I cant verify my apple id

My apple id is working but when it says I ahve been sent the verfication email it just takes me back to setting up a new account. I can't seem to get the verification email at all. I just keep going round in circles and have net yet got any mail becasue it wont verify! What should I do?

Are your receiving the email at all?

I cant verify my apple id because they never sent me a verification email, and they wont let me resend one either.

I cant use my apple ID until I have verified the account, but when I opened the email from apple there was no link to verify my account on. I went to the apple website and it doesnt let me log in without verifying the account first, but they wont let me resend the verification email because "the email address is already verified to another apple ID"

It sounds like you are trying to make a purchase, but the two-step verification code is being sent to your old number. You can update your number using these steps:
Adding or Removing SMS Numbers
To add or remove an SMS-capable number from your account:
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID," and sign in.
Under Edit Your Apple ID, select "Password and Security."
Under Trusted Devices, select Manage.
Click Add to enter a new SMS-capable number for your Apple ID.
Click Remove next to the verified phone number associated with your Apple ID.

Verification is done via your email account.
When you create an iTunes account a verification email is sent to the primary email address that you put on the account - have you logged into that email account and checked its inbox and spam folder for a verification email ? If it's not there then try logging into the account on http://appleid.apple.com and you should be able to request a new verification email

Itunes keeps saying it cant verify my address

Trying to buy a song but itunes keeps saying that it cant verify my address, its the same address that i have always had, this is not a new account, it is the first purchess on this new comp, but i have already autherized it. when i click on the buy button screen comes up and says first time buying on this comp. verify billing info, only thing missing is my code for my credit card, all the rest (my home address) is already on the screen, i put in my CC code and then screen comes up saying it cant verify my address, but the address on the screen is right, there is nothing that needs to be changed.... any idea on whats going on? Found a fix for this. Apple must have did some updates or something. Go to this website and put your address into it.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
