I cant verify my icloud email

I read somewhere that there was a glitch with the icloud but Ive now upgraded my software and i STILL cant get icloud working. Ive tried to verify the email but it wont work... help anyone?

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account .
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether.

You can't use your existing @icloud.com email address as the primary email address for your existing Apple ID. You have to use a non-Apple email address (such as Gmail).

I didn't verify my icloud Email and now can't find it

I can't find the Email to verify my icloud account. I have tried deleting the account but everything is 'grey, and I can't click on it.

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Questions' or 'iTunes Store account security' (it appears to vary by country) and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).

You need to turn mail "ON" in settings - icloud.
You also need to verify that when you open mail app on the phone you view All inboxes.

I have recently bought my iPhone and upgraded to iOS6. In the process, it asks me to set an email to be verified so i can being using iCloud to store my data. I entered an email address but was unable to verify it as i don't have access to that email anymore. Whenever i click on settings/iCloud on my phone, it says 'Check your email (email here) for instructions t verify this account'.
Is there any possible way to change the address i entered? I've tried appleid.apple.com and manage account, but there is no way to change it!

If the email address is typed in incorrectly for receiving import information, you can change it at My Apple ID. Just log in like you normally do and it will allow you to make some changes so you can get it verified. What you want to do is change the rescue email. Check the article below for more information and if you need more assistance. Let me know if this works for you or need anything else.

The email address you choose as your Apple ID and thus your iCloud login has to be a working one - is it? (If you're not sure send a message to hyourself and see if it arrives.) That's where the verification message should be sent to by Apple so that they can check you are legitimate.

I have upgraded to Mavrick and have been having problems getting email account to work, I have deleted and installed account several times.
Help..

My email would not open either. I would click on the icon and the tool bar would pop up on the top, but no display, I had to go to the Mail icon, right click, and choose "New Viewer Window." My email reappeared. Hope that helps.

I got a bit lost in the middle of your post. If at this point you have an Apple ID with a good pasword and associated with icloud, then on a device...
Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. Then log in using a good ID.
On your mac, System Preferences>icloud>Sign Out. Then sign in with the good ID/password.
If you are still stuck with the old ID and a forgotten password, then you need to do the iforgot.com route and put back the old password, then sign into the icloud on all devices using the old password - to get in. Then sign out/log out. Finally sign in with the good ID.
BTW, your profile says 10.4.11. I hope that's old data because you can't access icloud with that old OSX.
Also, this is the developers forum. You might post in the icloud/mac or icloud/iOS Device forum(s), you might get better results there as there are many posts there by users who have similar issues as yours.
