I cant use skype at all!! need help now!

Question

So pretty much i had went to install the new update thinking it would solve some problems. But you know instead of fixing problems, everytime i try to call someone on skype my computer crashes. and the worst of it all is i cant go back to an older version because skype thought it was neccesary to get rid of those versions before fixing the problems with there newer versions, so pretty much im stuck without skype. any help would be appreciated.

Skype uses elements of IE in the background.  Issues with IE could be causing your problem.  Try to perform the following IE maintenance:
Reset IE settings:

Clear IE temp files:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/delete-temporary-internet-files
Download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash for IE (currently 16):
http://aihdownload.adobe.com/bin/live/install_flashplayer16x32ax_mssd_aaa_aih.exe
If the problem continues, please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit). Run dxdiag.exe (Start - Run or Win key +R) then press enter or click "OK". Once the diagnostics completes, "Save All information..." to a text file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.
(i.e. compress DxDiag.txt ---> DxDiag.zip)
