you can change that email to something else by clicking edit (this cant be your rescue email though) once done a new email should be sent that you can verify and then use icloud. Hope this helps

If your webcam is powered by USB, make sure it is attached directly to your Mac and not a USB hub. In my case, I had my Rocketfish webcam attached to a peripheral USB hub and it wasn't drawing enough power to operate at capacity. Therefore, Facetime was quitting on me and giving me that exact error message. Once I attached the webcam directly to my Mac USB port, problem solved. Hope that helps.

What context are you attempting to use it? Are you in Standalone Acrobat? If yes, then
1. Go to Edit>Preferences>General
2. Set the Touch Mode to NEVER
3. Click OK
Now you should be good to go.

I get different info when I read about how I could use creative cloud.
Somewhere it say I can install and activate on two computers but only run the applications on one computer at the time.
On antother place I read that I can use the applications on two computers at the same time.

You appear to want to believe that because you think you have a way of getting around the agreement without being caught it would be okay to do. You are bound to the agreement if you purchase the subscription. Do you understand what intentionally (and with fore-knowledge) failing to honor a contract constitutes?

Cant see my airplay icon, cant use my remote app on either of my devices

I have the gen 3 apple TV and somehow i can no longer airplay, from my mac book pro, ipad, ipad mini or iphone. It used to work on all of my devices and now I cant see the icon.
When I open my remote app it tells me that I have to turn on Home sharing on my itunes or apple tv. It is turned on, on all of my devices.
I have been trying to trouble shoot this issue (all of my devices have the latest updates) and I still cant use my remote or air play
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I was able to fix the issue by unpluging the apple tv, router, and modem all for about 2-3 minutes and then replugging them in
